This site is around half a mile from the river Dordogne and the pretty village of Grolejac. You can swim or paddle from the shallow shingle beaches or take a canoe trip down river. There is a reservoir a 15 minute walk from site where you can try windsurfing and hire pedalos

Take to the water on a canoe trip down the river, passing through valleys and gorges, overlooked by dramatic castles and ancient caves. Trips can be organised at various points along the river. At les Grottes de Lacave, less than an hours drive, take a little train through a series of underground caves and caverns where you will be amazed by the striking special effects.
