Domaine de Chalain is a long-time Canvas favourite. This is a large and lively site, that is the ideal location for an active family holiday, beautifully set beside a lake of shimmering water with a backdrop of steep hills.

There is a superb pool complex, with outdoor and indoor pools, waterslides (6yrs+ only), waterfalls, a sauna, rapids and a jacuzzi. There is also an excellent range of sporting facilities, complemented by a first-rate animation programme in high season. Lakeside, you will find all manner of watersports - hire a pedalo or canoe, or enjoy a cooling swim, before soaking up the sun on the shore. Keen fishermen can indulge in a spot of lake fishing from the banks of the adjacent lake.
