The coastal resort of St Aubin-sur-Mer is a fifteen minute walk from site. This is a typical Norman holiday town, its long promenade lined on one side by many bars, cafes and restaurants and on the other with a long, sandy beach. The beach is gently shelving and is great for swimming and stretches for miles in each direction. The large town of Caen is 12 miles from site.

Take a trip to the family amusement park of Parc Festyland in Bretteville-sur-Odon (11mls). Visit the thirty attractions and shows, including the Pirate Boats and the Viking City. The Museum for Peace Memorial in Caen is well worth a visit, offering an audio visual history of 20th century history.
