The local area around Camping Cavallino & Venice
Camping Cavallino is located in the small village of Ca Ballarin. There is a supermarket, plus bars and restaurants in the nearby village of Ca'Savio. The nearest large resort is Jesolo, around a 20 minute drive away. The water bus to Venice can be caught from Punta Sabbioni, a short drive from site. The journey to Venice takes around 40 minutes.
For a fun day why not try one of the many waterparks in the area. Aqualandia in Lido di Jesolo has a variety of waterslides for all the family, from the fast and the furious to the more sedate. The largest theme park in Italy, Mirabilandia (a two and half hour drive) has themed areas, which include thrill rides and a Caribbean Beach.
