Pineda de Mar is right on the doorstep with its stunning 3km long sandy beach - a tree-lined promenade curves alongside the beach, lined with convenient beach cafes, shops and bars. You'll find sun loungers to rest your head on, umbrellas for shade and plenty of water sports for the active. The entire stretch of coastline is blessed with beautiful beaches- try the Sant Pol Beach, just 15 minutes' drive along the coast, for its dramatic dunes and delicious seafood restaurants. For something different head north to Lloret de Mar and visit the gorgeous botanic clifftop gardens. Of course the vibrant city of Barcelona is only an hour away and should not be missed!
