La Yole nestles less than three miles from the buzzing seaside town of St Jean-de-Monts, which offers a great choice of bars, restaurants and shops. The sheltered sandy beach of Merlin Plage is a brisk 25 minute walk (5 minute drive) along the main road from site.
Visit the Oceanile water theme park and the Sealand aquarium; both a 45 minute drive from the site at Ile de Noirmoutier. A few minutes drive will take you to the sandy beach at Sion-sur-l'Ocean where children will adore exploring the rocky coves and rock pools.
