A five-minute drive down the hill finds the market town of Figline Valdarno. Here, there is a good supermarket and petrol station, as well as plenty of shops and restaurants. Figline also has a train station with ample parking, from where there is a regular service to Florence (30mins). In high season the campsite provides a tourist train service between the site and train station.

Visit the Pinocchio theme park in Collodi (57mls) for a fun day out with no strings attached! While in Florence, be sure to climb the steps to the top of the dome of the cathedral for some stunning views over the city then reward yourself with a delicious ice cream once back down!
