 I would recommend Lakeview Cottages, Somerset to anyone and have already done so! A fantastic, peaceful location, superb accommodation. In close travelling distance to many attractions, but far enough away to feel completely relaxed if you wanted to be!

We have just come back from a 4 night break at the Ladybird Cottage in Bridgwater, Somerset. What excellent accommodation - well equipped and quiet.

Highly recommended superior family accommodation very close to Junction 24, M5, which makes it an ideal location for exploring all of Somerset and within easy reach of Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Street and Bath. Especially suitable where families like to do their own thing and are not seeking "on-site" entertainment, the location of the site is only suitable for families with a car.

Beautifully located in green surroundings but close enough to the motorway to be easily accessible to the whole of Somerset. Accommodation standard was outstanding with lots of thought gone into storage, utensils and a great info pack on local amenities.

High quality accommodation and cleanliness. In the middle of no-where but great for access to various places being just off M5! Myself and family (parents and children) all enjoyed Lakeview Cottages. It was quiet for relaxing, fishing lake which my 12year old son enjoyed. A small play area, both children aged 12 & 10 made good use of. Staff always on hand to assist, very well presented and make great suggestions as to where to visit as well as how to get there. A lot of walking can be made or if you prefer take a bike or hire one while there. Bikes sheds are secure. WI-FI, TV, Patio area and own BBQ bucket supplied at each property. What more could we ask for, a great time had by all at ages ranging from 10 to 65 in my family.

What a great place to stay, the cottage was truly a home from home and fitted out to a high standard. We stayed in the Ladybird Cottage which faced the lake, my children loved watching the geese and ducks landing on the water. It is situated close to the M5 so getting to places was very easy. Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Burnham on Sea and Weston Super Mare along with a host of other attractions are all within easy reach. We will definitely stay there again.

Our accommodation was excellent. We had a fantastic holiday and we were very close to the carnival, we would definitely recommend this holiday to others.

The best accommodation I have ever stayed in! A spotlessly clean, luxury villa
with everything you will need for you stay. A very peaceful setting next to a lake (you cannot hear the cars on the M5), and brilliant for touring the whole Somerset area as it is all within easy reach from the M5. I would recommend a visit to Longleat Safari Park, and the superb Haynes International Motor Museum with a visit to Weymouth in the afternoon for some seaside fun. Also if you want a very nice day out I would recommend the beautiful Lynton and Lynmouth cliff area, it is a must and the water lift is fantastic!

The property is set in a quite rural location with great access to the M5. The accommodation is excellent, very clean with everything thats required for a great stay, a real home from home. The properties are finished to a high specification and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a base for exploring Somerset and surrounding counties.

When we entered the bungalow it was a real WOW. The accommodation, decor and equipment was excellent. Pub nearby, easy access to motorway. Would recommend it to anyone.

We have just returned home from a very lovely stay at this park. We had lovely weather for this time of year and the accommdation was just great, warm, cosy and very comfortable. We were so pleased to have nothing to do for a change, we just enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The location and the standard of the cottages are of a very high standard and with lovely quality furnishings ,fittings and deco. The cleanliness of the accommodation is so great and it gives all the home comforts that anyone would like to have.

The accommodation is really top quality and finished to a really high standard , I've stayed in 4* hotels and this outshone some of those. The furnishings have had real thought and really made us feel special. Great access to/from the motorway everything within easy reach. Nice area really safe for children, playground and grassy area plenty for them to run around on. Accommodation has bike storage or has details on a cycle hire place that delivers. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good quality cottage. Will definitely book again .

I would recommend this holiday for the site was quiet and clean, well equipped kitchen, modern and very comfortable. Certainly will be very good when they finish the whole site, with more homes a hotel & 18 hole golf course, which at the moment has not yet been completed.

We would definitely recommend Lakeview Cottages to friends and family because every thing about our holiday was perfect, from the house we stayed in, to the friendliness of Christine Ingram who could not have been more helpful during our stay.

By far the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. The cottage was furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean throughout. In a peaceful location yet within easy reach of the local attractions. We will definitely be back in the future.

This was so much more than home from home! 5 star hotel accommodation with the added benefit of self catering, we will definitely return and could not recommend this holiday highly enough to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat from the stresses of everyday life.

There are lots of interesting places nearby such as Glastonbury, Bath and Bristol. Also there are excellent walks in the area and we found some super places for lunch. Our three boys enjoyed cycling along the canal nearby, there is lots to do to keep any family busy whatever your interests.

The house was beautiful as were the surroundings, also there are many lovely things to do near by.
