Everything about this holiday is so near to being perfect - its setting, location and scenery is truly idyllic, its like stepping into a fairy tale!

Would recommend this holiday to anyone who wants a great value family holiday with loads to do but surrounded by peace and quiet. Accommodation and facilities fantastic. Both our children want to know when we are going back! Will definitely be looking at a return visit.

The break was perfect and we couldn't fault anything. Especially pleased and surprised at the welcome pack of wine and chocolates!! Location and accommodation also exceeded our expectations.

I really would recommend Brecon Cottages as our appartment was clean, well kept and we felt most welcome. We were pleasantly surprised by the facilities on site and are looking forward to returning again in October!

You are surrounded by nature, and the most beautiful back drop you could imagine. You can do as much as you like with the activities that are around you or as little as you like depending what kind of holiday you want, I would definitely do this again!

Based in a lovely setting amongst the mountains, the lodges are clean, have all the basics you'll need and there are plenty of facilities to keep children (young and old) entertained.

This site is excellent. Although we didn't use the many facilities, due to the fact that we had taken our dog, it's still an excellent base for touring around.

The accommodation was first class, and we were well looked after from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Add this to being surrounded by spectacular views of the Brecon Beacons and being within easy reach of many of Wales' attractions all made for a fantastic holiday that we are looking forward to repeating soon.

Very friendly staff - Superb accommodation - sauna in room was sheer luxury!

I would recomend my holiday as it was a great base for further exploration of south Wales, plus the cottages were on a great park which had a lot to offer just by itself. The staff were extremely helpful and it had easy access, even for me with my disabilities with walking.

Its peaceful, with amazing views and all the facilities we needed. It's great value and an excellent base for touring South Wales.

The site is fantastic with plenty for the kids to do, it's small enough to let older children have some independence with all the outdoor facilities and the games room yet big enough not to be bumping into people all the time. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The accommodation and facilities are spotless. We have been for the last two years and will be going back again.

Great location, very scenic, and accommodation much larger than expected. Very good value for money, this is the second year we have booked with Hoseasons and will probably do so again as they never seem to let us down.

If you are looking for a peaceful and restful holiday but with the option of many attractions nearby, Brecon Cottages is an ideal location.

I would not like to recommend Brecon Cottages as if they become too popular it will be more difficult to book there for myself!!!

Staff and location all excellent real family fun really enjoyed the break only complaint not long enough.

Suberb views, excellent facilities, added bonus with caves and animal park/Shire horses etc.

A very peaceful holiday, accommodation superb, different accommodation for different needs. Have been there with the family in the large accommodation and now have returned with husband in the double accommodation. Fantastic views.

I would definitely recommend Brecon cottages to others.....it's a home from home hoilday with plenty to do. The accommodation was compact but had everything we would need.....very well equipped and VERY clean.

We thought that we might be stuck for something to do at such a quiet location - we were wrong! We went swimming every day, played crazy golf and tennis on top of a mountain in the rain, went to the gym and challenged each other to the games in the games room. We lived amongst dinosaurs and went down the fantastic magical caves. When we could spare the time we visited a haunted castle, a monkey sanctuary and the beautiful Brecon Beacons and the wonderful coast at the Mumbles.

Was a fantastic long weekend away! Can't wait to go back for longer! The 'cottage' was very supplied with amenities and even a dishwasher! Smalls things like supplying small amounts of dishwasher tablets and fairy liquid made things so much easier. Fantastic little space for two people to get away. Set in beautiful area of Wales. Resort had lots to offer and information avaliable was very helpful. Thank you for such a brilliant time away.

Dan yr Ogof is a fantastic place to stay.Great for the whole family with wonderful scenery nearby. The accomodation is the best we have stayed in.

Excellent site for a family holiday, we stayed in a cottage and the family and grandchildren were camping just down the lane. A fantastic meeting point, we enjoyed the comfortable facilities and the grandchildren the freedom to play. The caves are fantastic value for money and exciting for all ages. The site was better than its description. You cannot fault the help given by the staff, they were amazing.

The walking was amazing, it is totally breath taking! There is a really good family pub about two minutes walk down the road called The Gwyn Arms - I really recommend it. The owners are extremely hospitable and the whole holiday was extremely enjoyable, a place where you can really relax and forget yourself. It was so much fun, everyone was really accomodating and they tried to fulfill whatever wishes customers had. I wanted to go back as soon as we started to leave - I really recommend this to everyone!

A superb location with loads to do - a fantastic holiday!

We'd recommend Brecon Cottages to anyone who wants a peaceful break in a quiet setting that is easily accessible to many attractions and places of interest. It really is lovely there - we've stayed here seven times now, and each time it gets better!

The cottages are well furnished, conveniently located, and in a wonderful quiet location with ample amenities.

Good accommodation and friendly staff. Plenty to do on site, recommend the skiing which has a good instructor. Great walks from the site, something for all ages.

The accommodation was to an exceptional standard-even better than the brochure showed. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Although in a quiet location there are lots of nice pubs nearby and you have the caves right next door and plenty of nice walks.

I found the cottages at Brecon Beacon delightful, some amazing walks and never very far away from amenities like a supermarket, close to Cardiff and Swansea, both good days out! The accommodation was really clean and tidy, I enjoyed my wine and chocolates :)

It is a friendly and welcoming place where you can just sit back and relax or for the more energetic there is lots to see and explore both at the park and close by. The views are also great and the place is great for children. For me it had everything l could have wished for in a holiday any time of the year.

This holiday is excellent if you're a couple or family, with excellent access to South Wales.

Holiday was as close to perfect as can be.

The accommodation (honeymoon suite) exceeded our expectations, and our reception by the Park's staff was excellent. We were delighted to receive the complimentary wine and chocolates even though we had not booked the full week's holiday and were very impressed with the level and quality of fittings within the property. We were also pleased to note that despite using a fair number of electrical facilities during our stay, we did not have to top up the electricity meter once.

The scenery was fantastic - we have been twice and will go again later this year!

Excellent facilities, courteous staff, fantastic views, something for all ages, fresh air, so good its does not matter what the weather is like!

Brecon Cottages was a lovely place to stay with friendly, helpful staff and immaculate accommodation. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Excellent value and wonderful surroundings.

A friendly, well-equipped complex in a stunning location. There is plenty to do nearby including the stunning Hen Rhyd Falls just a few miles away and a range of Waterfall walks accessible from Pontnedfechan nearby. Try a meal at The Ancient Briton, only a few minutes drive from the complex - freshly cooked and good value! The staff on-site were fantastic - very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The showcaves were spectacular and a hefty discount is available for Brecon Cottages guests. We couldn't have wished for a better, more relaxing holiday and even when the rain stopped outdoor play, the indoor play in the excellent FREE Games Room kept us busy!

The setting was beautiful and peaceful, we did some lovely walks and we found the staff very helpful. This is definitely a place to visit again!

Brecon Cottages are a great base from which to enjoy energetic walks and bike rides. The caves and dinosaur park are brilliant for the children (and the grownups too)! I first went to Dan-Yr-Ogof (Brecon Cottages) 23 years ago, the accommodation is second to none and each time I have returned there have been improvements and updating. The owners and staff always go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. It is outstanding in every way. A really relaxing holiday.

What a fantastic location with superb facilities. Everything is free - didn't even need a deposit for the mini golf clubs - we were very impressed that our boys could just go and use everything at will and we were never asked the usual "Can we have xx pence for the pool table" and such like. All the staff were very welcoming, helpful, informative and friendly, then they left you in peace and just gave a wave as you came and went.

I would recommend the holiday as the location was excellent - in the mountains enough to feel like you were away from the masses, but only a 25 minute drive to Swansea one way and Brecon the other. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool was excellent and the facilities good.

A good base for walking with good quality local pubs for eating, and other tourist attractions within easy reach.

A really enjoyable experience. The cottage was very well equipped, modern yet cosy. The staff were friendly and the scenery and surrounding areas were stunning. The local pub serves delicious home made food and is only a short walk away.

The games room, swimming pool, animal farm, and showcaves were a real hit with the children and the adults.

It is a beautiful area, has well kept cottages, excellent staff, plenty of games indoor or outdoor, covered swimming pool and a very large dinosaur park!

The complex had everything we needed to get through a wet day, and the location (Brecon Beacons) had everything we could have wanted to enjoy the warm and dry days. We chose the complex specifically because it was smack bang where we wanted to be, and all of the activities the complex had to offer were a huge bonus. We had a superb holiday and will definitely be back!

It is a perfect holiday for all ages and the park has everything you need except a bar, but as there are two in a very short distance from the camp it really isn't needed. It is clean and very quiet, was a lovely holiday.

I first visited Brecon Cottages at Dan-Yr-Ogof over 20 years ago, it has always been a superb holiday venue of the highest standard. The whole team there do their utmost to ensure a true "Welcome in the Hillside"!

Excellent accommodation, the honeymoon cottage was more than I was expecting as we had a sauna in our bedroom. The site was very quiet and the staff helpful.

We absolutely love Brecon Cottages. This was our third stay and I would go back again. it is clean, tidy, beautiful, in lovely surroundings and there are plenty of places to visit in the area. The Gwyn Arms is a very friendly pub/restaurant, but for a special meal The Abercrave Inn a few miles away is fantastic!

I was very impressed with how child friendly the accommodation was and everything was catered for, right down to a cork screw for the wine. It was a very nice gesture to have a bottle of wine and a box of chocs on arrive - we really enjoyed the weekend.

Great location, picturesque, quit location but surprisingly still lots to do on site and within short distances. Great for nature lovers, walkers and families alike.

Because being on a boat is a totally different world and so you have no time to think about home.

We would definitely recommend this holiday to others as it's the perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday or weekend away. There are wonderful walks and scenery, it's peaceful, the facilities are second to none and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This was our 4th visit and this time we bought with us our family, who after their 1st visit are already talking about coming back.

On arrival at the cottage, I was immediately impressed with the size and decor of the place, and of course, the cleanliness. The kitchen was well fitted out with a fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave and a dishwasher - which was a nice surprise! There was also tea, coffee, milk and sugar which was an unexpected extra. The lounge was lovely with a beautiful suite and TV/DVD/Video. On the table was a bottle of wine and a box of chocs, which again was a nice little extra touch. Both bedrooms had four poster beds and en-suite bathrooms, one also had a private sauna, which we hadn't expected, though we didn't actually use it in the end. The beds were very well presented, and made up on arrival, and the two bathrooms each had 2 bath towels and plenty of loo rolls. Throughout the holiday all the staff we met were extremely pleasant, friendly and helpful, and overall, I'd say that the Gemini Cottage at Brecon Cottages was the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in!!

We had a fantastic week, the staff were extremely helpful, the accommodation contained everything we needed and more. Lot's of little extra's such as a dishwasher, sauna and cd/dvd player all made the week that extra bit special. The park is in a beautiful location and we enjoyed many scenic walks, taking in the local waterfalls and country park direct from our accommodation. This was our first visit but will most definitely not be our last as we look forward to returning.

A good value short break with plenty to do.

We were a family of two adults and two kids and we had a truly FANTASTIC time at Brecon Cottages. The accommodation was superb, but most of all was nice and clean - couldn't be faulted. Nice friendly proprietors too! It was the ideal location for us with the Dinosaur Park and Dan Yr Ogof on site (lots of up hill walking though!). Being on site was brilliant and we had a discount on first entry, and then half price on returning a second time! Dan Yr Ogof was spectacular! The park nearby was also wonderful with lovely scenic walks. No doubt one of the best holidays we've had - thank you very much!

Brecon Cottages has an added advantage of being co-located with the impressive National Show caves of Wales. They are also a great location for walking holidays.

It was such a relaxing and beautiful place, yet there was so much to do on site and off site. We wanted to stay so much longer and felt we had only just scraped the surface of a pot of gold.

We had a very warm welcome and were shown to our accommodation which was of excellent standard both of size, utilities and cleanliness. A bonus was the indoor pool right next to the cottages which we were able to access whenever we liked and generally had to ourselves. The camp facilities were good and the views were spectacular. All of the staff that we came into contact with were extremely friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome. The caves next door were an enjoyable day out and there were plenty of local points of interest to occupy us. I would definitely recommend this site to others.

This was our second visit and we could not fault a single thing. We have already booked for next year and plan many more visits in the future!

Fantastic views from comfortable and homely accommodation.

Beautiful countryside with great walks from the doorstep. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Accommodation was the best equipped we have stayed in. Great swimming pool for the size of the park (we usually had the pool to ourselves!). Having the showcaves on sites was a great bonus for a rainy day.

Superb location in the heart of the Brecons. Great for mountain walks and lots to do with the on site facilities. Also right next to the showcaves and dinosaur park which are very impressive. Pub close by within walking distance with good food and the accommodation is very nice too. Great holiday.

I would definitely recommend this park. This park was fantastic, and very well run - the best Hoseasons park I have ever stayed at. The reinvestment in the accommodation and furnishings and park setting is obvious! The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to help. The park is quiet and might not be to everyone?s taste but was perfect for my first holiday alone with my children, I felt at ease here. There were plenty of activities to suit all tastes within the park itself or within a short drive of the park.

I have already recommended this to many friends and family!! The staff were so kind, polite and helpful, the accommodation was in a great location and was well facilitated.

The Gemini Cottage was really clean and very spacious for 2 couples, both with en-suite and 4 poster beds - also in 1 bedroom there was a sauna which would of been used if we had had bad weather. The views from the kitchen and dining room were breathtaking and the staff were very friendly and had loads of advice of where to visit. We did the mountain railway which was very good for adults and children with lovely views. We travelled to the Gower Coast and they are worth a visit, and the waterfalls nearby were equally as good.

The place was spotlessly clean both in and out, the views were spectacular, and we were still able to travel to many different parts of Wales as the cottages are in quite a central location, whilst still being in the heart of the countryside.

Lovely location, modern well equipped accommodation with fantastic views. Very grateful for show caves and free amenities of indoor pool, small gym and games room on the one really wet day. Enjoyed challenging crazy golf and tennis court with a view when weather better. Easy access to footpath to top of hill and appreciated on-site cafe. Found a good value local pub a short drive away if not self-catering. Friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended for a short break.

The accommodation was spotless, quiet and better equipped than we expected. The park facilities were available for long periods durning the day and the staff were very helpful and gave extra information regarding shops, fishing, petrol stations, local eating places etc. An all round excellent holiday!

I have already recommended you to friends and family after a wonderful short stay at Brecon Cottages. Friendly and helpful staff, very nice clean accommodation and lovely location, our trip to the nearby waterfalls was one of the nicest walks I've ever had. I've got teenagers who enjoyed the indoor swimming and tennis on site but there was plenty for younger kids too so we plan to come back with my four-year-old nephew and niece. A great and good value holiday, thank you.

Good location and onsite amenities, great for peace and quiet and lots of walks, a good few pubs which offer great food and hospitality. The area even accommodates for children and dogs.

Fantastic accommodation, we expected a good standard from a Hoseasons Holiday but it was much more, the kitchen in particular had everything you could want. We went with friends and the fact that the bedrooms had ensuites gave all of us that little extra privacy.

Definitely to be recommended. It was my second time to the park, and there was plenty to do, both on site and in the surrounding area. Its the perfect mix of private and active.

What a fantastic family holiday! My two children aged 12 and 7 had a great time with lots to do, and the helpfulness of the staff was brill. We most certainly will be returning next year, and friends have already booked!

We had a lovely stay, the country park just up the road is worth a visit as is the red kite feeding station the other side of the black mountains. We would like to visit again and make full use of the good facilities on site.

The location is calm and peaceful and a great place to unwind and relax. The flat was well furnished and equipped, with surround sound TV, DVD, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and sauna. Clean and comfortable and well priced.

Brecon cottages are in ideal location for couples and families to enjoy the Brecon Beacons national park. The cottages are of a high standard and we were made to feel welcome right from the start of our holiday, a very nice holiday park.

Really friendly and helpful staff and comfortable well equipped accommodation. Situated in the midst of stunning scenery and within easy reach of walks that vary from riverbank strolls to challenging hillsides. Great day out at the Big Pit and huge beaches within an hours drive. Really didn't care about a bit of rain when you saw the waterfalls and caves it creates.

The most helpful staff I have ever experienced at a park!

We loved our stay at Brecon Cottages, we wished we had stopped longer. The area is beautiful, the hikes that we went on were lovely, the scenery was stunning and the views from the top of Lyn-y-Fach were breath taking. We will definitely go again... very soon and climb lots more peaks. A must for people who like the out doors ...stunning. We will definitely stay at Brecon Cottages again.

I would definitely recommend the Brecon Cottages as it provided a number of facilities i.e. swimming pool, mini golf and sauna, for young and old so there's always something to do back at the complex. Rooms are spacious and the kitchen was provided with full utensils, it even had ironing board and iron so less to carry with you. The Cathedral Cave and the Dinosaur Park at the DAN-YR-OGOF was great day out for the whole family as well as the Cantref Adventure Farm. We also went to the Brecon Mountain Railway and attempted the Henrhyd Waterfalls which is difficult with 5 year old child so maybe next time when she's older.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Brecon Cottages, the staff made us feel most welcome. The cottage was clean and cosy and the bottle of wine and box of chocolates was an unexpected surprise. A beautiful setting which was very relaxing, there are some excellent walks close by, we will certainly come back again.

The Crow's Nest 2 lodge was brilliant size for 6 people as it had 4 shower rooms/WC -as Sauna room had its own ensuite. Kitchen well equipped and pleasantly surprised as there was a full size dishwasher and detergent. Electricity meter by pound coins great value - only spent 4GBP over the 4 night stay, and 6 people using the sauna, dishwasher and oven at various times of day! Pre-teen boys loved being independent and safe within the grounds and used mini golf and games room at every opportunity when back from day out. Recommend the Pen y Cae restaurant for families as outdoor grounds and animals to entertain between courses. We had 3 fun packed days - shame we had to go home!

I strongly recommend this holiday for anyone who wants to get away from the daily grind and experience beautiful scenery, fresh air and stay in a cosy little cottage which has everything you need.

Our first experience of a Hoseasons holiday and not our last. We can't decide whether to go back to the same place or try another Hoseasons holiday next time. Everything was way beyond our expectations. Perfect accommodation, friendly staff, excellent facilities in a beautiful location. What more could we ask?

The standard and range of facilities at the Brecon Cottages was exceptional, run by a friendly staff. The holiday at Brecon cottages was value for money. The accommodation was of a very high standard and very clean when we arrived. The facilities which were on offer were excellent and i liked the fact they were available whenever we wanted to use them. The location was beautiful lots of lovely walks. This place is lovely, there is so much to do but we just didn't have time as we were out walking all day. It was lovely to be able to come back and relax in comfort and the pub down the road was really friendly as well. I will recommend this place to my friends.

I highly recommend this holiday to young families. There are lots of kids' activities to do in the complex. For families with older children there are places nearby that they can explore for a much more active adventure. For the parents there are lots of high street shops we accidentally found. Make sure you have your satnav with you -they are heaven-sent. I have a very active 7-year old son and he said he thoroughly enjoyed his visit to Wales.

This park is in a beautiful location and the quality of the accommodation is excellent - even better than expected.

Lovely holiday, great location for spectacular scenery. Gwyn Arms within walking distance provides good home cooked food with good value for money. Ancient Britton a little drive away, turn right out road about one mile away, provides lovely food, good value for money and nice atmosphere a little bit better setting than Gwyn Arms. Staff at the accommodation were very helpful, pleasant, caring, would like them to know how much we appreciate their helpfulness.

I would say the holiday Breacon Cottages are highly recommendable. The onsite facilities such as the games room, swimming pool, tennis courts and crazy golf (all available at no extra cost) make this the sort of place young families can come and have a relatively cheap break away.

I would definitely recommend this holiday. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is great, not only are you right in the heart of the Becons but only a short drive away are some fantastic beaches.

Relaxing, quiet location with enough facilities for all to enjoy. We all loved unlimited use of pool and games room. So peaceful, even with our 6 and 8 year old boys.

We have just returned from this site and we have to say that the accommodation was fantastic. It was clean, well equipped and very spacious. The pictures on the Hoseason's website do not do it justice. We stayed in the Crows Nest 2 accommodation and could not fault it. There were 4 adults, 1 toddler and 1 baby in our group and the accommodation was plenty big enough. The location was perfect and even on a rainy day there was plenty to do at the caves, dinosaur park and swimming pool.

I would recommend this holiday to families or couples who love the outdoors. The cave and Dinosaur park next door (literally 2 minutes walk) are brilliant!

Such a welcome, homely feel and great views. We went for walks then spent the evening warming in the sauna and enjoying our cosy accommodation. We aranged for our shopping to be delivered by Asda, which was useful as it meant we did not have to lose any holiday time. We would come here again for sure!

Great location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle, plenty to do in and around the park. Rained solid for the first two days of our trip but did not dampen our spirits. Would come back again.

The site had everything we needed and didn't need any improvements. It was set in a beautiful location and was a good base for travelling to the coast or into the countryside.

A superb location, excellent accommodation, great facilities for all ages and no noisy clubhouse to spoil the tranquility. Wonderful hikes from the park and helpful and friendly staff. We were a family group of 8, aged from 12 weeks to 65 yrs, in 2 cottages and everyone had a great time!

You can't beat this relaxing holiday. It has everything you need, and if the weather is fine that makes it perfect. I thought my 7 and 11 year olds would be bored but they certainly werent! - they loved it.

Brecon Cottages are a great base from which to enjoy energetic walks and bike rides. The caves and dinosaur park are brilliant for the children (and the group ups too). We would highly recommend Brecon Cottages, they were in a great location, great facilities, and a lovely site, we were trusted to use the pool/gym/facilities, which no-one abused. The games room was very well stocked and the location was lovely, despite having a fairly large attraction next door, we were not disturbed by people visiting or their vehicles. I would highly recommend visiting this site.

A beautiful setting and fantastic accommodation. We were especially pleased to find that the activities on offer did not incur any additional charges (tennis, crazy golf, pool table, table tennis, skittles, table football etc).

I would recommend this holiday as it is in a beautiful setting with plenty to occupy your time including caves, dry ski slpoe, pool and lots of walks and it only took us 30 minutes to get to the coast.

The location was stunning, and very central for getting out and about.

A great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons and surrounding area (second to none for visiting the Dinosaurs and Show Caves - my daughter couldn't believe she could see a stegosaurus from the living room window!) A very warm welcome and a high standard of accommodation (even a dishwasher which meant we felt like we had a proper holiday)

We were a family party of 9 (4 generations) staying for a week, and we all really enjoyed it. There was something for everyone - the surrounding scenery was beautiful, the accommodation was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly.
