 Generous sizes of rooms and quality of decor and furnishings provided. Sound proofing and privacy between units was very good. We particularly enjoyed the daily display by red squirrels outside our bungalow - thank you!

Booked 2 bed Plus Villa, and was very impressed with the cleanliness and quality of furnishings on arrival. The hot tub was a hit with all the family, and was great to be able to have a dip after a busy day of sightseeing. Would definitely visit again.

I would recommend Gurnard Pines to anyone. Great value for money especially for a winter break as a lot of the facilities are still open.

Lovely big rooms in the accommodation (3 bed bungalow) great children's activities, and really peaceful in the evenings.

Soft play area is excellent. Close to Gurnard which is a lovely little beach. We have stayed twice but still haven't got to swimming pool as there is so much to do in Isle of Wight.

We loved the fact that there was a fantastic outdoor pool - with plently of space to sit around. The little baby pool was perfect for our 3 small children and on returning home they had new hobby!

I would recommend this holiday as it was value for money, had very good activities with a good instructor, gave the family a chance to try things they have never tried before and indeed we will look into having another holiday in the Go Active Breaks in another part of the country and hope we have as good as an experience!

Good value for money. Lots to do. Very quiet - but was out of season. Very enjoyable. Accommodation very high standard with good facilities for self catering and good sized rooms. Beds very comfortable. Really relaxing and stress-free holiday.

Gurnard Pines was a vey pleasant place to stay, offering lots of activities and great accomodation. In the Easter holidays there were people around but we never had to queue or wait for anything. It was all very well organised and presented. The fencing was definitely a hit with my family!

The lodge and the facilities at this park are fantastic, best accommodation that we have ever had and would definitely come back again, the pool and ladies changing rooms are superb and it was a pleasure to go for a swim every day.

The site was absolutely stunning in a woodland location. We saw the rare red squirrel which is quite common on this site. he accommodation was superb. The standard was far above what we expected, and very clean and comfortable. I would be very happy to recommend this site to anyone as it appears suitable for people of all ages. It is slightly remote, so people expecting a lively night life should go elsewhere. But for those who enjoy the outdoors, and stunning scenery, this place is an absolute must.

I would recommend this holiday to any family or group of friends who want an active, sight-seeing holiday, with accommodation which gives them the choice of eating out and staying in and cooking a nice meal. The scenery was breathtaking and the holiday could be as relaxing or as active as you want it to be.

The villa was beautiful. It was quiet and presumably because we are over 55 we were near the woods with other quiet people. As a relaxing holiday it was perfect we learnt petanque and boules which was about as much as we wanted to do.

Gurnard Pines is in an excellent location, close to Cowes and the ferry port and has good links to other places on the Isle of Wight - your own transport is best though. The site is very well equipped for families with lots of facilities and activities provided. Although not 'plush' the rustic lodge was comfortable, warm and modern, with some obvious recent improvements in furniture and soft furnishing.

I would recommend this holiday for people with young children who want a great time for the kids but a peaceful and relaxing time when the kids have gone to bed!
The play areas were superb and the kids were exhausted by the end of the day. We then got to sit and chill out to the sounds of nothing other than nature.....bliss!

Great accommodation and location. The soft play, outdoor play area and swimming pool were the highlight of our kids' holiday - I only wish the weather had been better so we could have made use of the outdoor pool and paddling area. Staff very friendly and helpful.

This is a great base to explore the island with Cowes and Newport short drives away. Secluded woodland setting was perfect for a peaceful family break in low-season. Saw a red-squirrel on our last day!

The standard of accommodation was brilliant and the bungalow was clean and very well equipped. The enthusiasm of the "Go Active" staff was contagious!

We couldn't believe how big and spacious the bungalows were - we stayed in a 3 bedroom bungalow and for what we paid for 3 nights was a bargain (mainly because it was February) - but they were spacious, clean, modern had all the facilities you could possibly need, even a dishwasher! We found it nice and peaceful and enjoyed using the facilities of the gym, indoor swimming pool, and the kids loved the monkey mansion soft play area! We would definitely come back here again.

Very clean and the staff were always keen and happy to help. The place (i.e. chalet density) was light and airy and the site design was nice with open spaces, chalets not build on top of each other and as a result, red squires, ducks and various wildlife on site. I would be happy to rebook here again.

We have booked out annual family holiday with Hoseasons on many occasions but the Gurnard Pines was by far the best. The accommodation was well equipped and furnished and above all the beds and sofas were comfortable. The bathroom facilities were excellent with two bathrooms, both with toilet and shower - a luxury that we made the most of. The activity instructors, Jason and Craig were fantastic with both adults and children and made an good holiday great. We will definitely be returning..

Pleasing in every way, the accommodation and VERY SPACIOUS for a holiday home! both bedrooms and living.....loved the open plan feel ....LOVED the woodlands around lodges and lovely walkabout......pretty all round surroundings and felt safe.

We loved the lodges with very generous accommodation sizes and found the pool/gym facilities to be extremely clean and attractive to use.

We would certainly recomend this to our friends as their grand children would enjoy this park no end - we would probably bring ours next time too!

We had a lovely holiday, great location, happy with the quality of the Villa, very much liked the no noise policy after 9pm as I have a young child. I would definitely book a holiday at Gurnard Pines again, but next time stay for longer.

Definitely recommend Hoseasons. From booking all the way till the end of the holiday staff were helpful and efficient and after a long drive it was an easy check-in. Accommodation exceeded expectation which resulted in a very nice weekend break for the family...Will definitely use Hoseasons again for future holidays!!

Accommodation roomy, good location, lots of wildlife to be seen (saw lots of red squirrels) ample parking & lots of open space - didn't feel overcrowded. A very relaxing holiday! Staff very friendly & the indoor softplay was fantastic!

The Isle of Wight offers a truly wonderful family holiday. The island is the perfect size to explore, there's no muttering from the children of the immortal lines "are we there yet???", there are hidden gems around every turn. Gurnard Pines is the perfect base offering plenty of activities to suit every age and fitness level.

Gurnard Pines is set in a beautiful and peaceful area of the Isle of Wight. The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable. This was an ideal base for a holiday which was much enjoyed. We would recommend this.

Don't worry about the English weather because the standard of accommodation, the brilliant staff and facilities, (especially for children), made the rain irrelevent!

Very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful setting with fantastic facilities. Our children loved the excellent soft play area. The pool and gym are open from early in the morning to the evening so we were able to make good use of them. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic woodland location. We were surrounded by wildlife and saw red squirrels in abundance. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and condition of the accommodation.
