 We stayed at the Thorness site on the Isle of Wight. Great location for visiting all sorts of places - Carisbrooke Castle was surprisingly good and only a few minutes drive, and we also had really good days out at Bembridge, The Needles and Alum Bay, Shanklin Chine and Ventnor. Great site for visitors with dogs as the beach to which you can walk from the site isn't restricted to non dog users in summer months, and there was a lovely Nature trail walk through the trees as well. Our caravan was small but clean and comfortable and we found a friendly dog friendly pub serving amazing food a short drive away in Shalfleet.

Staff very friendly, food was excellent, plenty for the kids to do, so we could have time to relax.

Good shops in nearby Newport. Enjoyed the holiday very much, and our dog enjoyed walks around the bay.

Friendly staff, a lot of room between units, you do not feel on top of others. Easy walk to beach.

As a base to visit Cornwall, the park is quietly set, surrounded by green , the only sound being birds. The accommodation was roomy, warm and well equipped. Our children are older and need the 'full on' entertainment less and less, so this park was perfect.

This place is definitely much more that value for money as it's at very good location, is in excellent condition.

We had a lovely time at Thorness Bay. The staff were cheerful and friendly and the facilities were clean and tidy. It was an excellent base to explore the island from.

This holiday suited our needs perfectly. We had a wonderful break and we have already recommended this holiday to our family and friends. The organisation of it from the booking to the end of our trip was impeccable!

We hope to return next year with other family members. Enjoyable week, campsite very pleasant, pleased on arrival. Location of campsite good for local travel. New campsite for the family this year but very pleased.

Great location for exploring the island, right on the beach and lots for the kids to do.

The park and the facilities here are great, it is a great place to take the children and all ages are catered for. The woodland walk was great and when were stayed in May as the whole place was covered in a bed of bluebells. You do need a car to get about from this park, but the on site facilities cover most items you would need to buy.

The Isle of Wight is a beautiful place to visit with plenty to keep all ages occupied and the park was well serviced and situated central to the main points of interest.

I cannot think of any improvements which could be made, we had an excellent weekend and found staff to be very helpful and friendly, would not hesitate to holiday again in a Hoseasons Park.
As mentioned everything was excellent and I could not fault the accommodation. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the kids loved it.

Holidaying with two dogs and our one year old we thought would be challenging due to dogs restrictions, but we found the park extremely dog friendly and the bay for the whole family was inviting and the whole of the Isle of Wight is to be highly recommended!

A really friendly park with lots of things going on for the kids. The evening entertainment was fantastic for the children and the entertainment staff were very friendly and tried really hard to make sure the kids were entertained. A really enjoyable holiday with lots of useful facilities (laundrette, shop, bike hire etc). Every attraction on the Isle of Wight is close by if you want to go for a day out - brilliant!

It was an excellent break for myself, partner and 2 year old child. We had a brilliant time and the entertainment was great, along with the food and the clean accommodation.

Lovely site to stay on, very warm and welcoming. Good entertainment for both young and old. If wanting to leave the site there is plenty to do and only a short distance to drive.

Our caravan was very clean and near to all facilities on the park, the Team Stars were fab (Beanie, Luke & Flash). The beach is a short stroll away and the all weather pitch and adventure playground were great for the children and the nightlife is good for adults and especially the little ones.

The park was very clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. It was in easy travelling distance from all tourist attractions and we would go back again as the kids loved it.

Thorness Bay (Isle of Wight) was quite simply the best Holiday Park we have ever stayed at, the surroundings were perfect, the facilitys excellent and the staff and entertainment were second to none and the Isle of Wight was perfect.

Thorness Bay is an excellent caravan site. The complex has everything you need to have a fantastic break. Food was delicious and the people who worked there were friendly and very approachable. The Sparky Krew were brilliant with the kids. I would recommend this to any family looking for a fun, enjoyable holiday.

The staff team was the highest standard we've seen at a holiday park. Not having children with us it was wonderful to see the team encourage and entertain the youngsters from early in the morning to the Sparky Krew Klub Show every evening. They then went on to perform 7 different shows for the adults. Their standard made the visiting acts have to lift their game. Well done to the team.

Isle of Wight is a lovely destination for a holiday, my son loved the sports courts at Thorness Bay.

This is a lovely quiet family park with good overall evening entertainment for all ages.

Excellent value fun packed family holiday. Have booked with Hoseasons in the past but some years ago - was not disappointed. Every member of staff we came into contact with was friendly and helpful and the Entertainment staff were superb. Lots to do on site but also a perfect base to tour round the Isle of Wight and see the sights this beautiful Island has to offer. We've come away with a lot of happy memories and would definitely return. Thanks.

We loved the park with its open spaces and view of the sea. We could enjoy a drink on the terrace and still watch the children in your lovely activity park. The swimming pool was great too!

I would certainly recommend it as a beautifully placed park. Very scenic and an ideal base for seeing whole of the island. The entertainment is a well balanced mix from old to young!

It was a fabulous, very good value, incredibly child friendly holiday. 2 adults and 3 kids, including a 4 month old baby, and all was very easy and straight forward.

We stayed in Thorness Bay, in the Isle of Wight, The standard of accommodation was very high, the site was good with a good family vibe to it, ideal for families. The Isle of Wight has loads to offer also, which is fantastic but you would need your own transport to really take advantage of all the Isle has to offer. My kids want us to rebook already. ***** stars from us.

This was our very first caravanning experience and it was great. The park was good, the pool was excellent and the on-site shop was reasonably priced and stocked a wide range of products. The caravan itself had everything we needed and we would be happy to stay here again and would recommend it.

The park was friendly clean and provided good food and coffee ,also entertainment. It was lovely to be near the bay , I wish that I took my wellies to walk in . Lovely place for all the family , close to local attractions.

It is exactly as shown in the brochure. The location on the Isle of Wight is ideal for easy travelling around and there are plenty of walks available without needing to use your car.

This is an excellent base for exploring the Isle of Wight, and the park has excellent facilities. The swimming pool and the sports pitches were great, and you can sit on the outside bar terrace watching the kids playing, or go to the entertainment in the club. Having been on Hoseasons holidays at least once every year for the last 10 years, I would say this is probably the best park overall we have been on - many thanks!

The Isle of Wight is a lovely location and this site is an excellent choice on the isle. It has great views overlooking Thorness bay, and a nice nature trail around the site and play area are great for kids.

We as a family with children would recommend this holiday due to its good location on the island - Cowes 3 miles away, Newport 1 mile away and is very accessible and modern. Carisbrook Castle is 2 miles away, Osborne House is 4 miles away and Blackgang Chine is just 20 minutes by car. The location is excellent with lovely views of the Solent and the beach is lovely, quiet and safe for children.

Thorness is a lovely site with good facilities and friendly staff - the high end static caravans are spacious, well equipped, and of a high standard and the site itself is close to the beach - a good base for visiting the rest of the Island.
