 If you want a quiet away from it all holiday in beautiful surroundings then this is the place for you. Our cabin was wonderful for a lovely romantic off - season break. So cosy and intimate. The hotel at the boating marina, great for a drink and a meal, was within easy walking distance.

These lodges are set in an idyllic location off Loch Shuna. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and any stresses very quickly melt away. There is plenty of wildlife to see in the area including seals and lots to keep ornothologists happy. The local shop is packed with everything you need. A must take holiday to get away from the hum drum of city life!

My husband and I have travelled all over the world, but this week at Loch Shuna was the most romantic and relaxing break we have ever had. We can't wait to return to this special piece of Scotland -thank you so much!

As I lay in my comfortable four poster bed having just stepped from my private sauna (having showered first of course) the embers of the log fire dancing in the moonlight, listening to the waves lapping gently against the yachts moored in the marina, the sighs of the wind in the trees merging with the contented breathing of my companion, the taste of alcohol Ginger beer still on my tongue, basking in the triumph of my victory at scrabble, having returned earlier from the friendly local pub I couldn't help but think how clever I was to book a holiday lodge at Loch Shuna through Hoseasons.

It's a great location and facilities such as dishwasher, log fire, sauna and Jacuzzi bath are fantastic.

The accommodation was excellent, and if you want a secluded, private, time for yourself and partner holiday then this is for you. I recommend the fresh oysters they were delicious!

These lodges are perfect and very secluded with fantastic amenities - we had an amazing honeymoon here. The scenery is beautiful, very relaxing and cosy, we would love to go back - highly recommended!

This was one of the best holidays we have ever had! The log cabin was so warm and cosy that although it has a wood burner you are not forced to use it for heat (even when it is -4 as it was when we were there in January 2010), although its lovely to sit by. The electricity being included made it good value for money as the log cabin was cosy and warm at all times. Very dog friendly as the owners also have dogs, and the log cabin is so well furnished that you can feel totally comfortable allowing the dogs to come and go, but the rugs and furniture are not at all tatty or "doggy" as some can be if they allow dogs. The sauna and hot tub operation were very simple.

Second time at this location and the landscape/location was enhanced on both occasions by the tranquillity, interest in the surroundings and great weather. Not easy for you to improve on that.

Our holiday at Loch Shuna Lodges was probably among the best holiday we have ever had. The lodge was very comfortable and homely, the surroundings beautiful and the hot tub out of this world. We only went for one week and have already provisionally booked for two weeks next year.

We woke up the first morning and felt like we were in our own little Christmas cottage from the front of a Christmas card, and spent every night in awe of the beauty both inside and outside. It was so peaceful and tranquil - heaven!

We spent 4 days in this wonderful setting and couldn't find a fault. The lodge was fantastically equipped, very clean and like a home from home. The hot tub was out of this world and the setting was to die for - I dont know many places in the world as lovely! The local pub was very friendly with good beer and food. We didn't want to come home and will be returning again!!!

What a fantastic holiday! A great place to spend the Christmas holiday. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful log cabin and hot tub was a real treat! Owners friendly, and welcoming to pets. Plenty to do in the surrounding area but much closed for Christmas, would love to return and see it in the summer.

Having just returned today from a 4 night stay at Loch Schuna, and I felt I had to write a review on this excellent accommodation. This has been the best holiday in this country I have had, and I will be back for sure. The location was perfect, being on your own little island and yet close enough for a night stroll over to the pub for a couple of drinks and then a stroll back past the marina. I just want to say so much about this place but I also want to keep it a secret for my own selfish reasons. I would recommend it without a doubt and can't praise this location for a relaxing recharge of the batteries enough!

Amazing location; excellent lodge which was well equipped and very clean. Perfect for relaxing and getting away from it all... if you don't like to be remote, it's not for you though there is a lovely pub just a few minutes walk away.

The accommodation is excellent and in a beautiful location in the Highlands. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in a quiet rural location or is into walking. There is also lots of historical landmarks and local culture within easy reach, I cannot recommend this location enough.

This is a beautiful location, perfect in fact. there are plenty of places to visit and things to see. The log cabin is well equipped, comfortable and a home from home. We recommend a boat trip from the marina with Duncan (Farsian Boats) if you want to see some wonderful wildlife. The local pub is within walking distance and has great food.
