What a holiday! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the Hadrian comfort lodge (the basic one) had a better equipped kitchen than what I have at home. There were plenty of tracks to explore and the scenery was breath taking. My teenage boys had a great time and didn't pine for their computer once. I will definitely be returning and staying in one of the log cabins.

The location is absolutely gorgeous, the lodges are luxurious, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, and there is loads to do, from mountain biking to swimming to crazy golf to walking and bird watching. We loved it and we will be back!

We are repeat customers with Hoseasons because we know we can rely on the quality of the whole package without too much research and checking on our part. Kielder Water is well up to the usual high standards we have come to expect. The helpfulness and friendly attitude of the reception staff in particular was outstanding - sorry didn't get his name. He was so good even my husband would ask for his help and advice and he couldn't do enough for us - even checking that a pub we were going to was open for food to avoid a wasted journey for us.

Beautiful setting for a peaceful holiday. Fantastic for children and dogs, plenty of parks to keep the children amused and loads of walks for the dog. Lodges are lovely with everything you need for your stay. The pool and sauna are a bonus. Friendly staff, we had a lovely weekend there, would definitely book again.

A fantastic location to get away from it all and enjoy a relaxing time in one of the UK's most scenic areas, for those who want to expend some energy fantastic mountain biking is on your door step.

Relaxing location, very good lodge, great for the outdoor enthusiast.

The accommodation at Kielder Lodges was very very clean, the kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate and for the money we were very pleased. Obviously the setting is spectacular as well and we loved the hide to watch the red squirrels.

Lovely relaxing site with plenty of facilities all within walking distance of the lodges. Easy to reach different parts of the lake either by boat, bike or walking.

Lovely clean site, relaxing, very peaceful if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

For a complete get away from it break this is the place to go. It's in a lovely quiet setting (in the winter months at least which is when we went), with spectacular views. Set in one of the more remote areas of England you can easily unwind within minutes, however if you want to be more active there are excellent opportunities to go mountain biking, walking or nature watching, all on your doorstep as well!

Probably the best holiday my wife and I have had!

I would certainly recommend Kielder Lodges. The lodges are spacious, clean and the kitchens are well equipped. Plenty of places to walk with or without a dog, and good for bird lovers as the chaffinch are very friendly and will eat from your hand - a great short break!

We had a fabulously relaxing weekend break. Everything was perfect - accommodation, staff, facilities, food, even the weather! We can't wait to go back! Better than Center Parcs!!

Thanks for a very peaceful, relaxing and happy stay at this park. Our expectations were exceeded from the moment we arrived until we left! All of the staff, both at the park and at the other sites around Kielder Water were more than helpful, and were only too happy to take the time to answer our many questions and to offer other suggestions for entertainment. We would recommend this park to anyone - with or without children - so, if you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy the great outdoors, then this could be the holiday for you!

An excellent, peaceful holiday.

The whole area is extremely beautiful and I would definitely recommend this as a base for exploring the area.

What a fantastic 3 days we had and next time will be for longer as there is still loads for us to see and do. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and the lodge we stayed in was wonderful, could not fault it at all. Also NO slot machines thank goodness. I would highly recommend Kielder Water Lodges as you can have the best of both worlds peaceful and relaxing or active, the choice is yours.

Fabulous place to stay. It was the best Hoseasons lodge park we have ever stayed in, clean, tidy and very peaceful. Our lodge had a lovely view of the water.

What a fantastic place! The lodges are beautiful and very tastefully decorated with fabulous views. The food at the restaurant was excellent and there is lots to do should you choose to. We had a fantastic valentines weekend and we will definitely be back.

Great holiday, quiet family break, would go back again.

Had a great time, kitchen had everything we needed. Will come back again as there was something for everyone, my two sons hired bikes, my father went fishing, and we all had a night at the observatory which was the highlight of our stay (worth booking in advance of your trip) Would recommend the lodges to anyone especially early and late session as midgies are not around.

This is the first time we have tried a log cabin and it was lovely. If you are into to walking or cycling, like the peace and quiet, this is the place for you. It was very tranquil and fitted the bill for us. There was a lovely pub approximately 5 miles drive but not much else to do which suited us fine. We took 2 dogs which had a wonderful time being off the lead. All the paths are off the road so the dogs ran free all week. The lodge was wonderful with the best view of the lake (lake view is a must) highly recommended.

Beautiful scenery, very peaceful and alot of wildlife.

Staying at Kielder Lodges was a lovely experience. The staff were very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. The cabin was immaculate and well furnished with all the mod cons. There was so much to do and see, and had my children been younger there were some great play parks. My boys who are 17 and 25 enjoyed the swimming pool and of course the fishing. We took some scenic walks with our border terrier, and took in the tranquility of the surroundings. In the evening we enjoyed the hospitality of the restaurant and bar. We would definitely return.

This is a beautiful site, well-maintained with very clean and excellent quality accommodation. We booked the Redesdale Lodge, which was the cheapest, but still felt like we were spoilt! The staff are really friendly and helpful, and although the pool is small, the girls really enjoyed it. The sauna was an added bonus. There's plenty things to see and do, and the area is especially good for mountain biking and walking. The Bird of Prey Centre, Kielder Castle and the lovely village of Falside were highlights. We had a lovely, relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting.

The area is a place of beauty and the place to come for peace and quiet.

I have already recommended this holiday to our in-laws who love country walks and observing wildlife. Everyone should experience the vast beauty of this place at least once in their life!

Perfect for a quiet get away, just remember to take lots of food as the nearest supermarket is an hour away. Excellent for walkers and there was so much to see and do. We will definitely be going back as we loved it very much.

Kielder Water Forest Park is a must for all ages and all abilities. The perfect setting to chill-out and/or challenge yourself.

Fantastic location. The Lakeside Way is fantastic for cycling and can be accessed straight from your accommodation.

A great chance to get back to nature and get away from the crowds. We were delighted by the very warm welcome and helpfulness of local people. The site was ideal for children with the use of the swimming pool, entertainment at the Lakeside restaurant, mini golf and the Lakeside trail. We also enjoyed visiting the sculptures dotted around the lake and the canoeing run by the Calvert Trust.

This is a very relaxing environment although there are just the right amount of activities if you wish to get involved. Play areas for the children were many and varied - our children loved them all!

Kielder Forest can be a totally relaxing experience or as energetic as you like, its entirely up to the indiviudal. For me, its a great way of spending quality time with family and friends, away from the hustle and bustle of the working week.

The lodges at Kielder Water could not be faulted. The staff were more than very good, they were superb and so very friendly and cheerful. The location is just perfect - we have returned home refreshed and will definitely return there. Feeling uptight? this is the place to go to - the stresses of everyday life just melt away as you listen to the gentle lapping water, the singing of the birds and the rustling of the wind in the pine trees. Good facilities all round the lake without being commercialised. So good to see so many youngsters being active and healthy - and with their parents - not a bored, petulant expression in sight.

A real get away from it all place in a stunning location and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We could have stayed for a month and still found new things to do!

This place is fantastic. We will be going back. The accommodation was great. We all truly loved this place and the staff really went out of their way to help, especially Mick who worked the night shift.

I would recommend this holiday to any family who enjoys walks, cycling and sightseeing. The lodges were large and well equipped, to coin a phrase 'home from home'.

A superb short break, made even better since the building of the Lakeside Way - a multi use track around the perimeter of Kielder Water.

We had a fantastic time at Kielder and couldn't have asked for a better location or accommodation. We will no doubt stay at Kielder again in the future.

We have already recommended the Kielder Lodges to friends. Another family with young children visited us and were really impressed with the accommodation and facilities. The car-park pass was a real help and was valid at all the other locations around the lake. This was really helpful as my husband has trouble with his knees and found that he could take the car down the hill to reception and the shop without having to worry about parking fees. The people in reception were excellent and very helpful when asking about fun things to do or when we were worried about our 9-month-old grand-daughter who was unwell. The pay phone in the lodge was a good idea as there wasn't any mobile signal! We did discover that there was a good signal from the shore-line at Leaplish and also from the area around Tower Knowe.

What an excellent location - no mobile phone reception which meant a holiday of none interruption. The sights are magnificent and the whole area is so peaceful.

I can recommend this holiday for anyone... whether on your own or part of a group or family.. there is something for everyone. Incredibly versatile.. Most of us lead busy lives with all that brings.. Kielder offers us the chance to unwind in a welcoming atmosphere of peace and tranquillity...

Truly the most amazing place in England, a cyclists paradise! The log cabins are very luxurious, we will return next year!

The park landscaping was well kept and clean and the reception and security staff were very helpful and friendly.

Kielder Water is just fantastic. We stayed for a week with our children who loved the area and facilities available. I cannot recommend this location and accommodation enough, just lovely. The cabins have everything you could need and there is so much to do, we will definitely be returning.

The fabulous Bird of Prey Centre was fantastic, and we wish we were there for the Winter Wonderland festivities. Beautiful surroundings, lots to see and do and the lodge was terrific!

We went to Kielder last year for a 4 day weekend & loved it so much we decided to go back for a week this year. Everyone is so welcoming & helpful, it's like going to stay with beloved relatives. We are already planning on making it an annual family holiday.

Extremely helpful staff. Tuition on activities was excellent (well done Aaron!) The site was very peaceful and clean. Our 10 year old son had 'an introduction to Falconry' which was superb.

In comparison to other holiday companies who's website and brochures fall well short in quality and hygiene, this is the real deal. Top quality accommodation, super facilities, excellent hygiene, friendly staff and a fantastic location with breath taking views. We are already looking forward to next years holiday!

This break was for my 50th birthday and it was fabulous - the weather, site staff, and Ray and Raymond at the bird of prey centre were so pleasant with a hands on experience with the birds. Waking up in the morning to a fantastic sunrise, and about 20 finches on our balcony with us when we were sat there. I would recommend this park for every age as there is so much to do and see.

A good relaxing holiday for all the family. My teenage son was blown away with the bike trails and it was so good to see my husband and son bonding on the trails and enjoying the great outdoors, while me and my twin girls chilled and enjoyed the fabulous views and lovely accommodation.

What a beautiful location! Kielder is like it's own little world! We stayed for a week but wish we had two! The lodge's setting is lovely - we had the lake view one side and the forest the other. Stunning.

Very realaxing, we saw 5 red squirels, and yes its true, the birds really do eat out your hand - it was like a Disney movie with the rabbits in the back round!! Beautiful surroundings, value for money and a great place to relax and get away from it all.

The lodges were first class with all the facilities we needed. The scenery was jaw droppingly beautiful, and the walking and cycling tracks were great with hidden art gems along the way. I would recommend a visit to the Bird of Prey Centre.

If you love nature this is a great place to be, people take a lot of care of the animals living there.

The mountain biking was absolutely amazing. I booked our holiday for my husbands 40th birthday and because of the landscape and biking trails he would recommend the park to anyone interested in mountain biking. Our 7 year old loved it too.

The accommodation and the location were superb. Plenty of things to do and see. No traffic jams and plenty of fresh air and wildlife.

The food in the on site restaurant was amazing with very good home cooked food - I must have gained 10lbs !

For beautiful scenery and outdoor pursuits, to suit all levels of activity there is nowhere better. The ferry ride is educational as well as giving sight of views from a different aspect.

The location of Kielder is second to none. It was a part of the country we have never been to before and we were amazed by all the local attractions and Kielder Water itself. We would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family and would love to go again.

We arrived to the warmest of welcomes and couldn't have asked for a better short break. We relaxed and chilled out with a wonderful view of Kielder Water from our lodge and took part in an archery lesson and water walking. A good time was had by all and we were sad to leave. We would recommend the site especially if you want to escape the rest of the world and experience peace and quiet. A time to take stock of life, to enjoy the breathtaking views and the beautiful forest. Be aware you need to be prepared for no immediate access to shops, banks or petrol station but if you are forewarned you can ensure you plan for this. It is a place to relax, to enjoy the outdoors, finish the day off with a swim and let the rest of the world go by.

This is the perfect place to get away from it all. Beautiful countryside, fabulous views, comfortable accommodation (I slept better there than at home!) and just very very relaxing. There are so many great walks you could go back year after year (which we do!!) plus you can easily nip up into Scotland and enjoy the scenery there. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city then this is the place for you. No mobile reception either, fantastic!!!!

Space and quiet - a luxury!

Very relaxing holiday. This site had shop, restaurant and bar as well as a swimming pool. These facilities were not available on other sites at Kielder.

We had a great holiday at Kielder Water. The views were stunning, the lodge was clean and well equipped, and the staff were all friendly and very helpful. Peaceful too. We will be back.

An excellent short break enjoyed by 3 generations. A spacious yet warm lodge, very relaxing and peaceful yet enough to keep the children busy, all staff were very hospitable and good facilities to dine out on site.

Fresh air, calming waters, searing sunsets and a 'deafening' silence. A perfect setting for a hideaway holiday.

I loved this holiday. We wanted a relaxing break in the country but with a bit more luxury than camping offers, and we were not disappointed. The accommodation was superb and fully stocked with everything we needed including a fully fitted kitchen. It was lovely to take the dog with us so he could enjoy the holiday too. I would recommend this holiday to anyone wanting a nice chill out holiday. Lovely

A beautiful interior!

What a beautiful tranquil location with plenty of trails on the doorstep. Nicely laid out cabins with enough privacy between them and not too many. Good facilities around the site without them being too commercial. Did not want to leave!

The parks facilities were excellent and the staff were very friendly, helpful and informative.

The lodges are so comfortable that we even mentioned that we could live in one. It was so peaceful and relaxing, the staff were so friendly and helpful.

We found the holiday sooooo relaxing and in beautiful surroundings, it was one of the few times my wife said she didn't want to go home.

A lovely experience, very scenic. A very relaxing time, saw lots of wildlife... including many birds and the Osprey and Red Squirrels. The Double bed in the Otterstone Executive was very comfortable. Would definitely go again.

A beautiful location and excellent accommodation. It was relaxing for parents but energetic, stimulating and fun for the kids. The park staff were extremeley helpful and always smiling and the on site bird of prey centre was marvellous. All the staff at the centre were extremley knowledgable, and they talked and involved our children to make it one of the best afternoons we had!

I would recommend this park to everyone I see. The area and the park are first class, and if you like wildlife then this is the place you need to be - deers, squirrel, birds and rabbits etc, you can sit outside your cabin all day and just watch them. The walk around the lake is relaxing as you have no hills and can walk at your own pace. The restaurant is first class and very good value for money - we will certainly be going back!

A wonderful holiday where all the family can enjoy the beauty of the landscape. TV suddenly becomes unimportant and the activities available are maximised. The luxury of family meals out are pleasurable as prices are not over inflated.

Kielder Water is lovely, we had an eight year old, a four year old and a dog and all had plenty to keep them entertained. It is peaceful, clean and teaches children the importance of looking after our environment for wildlife and being healthy and active without forcing it on them and whilst they're having fun.

If you want a peaceful holiday in the middle of a forest by a lake, but still retaining the luxuries of home, this is the place to go.

An excellent venue to get away from it all. Park up your car and come back to it a week later. Ideal for families who like to be busy in the outdoors.

Kielder is a fantastic park!

I have visited the park twice now and it was a great experience both times. The staff are very helpful, the accommodation is very clean and it was a completely relaxing experience!

Safe for children and plenty to do but also peaceful. The wildlife is wonderful, 3 deer stopped in our path one evening, and my girls spent an hour every morning sat on the grass outside the cabin tempting the many birds with morsels of bread. We cycled to Kielder Castle one day, stopping to look at the art in the forest and we ate homemade food at reasonable prices in the castle grounds at lunchtime.

An excellent holiday with great facilities for families to enjoy. The accomodation was of a very high standard and the park staff were very helpful. The park was also very dog friendly.

The scenery is stunning and there is a lot to do just around the water side without going anywhere else in what is the most beautiful county in England.

Kielder is a great holiday location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Great for cyclists and walkers. Food on site good. We also ate out at 2 lovely pubs nearby...The Blackcock and The Pheasant at Falstone....Food very good at both. My daughter loved the bird of prey centre and swimming pool on site. We chose this location because we wanted to bring our dog on holiday with us....I don't believe we could have done any better....A great holiday experience made all the better by friendly staff who were extremely helpful.

The staff at the park could not have been any more helpful and friendly. The children loved the pool, playground and we all enjoyed the lovely walks. We had a great weekend break and will definitely be looking to return again this year.

This is the fourth time that I have been to this camp and have always found it to be relaxing. It is a beautiful setting with lots of walking and biking trails for all types of levels. All the trails are well sign posted so they are easy to follow. The snow this year enhanced the Winter Wonderland theme and made the place even more magical. The sites and sounds first thing in the morning were breath-taking.

If you want to escape from it all the Kielder is the place to visit. Fabulous scenery, lots to entertain the children and at the same time educating them in the natural world. Alnwick Castle and gardens are also worth a visit - we can't wait to return!

I would recommend this site to friends and family on the basis that the fishing fee was included and we did not have the pay the daily rate for fishing on the full days of our stay. I would stay at other parks if this was also the case.

A remote and beautiful location, not densily populated with lodges or tourists. Vast amount of activities to entertain the children and th on site facilities are excellent with designated activities to amuse the children. Very good and reasonably priced public house on site.

A beautiful park in an unspoilt and fantastic location.

The park was brilliant, and the lodge was really clean and furnished excellently. The staff were all really helpful and friendly!

We use this facility every year because of the free fishing package you get with the company. This year 2 walkers came with our party and we used the boat to ferry them across the reservoir then they walked half of the reservoir one day and half the next day as Kielder is approximately a 27 mile walk all the way round this was ideal for them. We will all be back next year. The lodges are immaculate the staff are very helpful & the location is the best in England.

The position of the park was brilliant - the lakeside path has really added to the experience.

The mountain biking was absolutely amazing! I booked our holiday for my husbands 40th birthday and because of the landscape and biking trails he would recommend the park to anyone interested in mountain biking - our 7 year old loved it too!

Everything scored 10/10. The place was magical, and even though it did rain slightly we had a fantastic time and would recommend it to all ages. The cabins were perfect and were like a home for home. The only bad bit about the break was that we had to leave! This holiday has ranked up with the best of them!!! Perfect for taking the kids and we would definitely recommend taking the ferry.

We found our holiday very quiet and peaceful, the area is quite large so you don't feel crowded. We loved the birds and animals, we saw red and roe deer, red squirrels, and were fortunate to see the Ospreys that are nesting there for the first time in 200 years, and many other wild birds.

This is our fourth time at this park and we will be coming back as it is very relaxing, has fantastic accommodation and the wildlife is in abundance. The facilities on site are great but you must love the outdoors to get the most out of this holiday.

This is a fantastic place for walking, cycling and water sport. We went with our dog and with 26 miles of shoreline we didn't get bored. I would definitely recommend this place, the lodges were very comfortable and in a great location at Kielder.

A very pleasant location, lots of wildlife to see, very clean and comfortable accommodation and great facilities. We could not have asked for more!

We had a Tynedale Classic lodge and found it to be very spacious with both a shower room and a family bathroom which had a spa bath which the children loved, and a well equipped kitchen. You must visit the Kielder Bird of Prey Centre as the demonstrations enable you to join in - altogether a very relaxing time was had by all of us!

We had a fantastic stay at Kielder, and would recommend Leaplish to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty of opportunities to enjoy outdoor pursuits without the huge crowds you tend to find in beautiful country locations. We can not praise the service we recieved from the reception staff enough - they helped us from the start, right to the finish of our stay. Another recommendation would be the bird of prey centre on site. The workers there were very knowledgeable and took pride in their centre.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Leaplish, Keilder. It was greatly enjoyed by our nineteen month old daughter and we all enjoyed all of the available facilities. We couldn't recommend the holiday highly enough - thank you!

This resort is a bit of a hidden secret - quiet, peaceful and yet plenty to do locally (30mins drive), or on site.

Beautiful woodland setting, spotless accommodation with everything you could need.Peace and quiet and the refreshing smell of pine trees, bliss! I would thoroughly recommend it.Just don't forget the bird seed.The chaffinches come come so close that you have to take a few steps back to get a photo!

This is a lovely site and fantastic for families. The Lake has beautiful trails all the way round (uncrowded) which lead to the various visitor sites, these trails in the main through Keilder Forest are fantastic for bike riding or walking and are suited to all abilities. I hadn't been on a bike for many years and managed a few miles during the break much to the amusement of my children (age 12 and 7) but it was good to beable to do something as a family. I would recommend this if you have been thinking about getting back on a bike its a brilliant way to get back in to it in a safe and beautiful environment.

It's such a beautiful location, absolutely stunning, with good, new activities and visitor centres in the area. The nature on the doorstep is exceptional; I saw wildlife I've never seen anywhere else before (including a snake!) The bird of prey centre was excellent, lots of time handling the birds which I didn't expect and the staff were lovely, knowledge and passionate about the subject and clearly care a great deal about what they do. Very special.

Kielder Water Lodges are perfectly situated, whether you want tranquility, leisurely walks or bike rides, or for the more adventurous, the miles of mountain bike routes - all a stones throw away from the lodges. Perfect!

Fantastic setting... extremely peaceful. Waterside walks are brilliant... great paths suitable for all walkers/cyclists... and the works of art were great attractions to go and see along the way. Accommodation was brilliant... again peaceful and furnished very well.

The setting and view from our log cabin was wonderful, a very peaceful, enjoyable few days away. We also loved the tracks for dog walking straight from our door.

Absolutley recommended. We have been to Kielder that many times we have lost count! It is a wonderful location for walking, star gazing at the observatory, relaxing and so forth. The staff at reception are fabulous, in particular John and Tracey. The accommodation is outstanding, spacious, and very clean, and there is everything on site: a restaurant for fabulous food and entertainment, shop, swimming pool, DVD library, information, a park and actitivies.

Kielder is a brillant place to stay with lots of activities on the doorstop, also great cycling!

We have stayed at Leaplish Lodges many times now and feel that it is an excellent holiday for us as a family with our dogs. So much open spaces to explore.

Great place, pretty, very quiet and remote but has all you need. Good pub, good food, friendly staff, clean modern lodges, excellent for mountain biking. Pool was lovely not too cold. Shop not stocked like a supermarket but has all the essentials and more. Kids play area looked very new and was brilliant. Ps don't go if you can't live without a mobile phone for a few days as no signal!

an excellent park, well looked after and cared for. The service was excellent, and the lodge had been updated with new furniture within the 2 years of our last visit. Walks around Kielder on well laid out footpaths with varied distances and new footpaths were made since last visit. Though the park appeared to be fully occupied it was quiet and peaceful.

Kielder Water is a fantastic site for those looking for peace and relaxation in a stunning location. Very family friendly, and perfect for those looking for a holiday that connects them with the outdoors. Our three children loved going out on their bikes and on the ferry that connects the visitor centers around the reservoir, whilst the on site facilities were safe enough for them to enjoy without too much supervision - the great play area small pool being a definite favourites.

Fabulous lodges in a beautiful setting with lots to do. The walks are amazing and many are family-friendly. My five and eight-year olds loved the Kielder Keepsake walk on the Bull Crag Peninsula. Northumberland is a beautiful county. We didn't want to leave!

This holiday location is great for getting away from it all. The scenery is breathtaking and don't think you can beat it for wildlife. Be prepared to drive to alot of places though. Make sure you take your bike and a good pair of walking shoes!

A stunning and peaceful location with just the right number of lodges nicely spaced out. A real get away from it all yet not too far to drive for all the interesting local attractions, such as Hadrian's Wall, Alnwick Castle (a must for Harry Potter fans) and for those of us from more rural locations the opportunity to visit Europes largest shopping centre, Newcastle's Metro Centre. Then if you add in the opportunities to ramble, cycle and sail, there's something for everyone!

Can't recommend this site enough, third year we have been here. Lodges are clean and comfortable. Park is peaceful with lots of walks, great for dog lovers!! Cycle paths are well laid out and cater for all abilities. Can't wait to go back.

There is something for everyone at Kielder, we took our bikes and enjoyed the whole 27 miles around the dam, and the 11 mile walk the next day.

From the start of the holiday we were made to feel very welcome and the staff had plenty of knowledge and suggestions of where to go and what to do. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them and other holiday parks could certainly learn from this. Leaplish was the perfect setting for a relaxing short break in a wonderful scenic setting. Standard lodge was very modern, spacious and comfortable. Have recommended this to friends and family of all ages, couples and families with children. Will certainly come back again.

We have returned to Kielder Lodges four times now, and every time we come back, we are never failed to be impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the staff. If visiting, you must take the time to visit the Birds of Prey centre. The owner is a truly wonderful person. He and his staffs ability to put children at ease with these amazing birds is incredible. Our visits are always informative, educational, and engaging, and we cannot wait to return.

Glorious countryside.

A great way to unwind from everyday stress! So peaceful, but plenty for the teenagers to do, cycling, walking, canoeing, climbing etc. A great holiday for the whole family to enjoy.

The park was really quiet and peaceful but there was still plenty for the children to do.

After self catering abroad (twice per year for 15 years) we have now discovered a vastly superior facility in EVERY respect, much closer to home. If "assured sun" is not the only essential, then this holiday beats the lot of them HANDS DOWN!

The holiday was great, the lodge was great but there is a need for better choices of venues for evening meals. one night most of the close by facilities were all closed or closed early; the one we did find had a very limited menue choice. One could easily get the feeling that these facilities are run for the benefits of the staff etc rather than the holiday maker! However once again the holiday site was all we expected and we would certainly recomend it to others and visit ourselves again. Thank You
