The location and surroundings of the park were fantastic. It was not overly large like some parks can be - small enough for groups of children to make friends and go exploring together. It was also a good base for going walking and for trips to other areas. We did have the added benefit of good weather, which can really make a difference. Overall it was a great holiday!

A family holiday park which is small, safe and peaceful. White Cross Bay is nestled in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of a Lake Windermere. It is ideally placed to explore the many attractions and places of interest in Cumbria.

A fantastic week - very relaxing. The caravan was like a home from home - everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Loved the quiet and the on-site Marina is delightful. We've stayed twice and will definitely return.

I had problems processing payment on the website as the page seemed to freeze. As I did not know whether payment had been taken I telephoned your reservation service. They were excellent and quickly resolved the issue.

The holiday park itself was very well managed and clean and tidy everywhere with beautifully maintained grounds. The staff were great and you could always have a laugh with them particularly on the reception desk.

Whitecross bay was a lovely setting exactly midway between Ambleside and Bowness. The site was exceptionally well maintained with lovely flowers and well kept grass. The caravan was well equipped clean and comfortable with a great shower. Overall we felt the site was more suitable for adults which suited us fine as we didnt take any children and we would definitely return to this site again.

I would recommend White Cross Bay to anyone. It is ideally located to travel round the Lakes and is excellent for all ages and has something for everyone to do. The restaurant is excellent value for money and the staff are very friendley and helpful. I have no complaints at all - well worth a visit.

Fabulous location, right on the lake, excellent if you have a boat. Caravan was clean, had central heating, and plenty big enough to manage the 5 adults staying the weekend. A quiet site when we were there (20-24 May) but bar, gym and pool on site if you feel the need :)

Lovely lodges in welcoming surroundings, very clean site. Bowness lodge area is very peaceful. Ideal location for Lake Windermere, Ambleside, Kendal and Bowness-on-Windermere. The Club House food was excellent. The pool was great for the little ones and was open all day til 8pm. We will definitely return without a doubt!

The White Cross Bay holiday park was very family friendly with a nice bar and restaurant on site. All areas were very clean and the pool facilities were ideal with family changing rooms available. The caravans were spotlessly clean with a picnic table outside for outdoor dining. The park is in easy driving distance from Bowness and Windermere with plenty of things to do with the kids. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Second time of staying in a lodge in the last year at a Hoseasons site. Would highly recommend this type of holiday as the lodges have everything in them for a real comfortable break.

The park was absolutely brilliant! It is ideally situated in between Windermere and Ambleside which is perfect for exploring the area. We booked a lodge for four people and got one to sleep 6 which was amazing. The lodges are spacious and the park is so quiet and peaceful. There is everything there to make a perfect, relaxing and extremely enjoyable holiday. I can't wait to go back!

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time, the 6 year old twins totally enjoyed themselves and made knew friends very quickly as the site was secure and they were able to ride there bikes without any fear or apprehension from us. The pool is just the right size and depth for the kids and the changing area was always warm. The site was easy to find and the staff could not do enough to help. The site was very clean and well planned out, the children loved exploring the woods and the location of the site was very convenient for travelling out to other areas of the Lakes. As you can see we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The location of this site is very good and in general facilities at the site centre were above average, well maintained grounds, clean and tidy. The restaurant was better than expected and food very good. The bar provided comfortable accommodation and was well run.

It's a fantastic camp site, the overall first impression was 'WOW'. The whole site is sooooo well maintained, the spring flowers were blooming and each lodge and caravan looked well looked after. We travelled from Northern Ireland and was so pleased to be able to relax in such a friendly and welcoming site. It is in a fab area close to so many towns and villages and yet far enough away so your not in the hustle and bustle of every day life. Our children loved the freedom of going in to the woods and playing Man Hunt, one of their favourite games. My sister who lives in Lancashire came to visit and could not believe we had found such a beautiful place, and yet she had never seen or heard of it before, she is now thinking of booking a holiday later in the year for her family. Overall we had a fabulous stay and would go there again, thank you to every one who made our stay a lovely one, Mrs Sherryl King.

White Cross Bay is superbly located to visit many Lake District visitor attractions. The Lake Windermere lakeside location is a huge bonus. With excellent quality on-site facilities and comfortable accommodation we were more than happy with our stay.

Fantastic holiday, it was our first time visiting the Lakes it was our honeymoon and I will never forget it, we had snow and everything. The lodge is the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. Thank you so much for giving us the icing on the cake after our wedding day, loved every minute, can't wait to come back.

The Park is conveniently situated between Windermere and Ambleside and is value for money, has a well maintained Park with a relaxed atmosphere. These are just a few of the reasons why we keep going back for that well deserved break at White Cross Bay Leisure Park.

We enjoyed our holiday as it had all the facilities in the lodge we needed, especially since we had a young baby and could come and go at our leisure instead of stuck to hotel time for eating etc.

We could not believe our eyes on entering the site, very clean and well kept, and the views were to die for! But the best part was yet to come, the log cabin that we stayed in was brand-new. It was large and very spacious, although there were two of us, I do think that a family of four would still have plenty of room to enjoy the comforts of a relaxing holiday. We would highly recommend a short or long stay, will be staying there again!

The location, in between Ambleside and Bowness, was a fabulous base for our walking holiday. The caravan was very clean, well maintained and central heated! Always a bonus!! I would recommend this site for anyone who loves the Lake District and needs a safe environment for younger children.

White Cross Bay accommodation is of a very high standard throughout and is beautifully set among trees and mature flowering shrubbery, with lots of very tame wildlife. The grounds are expertly maintained and all the staff are helpful and friendly. It is an excellent location for many walks and for the ferries at Bowness and Ambleside. We have visited many locations throughout the UK but were so impressed on our first day that we are considering purchasing a holiday home there.
