An excellent quiet location,for people wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday with beautiful country walks and scenery. The park itself is very well set out and very clean and tidy and very well maintained. The caravan accommodation is of an excellent standard, and is the best I have stayed in, all in all an excellent holiday.

The accommodation was of the highest standard with parking next to the caravan. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, but a trip to the nearest supermarket was essential.

I would definitely recommend this site to other people, the accommodation was excellent value for money, whenever I've gone to other sites & paid more money for the upgrades etc. with this site there was no need. The staff were very nice & helpful, the food in the bar was excellent & not over priced either, lovely walks around the area. Will definitely be booking there again.

I thought that the accommodation was excellent, location great to get around the surrounding area and the staff again very friendly. Park and walks to keep the children entertained.

I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff who were always happy to help, the caravan was of a very high standard and luxurious.

Our fourth visit to Cockerham Sands and the caravans this time were even better than the last time we stayed - I would rate them as some of the best we have ever stayed at without having to pay enormous upgrade costs, as with some sites. Lovely site, very friendly people/staff, and the on-site entertainment was as ever really good. Whether you go with friends or as a family there is something for everyone.

A beautiful and clean park and a well equipped caravan - a home from home!

I would recommend this holiday for anyone who enjoys quiet, good views and walking. Bird watchers would especially find this enjoyable with a good set of binoculars. The play park was good for the children.

Great accommodation, its large, clean and has everything you need for a short or a long stay.

We went Mon-Fri myself my husband and 2 dogs, normally you get an alright caravan, because of the dogs, the van was lovely, best one we've stayed in and brill for walking dogs. Lovely clean site.

We were very impressed with the caravan and park. It was nice and quiet, just how we like it - we will visit again.

It is a very relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings lovely and clean the staff are very pleasant and helpful, the caravans are really good and the facilities in the caravan are excellent, I couldn't fault it this is the second year we have been.

The caravan was up to date with all the equipment needed. Very spacious accommodation and the standard of the accommodation is top notch. The facilities are typical of a small holiday park which suited our needs. Excellent re-furbished pub (Natterjacks) and caters for all needs with the separate Cabaret Bar with the usual holiday park entertainment aimed at all ages. Excellent all round.

The accommodation was excellent and the staff were very friendly an excellent holiday park for adults but not very much on site for children. Would definately go again if it was just me and my partner.

Cockerham Sands is a very quiet peaceful site which is just as my wife and I like it. This was our third visit and will certainly not be the last. A very well kept site with wonderful views of the estuary. We strongly recommend this site to like minded people who wish to "get away from it all."We have been holidaying with Hoseasons for many years and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Would most definitely recommend the holiday we had to Cockerham Sands, caravan was spotless, staff were very friendly and helpful, onsite club was brilliant and so was the food, also a mention for the couple that run the shop it was a pleasure to go in there they were really friendly.

The park is in a very nice, quiet and secluded area. The caravan was very nice and spacious and all the staff were very pleasant and friendly.

We have been here twice before and love the spotlessly clean accommodation. We also like the small touches of complimentary tea bags and coffee sachets. Although the location is very rural and you need a car ,there are plenty of large towns and places near by to explore and activities to do. The countryside is pretty and a great place to relax and get away from it all.

Lovely park and the accommodation is excellent. Good facilities and on-site club is really friendly with good entertainment programme.

If you want a quiet park then this is the place to go. The staff were so efficient and helpful - no complaints at all!

The perfect site 'to get away from it all', clean and modern caravans, good facilities - car essential to make the most of the area - perfect break!

If you have children and the weather, this is the place to go. My children, twins aged 4, loved the swimming pool, also on the beech looking for crabs, lots of fresh air. No queuing at airports and children getting fed up, my children didn't want to come home. I will be going again in the summer school holidays.

This was a clean, friendly and ideal park to take a holiday at. Wonderful accommodation and friendly staff, everything that is needed for a relaxing break was provided.

It was our second wedding anniversary and we booked holiday only for four days. I have to say this the caravan was gorgeous and very clean, plus you do get little garden next to your caravan and a little car parking place. We would love to put some chair and table in the garden and have some breakfast, but couldn't do it thanks to rainy weather.:( Went to pub twice it was very quiet because we were there in March) To cut a long story short we loved our little break. Only one thing you need to bear in mind the road is a bit narrow just be careful when you drive. Other than that it is a lovely caravan park.

This park was one of the best we had been on. We could have not been more happy with the staff who were very welcoming as soon as we arrived, and during the whole of our holiday!

This is the 5th time we have visited this park, its wonderful for peace and relaxation and good dog walks. Children loved the outdoor pool just what we needed to cool off. Only 1 hour away from Blackpool and Lake District too. We will be booking again caravans lovely!

I love it here. So peaceful, and you don't see a soul on the sea front

The caravan was amazing and very near to the entertainment. We found the entertainment catered really well for all age groups. The facilities in the club house were very good and the cleanliness of the whole park was fab. The only downside was the long country road to the park, however, the park makes it worth it so not all that bad.

We were given a very warm welcome on arrival and found the atmosphere very friendly. The accommodation was excellent - the best we have ever stayed in by far on this type of site.

Excellent centre to visit the Lakes, Pennines and Blackpool and a huge variety of other places to visit.

I would have no hesitation in reccomending this paticular site to any one, first class accommodation, very helpful staff and first class facilities.

An excellent coastal retreat, peaceful setting with a nice modern feel to the place. Been to this accommodation before and will certainly be returning again.

Fantastic, quiet site with very friendly and helpful staff. Although the site feels quite remote, it is actually very well placed for visiting Northern Lancashire which is packed with things to do! Thoroughly recommended.

I would highly recommend this holiday as it is very clean, the other holiday makers and the staff are friendly. The caravan was clean and homely, it's a good value for money site, even if you don't drive the taxi prices are very reasonable and the scenery and walks are beautiful and quiet.

I would recommend Cockerham Sands Caravan Park to all age groups but especially those with children as I felt that my grandchildren were perfectly safe due to the position of site. Thank you for a wonderful week and I know I will be coming back again.

The location is off the beaten track which gave it a great sense of security as far as children are concerned.

This is an excellent site, with very welcoming staff in reception, bar and club including owners and guests. The caravan we was allocated, I can honestly say was the best we have ever stayed in, if it was not new then it was very well maintained, so clean spotless. A nice touch was complimentary coffee, sugar and milk which you normally only get in hotels. The meals in the bar are not overpriced as in most site bars, they are also very good and the landlord (chef) and landlady were very welcoming. We took our 4yr old granddaughter with us and she enjoyed herself, although the weather was not the best we were able to spend days out and about. As the site is a little "out of the way" which is a good thing, the use of a car is preferable. Myself and my wife will be booking another long weekend very soon once our "abroad holiday" in July is over. Anybody looking for a really good relaxing break would do well to visit here, excellent.

A quiet and rural setting but central to Blackpool and the Lake District - excellent value!

Although a remote site there are many interesting places to visit and enjoyable walks to take straight out of your front door. For bird watchers it is ideal with many waders feeding along the foreshore especially as the tide comes in. We had a wonderful week's holiday here and looking forward to our next break to explore more of this rich expanse of coastline.

A small, welcoming, friendly site which is excellent value for money in a stunning location. We drove through beautiful countryside to find the site tucked away on Lancashire's fabulous coastline. Despite being quiet my three little children found plenty to do, from the playground to the pool and nearby Blackpool and Morecambe. We also enjoyed a day out in the Lakes. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful holiday and can't wait to come back.

We have just arrived back from Cockerham Sands where we stayed for 4 days. It is an excellent park, the staff are very helpful and so friendly, and the club house is superb. The caravan was spotless and really well maintained, and the park was well kept and so clean. We would like to thank Joanne for all her help and we hope to see you again next year!

Lovely site, with just enough to do for the kids, without it being too commercialised. Caravan was immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. A real home from home, this is the best caravan we have ever stayed in by some distance. Central Heating during our stay in April was a real bonus.

A fantastic break away and an excellent base for biking/walking/seaside holidays as it is centrally located to all needs and requirements. Superb for families or couples, old or young alike.

It was very central to all areas of Blackpool one way, and the Lake District to the other. Brilliant, the caravan was fab and we would go again.

We had a really good time at this park, and the caravan was brand new, an excellent surprise! The park was well maintained, clean and tidy, and the situation is peaceful, by the coast. The bar and restaurant area are newly refurbished, very nice, and it was great to have the childrens room, and the childrens disco and movie night were a welcomed bonus! Lovely surrounding area with lots to see and do. We would definitely recommend this park, and I would recommend an ice-cream from the Wallings of Cockerham shop, just down the main road too!

It was a good base for Lancaster, we visited the town twice and had two lovely days.

A very nice park, a lovely peaceful location ,and every member of staff was very helpful and friendly.

Its a perfect base to explore the area with Morcambe, Lancaster and the lakes all being just 30 minutes away by car. You feel a million miles away from anywhere on the park.

This is the second time we have stayed at this park fabulous accomodation and wonderful clean quiet well looked after park with some lovely views,we will be booking to return.

The park is small so you feel that the children are safe and everywhere is clean and tidy, the caravan was clean and comfortable and warm in the evenings.

We had a brilliant holiday here, very quiet and it feels like it is in the middle of nowhere, which is great! We had a lot of long walks with the dog, and we had a four year old child with us too and he really enjoyed it. The park was very clean and tidy, and all the staff were very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here and will definitely be coming again.

The year old caravans are superb and you can move the single beds together for extra room if they aren't all taken up! Lovely friendly helpful staff and apart from no shaving point (bring an adapter) we cannot fault this park!!

Cockerham Sands was a lovely park in a beautiful setting. It was peaceful but, in the evening, there was plenty of entertainment aimed at all members of the family, from grandparents to children.

The accommodation was first class!

I thought this was an excellent park, and it was exactly what we wanted it to be. A nice few quiet days, but enough amenities should you need to do something. Plus, a good location to visit nearby attractions. I am a travel agent and will definitely recommend this property, and will go again!

A beautiful, secluded and naturistic park, great for relaxing and close enough to Porthmadog and Snowdonia.

We have just come back from this wonderful little hide away, the caravan was very clean and modern, the central heating really made a difference. The site shop was fine for basics but i'd try and bring most of your essentials with you as finding a shop can be quite tricky! The pub was great and not to pricey either, we had food there and that was fine for pub food, we had a fab time and i'm certain we'll be back for more total relaxation very soon, thanks for having us.

A very welcoming reception and friendly staff on our stay, fantastic food at the club and good value for money. We had a superb new caravan with all that anyone could ask for, and it is ideal as a base to travel to Blackpool, Morcombe or Lancaster.

A wonderful park - clean and well kept. The caravan was out of this world and far exceeded our expectations. The people were very friendly and helpful and the food in the bar was out of this world, we've never had better, and we would go there just for a meal! I can't emphasise enough how nice they all were, particulary the bar manager and chef!!! Our only complaint was the weather and NOBODY could do anything about that. We WILL be returning!

I would recommend this holiday to others because it was quiet and relaxing. There is a good size play area/pool for the kids and a quiet pub for the adults, I would definitely go back.

The staff at Cockerham Sands are terrific!!! Nothing was too much trouble for them when my husband became seriously ill - all stops were pulled out to help me and extend my stay.

We enjoyed our holiday at this park. It was a good location for visiting nearby attractions such as Blackpool. The caravan was lovely and the food in the restaurant/bar was good and reasonably priced. The holiday price was also cheaper than other caravan parks. I would book with Hoseseason again.

What a find!! We stayed in a thirlmere. We thought it was new but apparently it was an " old " one. Our housekeeper Lisa came to see if our accommodation was ok, a lovely touch! Spotless and welcoming the best we have stayed in

I have recommended you to lots of friends who have gone on and had holidays with you, as you are good value for money, and the staff are very helpful.

This park would be ideal to recommend for birdwatching, being along the Lune Estuary and Lancashire Coastal Path, also near to the Lake District and Fleetwood we saw lots of migratory birds.

We all loved the holiday, it was relaxing, great for walking which I loved and the children also loved the play areas and the children's disco. We loved it that much we are coming back!

If you want a holiday thats peaceful, on a beautiful park and with plenty of walking and views around then go to Cockerham Sands. The park was excellent and the bar and restarant were excellent - oh and dont forget the food thats served in the bar. It has got very easy access to Blackpool, Fleetwood and the Lakes. An absolutely fabulous time was had by us this year and we look forward to returning again - thank you for a brilliant holiday!

It was a lovely site, with access to the beach/estuary and rock pools which was great fun.

We love this park! On our last visit they held an 'almost St Patricks Day' Irish night which was great fun. Since we discovered this park we now come four or five times a year. The staff treat us like one of the family and are great with our son who has a learning disability.

It is near to Morcambe, Lakes and Blackpool. It is a lovely site not too noisy, also a good view over the bay.

The caravan was spotless, the clubhouse had lovely food.

The holiday park is in a quiet location which is good if you don't want a noisy holiday and I would recommend this park to anyone, but yes, you do need a car to get out and about.

I can honestly say that nothing fell short of excellent, we will definitely book with Hoseasons in the future.

A lovely park - we like its location and good walks, and it is not far from Morcambe and Blackpool. We were very impressed with the accommodation and nice staff.

Well away from stress and strains but close enough to drive to interesting places for a visit. Out in the open with friendly staff and other site visitors making you very welcome. Food in bar was value for money.

This site was great, the basic caravan we booked was well above basic standard and lovely and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a fantastic break and would definitely recommend this site, we will be booking again.

The park was clean and tidy, the caravan that we stayed in was very clean tidy well laid out and comfortable, the park staff were polite helpful and very easy to talk to as were the locals.

Would definitely recommend for those who are seeking a nice quiet break. Would best suit people who like to walk because there are many different places and routes to go.

The holiday was just what I wanted being a single dad bringing my 3 boys I felt they were safe and there was just enough to keep them occupied.

The sheer class of the site lends itself to affordable luxury whilst engendering an environmentally friendly experience.

We love this park, we love the space of the beaches and the peace and quiet. After several years trying different parks we intend to come back here regularly!

We used this park for the dog show at Blackpool and found the location very good for the dogs (kept in van), only 30 - 40 mins from the venue and from Blackpool itself about the same. This is a very well kept site with very friendly staff, there is a shop onsite (not expensive) like other sites we have visited. 4 Star recommend.

The park was situated in a quiet and idyllic setting perfect for a relaxing break and within easy dristance of Blackpool, the Lakes and many other towns of interest and attractions.

The park is set in a peaceful, rural location which makes it ideal for relaxing, but near enough to reach Blackpool and other cities in the area. The park has all you need if you do not wish to leave.

This is a perfect park for people who enjoy walking and for peace and quiet during the day. We had two teenagers in our party who thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the area, even though they are normally bored without their gadgets and computers.

The staff when we got there were very helpful and very frendyly. You are right in the middle for everywere to go site seeing. It was nice to go back to a quiet site I would recommend it.

The accomodation was good . The caravan was very nice with all facilities. It was a central location for visiting the nearby beaches. The manageress of the park was very friendly and more than helpful.

This is a great place to get away from it all, lovely coastal walks and also good for birdwatchers(not what we went for, but we did see a few local birdwatchers) Ideally you need to have a car to get around, and just a short drive into Lancaster, where there's an Asda and Sainsbury's. We spent the day in Kendal and Windermere which were easy to get to. We took the dog and he loved the walks there! Stayed in a Langdale caravan which was superb. we went as 4 adults and there was plenty of space.

A lovely surprise awaits you at the end of the three mile road to this camp. A beautifully refurbished bar with a cosy wood burning stove, wonderful staff and decent pub food menu, reasonably priced. Definitely on the quiet side but just what you would expect in March. Caravan was amazing! Spotless and even had an en-suite to main bedroom. The lady in reception could not help enough with advice on places worth a visit. White Scar Caves in the Dales well worth the drive but you have to be reasonably fit. The shop was very reasonable compared with some on site shops at other sites and again incredibly helpful and friendly. At just over ?100, this four day break was an amazing bargain. Will be booking for the high season next time to take advantage of the pool!

An haven away from all the hustle and bustle of home life. Beautiful scenery and plenty of facilities for a nice relaxing holiday. Children loved the outdoor pool and play area.

We loved the location! It was well out the way so felt like u were in nowhere land but at the same time it was near to Lancaster centre and very close to the hospital which we needed for our youngest son medical needs. It was good to access places around like Blackpool etc. and the site itself was great too 'n' everyone was friendly with plenty to do!

The caravan was excellent, clean & spacious. The food available on site was very good value for money. The location of the site was convenient for trips to Blackpool and surrounding areas.

This is a very beautiful, friendly site, the caravans are very well fitted and modern with plenty of space. The staff are 1st class. There is a newly refurbished bar which serves lovely food, very welcoming. Really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return and recommend to others.

We were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our accommodation was excellent. Every home comfort was there. Our teenagers made good use the clubhouse snooker tables and table tennis. We travelled out to the Dales, Lake Windermere, Blackpool, Preston and Manchester, all great days out. The peaceful walks were breathtaking. Highly recommended for those who want to explore the beauty of the North!

This was fantsctic, really good indoor and outdoor areas for kids. Right but the sea-not suitable for swimming but great for collecting stones, playing and walking. Very close to Blackpool and the lakes. Recommend the baked potatoes from the resturant-amazing and such great value. Clean and a lovely site. Thanks so much. x

Would definitely go again, it is a great base for exploring the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales and it is the middle of beautiful countryside with the sea not too far away.

A very welcoming park and terrific value - Cockerham Sands have got it just right!

1st Hoseasons holiday and 1st holiday with my dog & new puppy. This was a brilliant holiday - had a great time & the dogs loved it!!! The food in the bar was good & the staff were friendly! Brilliant value for money - just booked our 3rd Hoseasons holiday today for the Easter break!!!

I think perhaps a children's club would be an idea, whilst I appreciate that a great number of carvans are owned and lived in. I think it would encourage the children to meet up.

The new bar was fantastic and fittings to a very high standard. We stayed in a brand new caravan with central heating for 4 days. It was excellent value for money.

It was a lovely welcome from the staff and they were very helpful and polite. Clean caravan as well as site which was maintained to a high standard. Well worth it.

The caravan was lovely, clean and modern. Little things like the tea & coffee and the washing up equipment were a lovely surprise. We usually go to Haven but will definitely book with Hoeseasons again next year.

Yes I would recommend this holiday it is a great base for seeing all different villages and main destinations like the lakes, Morecambe Bay, which has a great park for children. This is the first time we have visited Lancashire and would certainly come again there are a lot of little hidden gems here.

The outdoor pool was great, the site was very child friendly and the caravans were lovely also good value for money.

My family and myself enjoyed a good holiday there.

Have already recommended to others! Ideally situated, close to Blackpool but away from the hustle and bustle of it. All caravans looked to be a very high standard - we look forward to booking again for next year.

This is an excellent park, ideal for visiting nearby areas, relaxing and great food.

I would recommend it but we were lucky enough to find a caravan for sale at the farm further along which we have purchased, it is such a beautiful area

The caravan was fantastic, I could quite easily move in, it was like a mini home and had everything you needed. It was also very spacious and really clean - we were really pleased. Also the park was lovely and clean and the staff were really friendly - we will most certainly will be going back.

Cockerham sands is quite isolated but is excellant for anyone wanting a holiday of this kind (like us!) As a bird watcher and nature lover the park had everything one could ask for, and is in an excellant location with outstanding views across the bay.

A nice, well kept park, and the caravan was very clean.

Enjoyed a delicious meal in the club house, chef was excellent. Enjoyed the quiz night, it was good fun even though we came last. Beach is almost on the site it's that close. Had lovely time. Thank you.

I would and already have recommended this holiday park/caravan as it was a fantastic experience and couldn't fault anything. Everyone was so friendly and the club was lovely with delicious food available. More recommended to go in high season if you are travelling with children. We can't wait to go again. Excellent.

I would recommend the caravan it was very clean and very roomy the park was very good near beach and helpfull people, we asked about local walks in area and they had leaflets about walks well impressed with everything.

Fantastic park for relaxing, lovely coastal walks and scenery gorgeous but not too far by car if you want to travel to Morecombe.

This was our rirst time visit to this park and we have already booked to go back. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday then this is the place to be. The accommodation is first class and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

This park is very clean and perfect for the family as I have a 2 year old and we felt very safe during the weekend, couldn't have wanted any more from the site.

A good clean park, lovely location, caravan well maintained and clean and neat interior. Even somewhere to tie your dog while you shopped. A small thought but a godsend for dog owners. Staff very friendly and pleasant. Tried to book same van for a fishing holiday in September. Unfortunately all booked up !!!!! Ideal dog walking country, he enjoyed it too by the way !!!!!

Its location is good but you need a car Lake District one way and Blackpool the other and Yorkshire Dales inland good value for money.

Great for any age lovely clean accommodation, pool fenced off for safety, good kids play area, definitely go again.

My son and I love it here. We love the peace and quiet and the shore line is endlessly fascinating. The park is so cared for by the people and every one says 'goodmorning'!

Hi Just back from Cockerham Sands and had a fantastic holiday. We stayed in a Coniston Caravan which was brand new, it was stunning and the fact that there was double glazing and central heating was a huge added bonus. The views were stunning and will definitely be back again.

This is a lovely place the people are really friendly and we were made to feel really welcome. The facilities are excellent and the staff keen to help. All in all a great place to stay with Lancaster less than half an hour away

This park is excellent value for money and has superb accommodation.

I have already recommended this holiday to family and friends, and it is my second visit! I would just like to point out that the staff are fantastic! I have special dietry requirements which they were kind enough to stick with, even after hours when it should have been fast food only! Excellent standard of accommodation, overall fantastic holiday!

This park is fairly out of the way, but ideal if you want a quiet family break with lots of great walks and scenery, and there is enough on site to keep you occupied both day aand night. We have visited twice and have never been disappointed - we can thoroughly recommend it!

It is the ideal place. Situated between Blackpool and Windermere (30 to 40 minutes to each). We love it here, have been many times and feel part of the family.

The park was out of the way and not overly large so you felt secure, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The holiday was a great success down to having a very pleasant and clean place to stay - it also meant that we were happy to cook and spend time in the caravan relaxing, instead of trying to avoid it as I have done on previous holidays.

I came to Cockerham Sands Holiday Park and had a pre-conceived idea of the standard of holiday which awaited us due to the price. To my very pleasant surprise, you had surpassed all my expectations. At last someone who has used common sense and made an information pack with everything we needed to know. A classic example of how the small things make a difference. Go and try this site for yourself, you won't be disappointed!!!

We have used Hoseasons on a number of occasions and we have never been disappointed. We must comment on the standard of the accommodation, especially the quality of the new static caravans at Cockerham Sands and the outstanding furnishings with en-suite. Through our experience, we would highly recommend Hoseasons Holidays, especially for dog lovers who like to treat (the kids) to a holiday!! We will most definitely be booking again.

I love it here and keep going back. Its so close to the sea and so quiet - very restful!
