This site is ideal for a complete "get away" It is in an excellent rural location but only a short distance from the sea. The accommodation is spotless and houses every utensil needed. The facilities i.e. hot tub and sauna allow a super relaxing experience whatever the weather.

We spent our honeymoon in a lodge with a private hot tub. We have never known peace and relaxation like it, it was exquisite. We felt so relaxed and rejuvenated after our break, the hot tub is a must!!!!!

Since we have been back off our honeymoon I have told everyone I see to go on to the web site and have a look. I told them it was absolutely fantastic, why because it was private and secluded and amazing and I just wish we could go back very soon.

Excellent central location offering easy access to Aldeborough, Southwold. Walberswick etc. Many interesting local walks - ie the ruins of Leiston Abbey being accessible across open fields no more than a mile away. Lots to do for kids and families - Africa Alive wildlife park in Lowestoft; the great beach, the pier and powerboat trips at Southwold; living history at Sutton Hoo, Aldeborough, Saxmundham etc; the more natural charms of Minsmere, Dunwich and Walberswick. There are also great reatsaurants within easy reach - the highly rated Lighthouse in Aldeborough, The Swan, The Crown and Tilly's in Southwold, The Bell in Walberswick and The Crown in Westleton all no more than 15 minutes by car; these and many more lovely local watering holes offer an irresistable opportunity to sample the wares of the fabulous Adnams brewery at Southwold.

A great place to visit and relax. Reviewing the visitors book shows that a large proportion of clients are repeat bookings (ourselves included), which says it all. The welcome is friendly, the lodge is immaculate and the sauna and hot tub are soooo relaxing!

Quiet location and a small site. High standard of accommodation and facilities within the lodge - personal hot tub and sauna. Centrally located for visiting Southwold, Aldeburgh, Snape and many other places and a perfect base for walking.

We would wholeheartedly recommend this park. We took our grandchildren and they enjoyed every minute of it, the feeling of being in the middle of the Suffolk countryside amongst the birds and wildlife. Plenty of walks away from roads and traffic, with Minsmere, Southwold and Snape maltings within easy reach (by car) makes it an ideal location for a relaxing break.

Very relaxing, just what we needed to get away from all the daily stresses and spend some time together, excellent accommodation, very clean and well-equipped. Hot-tub was a real treat, also sauna, spa bath, lots of romantic luxuries. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely quiet site, no facilities, no children running around being noisy! Just the sound of the birds. Secluded and private, a definite escape. Can't wait to return!

If you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of work and town life then Abbey View Lodges is certainly the place. Very comfortable lodges in beautiful surroundings, and after a day out visiting many of the idyllic places, get back and chill in the hot tub followed by a sauna. Fantastic.

Fantastic, peaceful, well-equipped lodge. Easy access by car to Southwold, Aldeburgh, Walberswick, Dunwich etc. Lots of walks, including those that can start at the lodges. Can walk to Minsmere and Sizewell beach easily. Loads of good places to eat within a short drive. Walkable pubs in Leiston and Eastbridge (Eeels Foot Inn good on a Thursday night for musicians). Huge bathroom and out-of-this-world outside hot tub - fantastic after returning from a long walk or admiring the stars with a bottle of bubbly! If you like peace, independence and comfort, highly recommended.

We had a fantastic relaxing stay in the Sanderling lodge. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub and the sauna were lovely luxuries! Just what we needed for a relaxing get away! Will definitely go back again! Only a few minutes to the coast, very close to Thorp Ness and Southwold for coastal visits. Highly recommended.

Our lodge at Abbey View was comfortable, clean, homely, well equipped but with that extra bit of luxury included - perfect for our family holiday. Also, as the lodges are well spaced from each other and have their own secluded terrace area they provided privacy for everyone. We felt very relaxed there and really enjoyed our stay.

I would recommend Abbey View, infact I have already! We loved it in the hot tub, with glass of wine - its the perfect setting for a romantic weekend. The Woodpecker Lodge location is great!

This is a small but very good site set in tranquil Suffolk countryside with lots of walks available and only a few miles from the coast. The nearby seaside towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh are unspoilt and very worth a visit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, but unobtrusive in the way they maintained the site and the hot tubs. Lots of history and sites to visit as well as fantastic countryside and coastline.
