This holiday destination is a very tranquil and peacefull setting and ideal for all family types the accommodation is 5 star and located within easy reach of shops and towns.

We stayed in Bluebell Lodge, Bulworthy, North Devon. The lodge is set in woodland, tucked away and very peaceful. Ideally situated to explore the surrounding area and beautiful coast of North Devon and also so quiet to be able to spend evenings relaxing in the hot tub surrounded by trees and wildlife or having a BBQ. We will definitely be booking here again!

I found this park out of the blue whilst looking on the net, and I am glad I did as it is gorgeous. A super view, great lodges, the kids loved it and so did we. A very relaxing few days and we have already booked up for next year - 10/10 !

Peaceful and quiet and the log cabin is lovely, very spacious and clean and the hot tub added a touch of luxury.

If you want to get away from the rat race Bulworthy is the ideal place. Peaceful, quiet and relaxing. An abundance of wildlife literally on your doorstep.

This holiday was a home from home, the accommodation was of a high rating and very well equipped. I would say that it is a peace and quite setting and quite a romantic setting. If you want to be situated in total peace then this is your place!

Great place to stay, ideal if you want to get away from it all, very peaceful and quiet. Accommodation was excellent, clean and tidy. Would go there again.

Pleasantly remote, lots of wildlife especially pheasants. Sauna made a pleasant addition.

Ideal location, relaxing & peaceful environment but within easy driving distance for a lot of attractions. The standard of accommodation was very good, the cabin was clean and had all the mod con requirements. We had a wonderful time.

We think the location and its environment are excellent, and the accomodation itself is clean, comfortable, presentable and truly self-contained. We have been coming here for 3 years and yet again a perfect relaxing break away. These lodges are of the highest standard and have everything that you could ask for and more, the location is beautiful and so peaceful and you are just left alone to get on with it. We shall be booking for next year again and possibly for Christmas too x

These lodges are fantastically well equipped and in such a peaceful location it was a real pleasure to stay there. The fishing was perfect for our 15 year old and the lakes were well stocked. We would definitely go back.

If you want a touch of luxury away from the pace of modern life then Bulworthy Forest Lodges is a superb choice. Excellent accommodation in a splendid setting. It is well worth finding this gem off the beaten track.

The accommodation was very clean and well appointed, and the situation was lovely and secluded with plenty of space and privacy - we really enjoyed our stay!

Really quiet and idyllic even in November when it's pouring with rain!! Lodges were fantastic and great value for money.

The weather was really bad but it didn't ruin it one bit. The lodges were really nice, and the park was in some amazing grounds - plenty to do and I would definitely consider coming back.

The holiday was perfect for getting away from it all. I took my 2 adult lads with me and they loved spending time together fishing. It made for a real bonding holiday - a real change for us all instead of the usual boozy foriegn holiday. We should have done this years ago!

A great location for the absolute getaway - no noise, no traffic, remote and peaceful.

The lodge had everything you needed from towels/bedding to BBQ/utensils. The location in Bulworthy Forest was beautiful, quiet, yet only two and a half miles from Bideford and an ideal base for north Devon. Then to end the day in the hot tub.......simply wonderful for the grown-ups and the children!!! Would I recommend Bulworthy Forest Lodges....Most certainly!

The park is excellent, the fishing is very good, the lodge was fresh and clean and we were welcomed by the owner - one of the most peaceful holidays I have had!

Being Devon you are pretty central to most places, and its a very peaceful area. If you are a fisherman as I am, then you have free fishing on your door step - great!

A very relaxing holiday in superb surroundings, the hot tub and lodge were very clean and we would come again.

A great and relaxing break, and if you like coarse fishing its even better value as its free. Access to local towns is easy but not that easy to find, use the instructions however and you'll be rewarded with a lovely, relaxing time.

The lodge was excellent and very clean and peaceful. The hot tub was very enjoyable and our teenage children loved the fishing. We used the BBQ every night and we loved being in the woods, but we are outdoor people anyway so it suited all the family. We did feel however that some of the attractions in the area did not live up to expectations and were not good value for money. We had a very good holiday and would return again to Bulworthy Forest Lodges.

I would recommend this holiday to anyone who needs a peaceful break away from it all.

If you're looking for seclusion & solitude for a very peaceful/relaxing break, then this is it !....... We stayed in the Bluebell lodge which is situated at the highest point. We will definitely be booking this lodge again, its superb location & covered hot tub made it a fantastic holiday.

Bulworthy Forest Lodges were an excellent break away. Fantastic location and overall surroundings were amazing. We stayed in the Chestnut Lodge with the covered hot tub which again was fantastic!! Barnstable is a short drive away (10mins max) and Woolacombe and Ilfracombe were no more than 25 min drive. The people that own the Bulworthy Forest Lodges were so helpful throughout our stay. Always willing to help and very attentive. Hot tub was checked and maintained every single day which was great. Well worth the money and will definitely be returning again next year and hoping to make it a yearly event. Thank you to everyone!!

We have just returned home from a fantastic four day break at Bulworthy Forest Lodges, we stayed in The Chestnut Lodge and our friends had the Larches, we had a wonderful time. The lodges are fully equipped with everything you need, very clean and tidy and all the bed linen and towels smelt lovely. The overall setting was just beautiful, so quiet and peaceful - we had seven children in our party and they were never short of things to do. The great hot tub was used every day, just perfect - we will be booking again for next year, 6 stars!

This holiday park is very good.

I would recommend this park for people who want to get away from everything and have a relaxing holiday, but it would also be good for people with kids as there is plenty of things for them to do just a few miles drive away.

Just stayed at 'Bluebell' and had a fabulous holiday. The hot tub is covered with its own building that makes it very secluded. The water was checked every day and the fella that checked it was very nice. The setting is ideal with woodland all around, although in some parts the hills are very steep. The lodge is large with 3 spacious bedrooms and plenty of living space, very clean and well presented. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. We had 2 great meals at the Hunters Inn in Newton Tracey which was a 5 minute drive away and we can't recommend it highly enough, very reasonably priced for good quality food and service. You do need to drive or cycle everywhere though as the closest places to visit were beyond walking distance, although that didn't spoil our holiday at all because everywhere we wanted to visit including the seaside towns of Westwood Ho & Instow were all close by in the car. All in all we would highly recommend Bluebell.

Fantastic location within short drive, cycle or walk to Bideford although the lanes approaching are very tight and care should be taken. Cabins immaculate and clean including bedding and towels. Everything that you require to make your stay a pleasant one, Peaceful, calming and relaxing. Tarka trail can be accessed from nearby Bideford which also has good facilities. Take a break, experience the laid back life style and take time out. You won't regret it!

It is a great location in the middle of nowhere to get away from the hustle and bustle of the towns/cities and just relax in the woods in your private hot tub. Can't wait to go back next year.

Great for families. My children aged 3 and 7 had a great time and loved the freedom and independance that Bulworthy Forest Lodges gave them, plus we were near great days out to the coast and family attractions.

Complete peace, a warm lodge and very well equipped and not too far to lovely seaside towns and good supermarkets.

The Bulworthy Forest lodges are a perfect relaxing getaway. I stayed in the very spacious and well equipped Larches and it was spotlessly clean, first impressions were very good.We all walked in the woods, fished and spent time in the hot tubs.If you want to escape for a few days this is the place to go. I will be back next year!!

Had a great holiday. We wanted a quiet first family holiday with our 3 month old. At our request, they prepared the lodge a little earlier for our arrival and although they didn't need to, a member of staff popped round to check everything was ok.

Friendly, welcoming and we completely relaxed for the whole week. The hot tub was great and well maintained. This is a great holiday to escape and unwind. The owner provided us with our own Christmas tree cut fresh from the forest and although we were snowed in they were on hand to help with shopping etc. Plenty of wildlife to keep you amused with squirrels and birds tapping on the patio door for breakfast!

Our visit to Bulworthy Lodges was excellent, we couldn't have asked for more. As long as you have a car to get around then there is loads to see, then when you get back to your lodge you have peace and quiet, with beautiful scenery - and a hot tub to help you to relax! The accommodation was brilliant, the facilities were excellent and it was very clean.

The location and site were fantastic and had a great holiday the only problem was we had to leave.

If you are looking for a secluded holiday to get away from a busy lifestyle then this would be the destination. Bulworthy Forest Lodges are in the middle of nowhere, and was perfect for our group.

The park was very secluded, which suited us fine, and was very peaceful. The lodge was very clean with all the basic amenities, it also had a washing machine which was fantastic. Our 2 boys loved the lake and seemed to develop a surprising amount of patience whilst fishing there, which was rewarded by catching several fish. The lodge is also situated within easy access to lots of great places to visit.

we went in aug this year 08 and had a fantastic time the park is very clean excellent for fishing and the the log cabin was very clean and spacious ideal for families of all ages.

Our lodge was beautiful and clean - it was surrounded by trees and ponds and was so peaceful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely, quiet getaway.

The lodges are in a beautiful location, and the perfect place to relax. The standard of accommodation was excellent, and I have already recommended it to two people. The gentleman who came to check the hot tub everyday was very helpful and gave us some useful tips of what to do locally. All in all the perfect lodge in a stunning location surrounded by beautiful countryside

This location is ideal if you have anglers in your party - some good size carp were caught on the main lake and this facility was very much enjoyed by the anglers in our family. It is a lovely location, very peaceful, the cabins are not all on top of each other and it provided very well for our needs.

We had a lovely, romantic trip away to celebrate our anniversary. The hot tub made it an extra special location. We felt that we had found a real hide-away from the rest of the world in such a secluded spot.

My friends and I had an amazing, relaxing weekend away. We went for long walks around the surrounding countryside, had BBQ's and sat outside admiring the stunning views. We will definitely return later in the year!

Don?t be disappointed with the size of the ponds upon arrival, the fishing is great.

Excellent cabins (the hot tubs are great) and the setting is very peaceful. Only a short 5 minute drive to Tesco which was a delight as it was never busy in there. Instow, Clovelly and other tourist attractions are just a short drive away. Would be happy and have recommended the place to a few people.

The log cabin was beautiful, an amazing setting in all weathers! The accommodation was just stunning, very very clean, and so comfortable. We did not want to leave.

Me and my family had a wonderful time a Bulworthy even though I was worried going to such a remote place with teenage sons and NO X Box !!.. But the location and walks were fantastic and the Hot tub was so relaxing at the end of the day. Very unspoilt and well kept. The lodge was spotless and very comfortable and far exceeded our expectations. We did lots of sightseeing but it was such a pleasure to get back to Bulworthy and just sit and chill, have a bbq, glass of wine and then a soak in the hot tub and watch the stars come out. We stayed in Oakapple and the elevated position was just perfect. Only problem we had was that we had not booked for longer!! But we will be back for sure!

Fantastic - what a relaxing holiday!

The lodge was beautiful, spacious and clean and the tranquil setting was absolute bliss, so peaceful. Sitting in the hot tub looking down at the lake you had a "Snow White" experience with the squirrels, blackbirds and wildlife all around you - absolute heaven!

The location was just right for us and very good value for money.

Fantastic!! Coming from a busy town, the quiet here was such a welcome treat - to be able to sit at night, listening to wind rustling the leaves, only overshadowed by the nearby waterfall and the occasional splash of a Carp in the lake. We arrived to find a pheasant crossing the road and up the slope right alongside our terrace, and the tiniest of baby frogs at the edge of the lake, which delighted the children! Within a couple of hours, we knew we'd want to come back again!!

What an idyllic setting - a lodge in a forest completely surrounded by trees. A truly fantastic base to expore North Devon and the whole family loved the peaceful and outstanding lodge - thank you.

A beautiful setting in beautiful location. We stayed for Christmas 2011 and wow!! Mistletoe on the doorstep, and a lovely Christmas tree with lights glistening in the lounge. Ideal for walks and relaxation. Extremely clean and it had everything you needed to cook a full Christmas lunch! The hot tub, of which was even checked by the owners on Christmas day, made the holiday that little bit extra. Wish we had of booked for two weeks, the most memorable Christmas ever, thank you Bulworthy and team, will recommend!

We have just returned from Bulworthy Forest and stayed in the Honeysuckle Lodge. The accommodation was great and the surrounding area was beautiful and tranquil. All round relaxing holiday would recommend.

Bulsworthy Lodges are set in quiet, tranquil and beautiful surroundings. If you love nature in its most natural form you will enjoy watching the pheasants, squirrels, cows and sheep and enjoy fishing in the well stocked lakes. The lodges are clean and well equipped. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided which takes the stress out of bringing half of your home with you. We were fortunate to have a hot tub which was exhilarating to use whatever time of the day. There is even a supermarket only 10 mins away. Seaside towns either side of Alverdiscott are clean, offer great shopping and boasts many good restaurants.

If you like peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings then this holiday is for you - with seaside resorts not too far away it really has something for everyone. We loved every minute, and it went too quick!

We liked it as it was very quiet and peaceful and the children enjoyed the park itself. It is in an excellent location and not too far from many attractions and childrens parks in the area.

The cabins are spotless and have everything that you could need, we had a lovely relaxing peaceful holiday. We stayed in Acorn which is the last cabin up a very steep hill, it was as if there was only us in the forest, very quiet and peaceful. The location is lovely with fishing lakes at the bottom of the hill, and short country walks around the park. We would definitely recomend these cabins - roll on next year!

The setting of the park was so peaceful and relaxing, yet less than 10 minutes drive from the town of Bideford, and less than 30 minutes drive to coast and major attractions!

Great for an out of the way, quiet and tranquil holiday experience where you are left to your own devices whilst surrounded by nature.

This was a birthday treat that my husband had arranged for me. After discussions about where to take me i.e London, Blackpool, etc. I wanted to experience something I hadn't done before like staying in a Log Cabin, but I wanted specific things or being very awkward as my husband calls it!! First and most important Hot Tub, second must be secluded and in a Forest, so we could enjoy walks in total peace and beautiful surroundings. Plus must have a fully equipped kitchen and all the comforts of home, also another important point heating as I always feel cold!! What can I say this had everything I needed and more, lots more. So if you have a list of things like me, we would highly recommend Bulworthy Forest Lodges, and we will certainly be going back again even though it was a 5 hour journey for us- well worth it!!!!

The lodge was gorgeous, in a very private setting with a fanastic hot tub! A brilliant place if you want to get away from "the real world"

We had a wonderful 4 night stay here in the Bluebell and it was fab and quiet with fantastic views. There was plenty off wildlife (deers, squirrels and birds), and the kids loved it. We were impressed with quality of the accommodation, first class with everything you needed, and the hot tub was gorgeous. There is plenty to do around and about and we are definitely coming back soon!

A very quiet site set in lovely countryside with easy access to lots of attractions and interesting places. Very relaxing.

Bulworthy Forest Lodges are of exceptional standard. Fully equiped to high standard, outstanding position, and the owner was very welcoming. Highly recommended and I only wish he had a vacancy for the end of this month!!

Amazing setting, total tranquility. You need a car to get around, but that's the remoteness we were looking for. No shops, kids etc to break the silence. Only company being local wildlife in the forest. Perfect, will definitely return.

Fantastic park in gorgeous surroundings. Quiet and relaxing. All lodges look lovely, we stayed in the Chestnut with covered hot tub - it was so relaxing. Would recommend for a nice relaxing break away from hustle and bustle.

An absolutely fantastic holiday - we went for peace and relaxation and that is what we got! Sitting in the hot tub till 1 in the morning, in the middle of a forest looking at the stars - need I say more?

If you want peace and quiet away from it all, Bulworthy Forest is a must. The lodges are great and have lots of extras in the kitchen- pots, pans, dishes etc. This was our third time at Bulworthy Forest as it is so peaceful - I can't think of anything that could have improved our stay, I just look forward to going again!

Bulworthy Forest Lodges is set in a beautiful, remote location where you feel you're almost in another country, yet within a few miles there are shops for you to get anything you may need. The hot tub was fantastic and kept clean and the lodge was beautiful, homely and well maintained. There was a large amount of provided necessities including all cooking utensils, plates, cups, bedding and towels and BBQ with a seating area. There was a selection of lakes available for fishing and acres of woodland to explore. The staff and owner of the site where extremely friendly and helpful and this really added to the overall experience. I would recommend this location to anyone and would love to return again soon.

These lodges are absolutely fantastic. They are equipped with everything you could possibly want. We had a brilliant stay here. My husband really enjoyed the fishing and it was lovely to just relax in the peaceful surroundings. Would highly recommend it.

Bulworthy Forest is the ideal location if you are looking for complete peace and relaxation. It is off the beaten track but not far from the towns of Bideford and Barnstaple. Should be noted that some of the lodges are set high in the forest and the incline is very steep. We stayed in Bluebell Lodge which was high up in the forest, a very spacious lodge having 3 large bedrooms, two double (1 with ensuite) and 1 twin. The lodge was perfect for us as we were two couples holidaying together. The lodge was of a very high standard, very clean and well maintained, would definitely return and have no hesitation in recommending.

Relaxing, friendly peaceful people and place, I would have to visit again, first visit was just what we were looking for.

It was a gorgeous, peaceful location. Perfect for getting away from it all! And it was amazing to wake up to Bulworthy Forest right outside the lodge! Lots of wildlife - including squirrels coming right up to our patio! Highly recommended!!

A truly lovely holiday quiet and peaceful, lodge was spacious and clean, would recommend!

If you want good healthy fresh air, peace and tranquility or if you just want to use it as a base for seeing the wonderful coast of North Devon or the Moors this is the place to go! It is in the most beautiful setting, it is even relaxing in the rain...... and the fishing is pretty good too. It is well away from the 'rat race' and you sleep like a 'log' too in the snuggly cabin.

An extremely peaceful and secluded location but with easy access to all places of interest.

We stayed here for Christmas 2010, the lodges looked fantastic all covered in snow. The people of Bulworthy went over and above in checking everything and everyone was OK, even on Christmas day!! which I felt was really good considering the weather we experienced. I would truly recommend staying here as it's a wonderful experience, would love to go back.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights. Absolutely stunning location, very quiet and everything you need. Located centrally and not far from some of the most beautiful parts of Devon. Would definitely say here again.

Our lodge (Chestnut) was beautiful - an lovely and sunny elevated position overlooking the lake, very spacious, with a seperate fully covered hot tub which was idylic. The owner popped in to say hello and to check everything was OK - nice friendly man who obviously cares about his properties. The forest setting is so peaceful and feels very secluded. We had a wonderful time!!

Our stay at Foxglove at the Bulworthy lodges was great! I visited with my husband, and daughters aged 2 and 7 months. The lodges was beautiful and in an ideal location for nearby attractions and beaches. We plan to visit again next year!

Brilliant get away, peace and quiet, perfect!!

Excellent location for a quiet relaxing break but close enough to numerous North Devon attractions. Lodges maintained to an extremely high specification. This was our second visit and we hope to return in the not too distant future.

A wonderful park, very good accommodation and a good starting point to visit the area.

This type of holiday are for people who value peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. The lodges are well equipped and you be as self sufficient as you like. We used the washing machine and tumble dryer a couple of times and the microwave and cooker for heating up takeaways. The toaster was useful as was the free view TV (didn't watch it that much though). A couple of items would be useful extras to provide and they are, soap, washing up liquid, scourer.

This was our second visit to this park and we were not disappointed. Comfortable, well appointed lodges, pleasant woodland walks and easy access to Barnstable and Bideford - highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this fabulous lodge - we wanted an idyllic and tranquil getaway which is exactly what we got. There is plenty to see around, especially the coastal areas and we would definitely like to return.
