 We have just returned from a great holiday at Eastcott Lodges. The lodges are ideal if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday. We stayed in an Ashwater Lodge which was spacious and very clean. It was great value for money - we would definitely recommend it!

This place is idyllic, quiet and off the beaten track away from lively tourist areas but within easy reach of them for days out. We thoroughly enjoyed the comforts of the lodges and the owners were most welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. This holiday will suit all age groups as the local people are the friendliest around. The pub which is on site is ran and owned by a lovely gentleman called David who is informative about the local area and things that you can do whatever the weather.

The perfect location for escaping from City life....Fantastic beaches only 30 mins away coupled with the wonder of Dartmoor only 40-50 mins away meant that the TV remained off all week!! With no protesting from our 6 year old.

The lodges are situated to provide a perfect centre for reaching many attractions within a 40minute drive, be it Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor, Exmoor and the North Cornish coast. With so many pubs and gardens also allowing dogs we would highly recommend Eastcott Lodges to dog owners.

The lodges are set in beautiful countryside within easy reach of the Cornish coast. The accomodation is comfortable and well equipped. The staff on site were unbelievably helpful. An excellent base for a memorable family holiday.

Ideally situated with plenty of beautiful scenery and coastal paths to explore and there are amenities close by (i.e. Morrisons). Very good value for money, if you like peace and solitude in the evenings this is the place and it is very dog friendly.

We have booked holidays with other companies, who seem to think because you choose to own a dog, that you should live in a barn. And they offer you substandard accommodation. It's nice to know not that Eastcott Lodges recognises that not all dog owners are dirty slobs. Thank You!

I would recommend this holiday as the area was close to Bude and the coast, and has peace and quiet and lots of outdoor space. We had a lovely break and the lodges were well equipped.

We decided at the last minute we would like to take a short break with our dog, so we went to Eastcott Lodges and oh my word, it was tranquil and peaceful. I saw a deer on the first day and the lodges were beautiful. It had a masssive field for our doggie Abi to play in, she thought it was her birthday, and to top it off there is a farm next door with a barn converted into a pub, and the farmer who runs the pub treats you like an old friend. In future I will be going back there instead of abroad!

Everything was great, from the warm and friendly welcome we received as soon as we arrived, to the farewell on the last day. We were running late with departure, but were not hurried, or made to feel awkward. The family even gave us personal suggestions of places and beaches to visit during our stay. Thank you for a lovely time.

We love Eastcott Lodges, it is ideal for our dog and us because it is in a beautiful and peaceful location. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take their dog on holiday with them and also for anyone who just wants to get away and relax.

We have just arrived home from Eastcott Lodges and can honestly say it's been one of the best holidays we have ever had. We wanted peace and quite to recharge batteries and we certainly got that . On site is the Eastcott Arms owned by the farmer David, his knowledge of the local area and beyond is amazing, the locals are friendly. Will we be going back we most certainly will.

This was our second time at Eastcott Lodges. We stayed at the Woodlands Cottage which is huge and a perfect setting for families and couples to stay. It has its own paddock attached which was lovely to walk round, and The Eastcott Arms is just behind it and is very cosy with lovely locals to welcome you. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful giving us tips on the best places to visit. Bude is a lovely seaside town with plenty to explore, as is Holsworthy and Launceston. We are returning for a third holiday as it is everything a holiday should be!

This was a very quiet and relaxing holiday, ideal for dog owners, lots of walks and beaches that dogs are aloud on. Also good if you enjoy a little fun fishing with the kids all included in the price of holiday. We had a total chill out week despite our lack of a summer.

My partner and I were looking for a last minute, rushed, weekend away, where we could take the dog and relax away fromnormal life. From start to finish our experience was pleasant, it was simple and easy to book and completely stress free. On arrival it was exactly what we had wanted, well furnished accommodation set in wonderful surroundings and not too far away from town and city life if needed. We will be coming back here again and have already recommended it to others.

This was a great value for money holiday especially at New Year when things can be expensive. It's a very peaceful place, ideal if you want to get away from everything, the local town is 10/15 mins drive away. The accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed and the furniture, bathroom and kitchen was almost brand new. The owner was really helpful and very friendly, would definitely go back.

The setting for our holiday was fantastic; peace quiet and the sound of new born lambs were the only sounds to be heard. Beautiful country side and well worth the money. If you like the tranquil country side mixed with beaches and unspoilt coves then this is the place for you. The lodge had a tree house feel to it and you were almost sleeping in the branches of the trees. The birds in the morning were lovely when you awoke. Excellent loved the place. We all would love to book again.

I would recommend a visit to Eastcott Lodges, if you would like a quiet getaway, comfortable accommodation and lots of countryside. The site has just 12 lodges and a small pub which is extremely quiet and open from 7pm. There is also a lovely wooden play area on site. The nearest beach is Bude and about 12 miles away. A drive to Newquay is about an hour or so away. The site is lovely and peaceful and the lodges are well equipt. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend the site to others who would like a quiet break or are willing to drive. The contrast of the site when back from a busy day is so lovely and relaxing.

If you like peace and quiet where you are staying but with lots of places to see within easy travelling distance then Eastcott Lodges is the idyllic holiday location. Very friendly owners who made us all feel very welcome including our dog! The standard of accommodation was excellent and little touches like oven gloves, tea towel, toilet paper, and complimentary tea and coffee were very welcome. Will definitely consider going back.
