 Beautiful lodges at reasonable prices - sheer luxury!

The accommodation was superb. We enjoyed using the hot tub and totally relaxed on the weekend which was the purpose of the break. Beds were really comfortable and the lodge was spotless. The furniture was tasteful and the lodge was so warm, it was wonderful.

The park is excellently situated if you wish to visit London, but do not want to stay in the city itself. The cabins are very nicely furnished and the hot tub was heavenly after a long day sightseeing in London.

The Roydon Mill Park have some of the most comfortable and beautiful lodges i have stayed in, although needs a little more activities.

We enjoyed the lodge and the private garden, it was very welcoming and the lay out was very posh. Great being so close to the train into London and would have walked the canal and around lakeside if the weather had been dry. A break in the weather one evening meant we had a good time in the hot tub, which when the bushes grow a little will be very private.

I have been on several Hoseasons holidays and everyone has been brilliant. The d?cor is always lovely, and the lodges have always been clean. Roydon Mill is a lovely setting, and is only 30 minutes away from London so its so easy to suit the whole family. I will continue to use Hoseasons and will recommend to all my family and friends.

Located next to railway station, ideally sited for visits to London. No need to take the car. Lodges are very spacious and ideal for families and as everyone says the hot tub is great.

The VIP lodge was excellent accommodation and I was extremely impressed with the furnishings and decor. The hot tub is a fantastic extra and even in the winter month of February there was great evening entertainment. The staff were very helpful and welcome even though we checked in very late. The best short break in England I have experienced and I have recommended to all of my friends and family.

The location was ideal for my son and myself due to the fishing facilities and also so much walking. Many small towns within a short distance. Many footpaths along the river and around Lee Valley Park to walk or cycle. Train station at the side of the park into London ideal for a shopping trip or even a show.

The park is quiet and the accommodation comes with state of the art appliances, the lodge was very clean and all the staff were at hand to assist. It is surely value for money.

5* accommodation for an extremely afforable price. Seculuded enough to get away from everyday hassle, but close enough to transport link into the city. The staff are friendly and helpful and breakfast provided for free. I have recommended this to family and friends and I really can't wait to go again. The hot tub was a great way to top this stay - above and beyond any other UK break standards!

Roydon Mill Lodges was 5 star and good value for money. As we wanted a break from children it was perfect as it was quiet and we did not see anyone around us - we will definitely return!

Really nice and peaceful setting, accommodation was of a very high standard. The hot tub was a superb addition and a real luxury. Plenty of trains passing by but that was not an issue because of double glazing. Really enjoyed our stay at this park and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Will be returning.

The location was ideal for London and site seeing in the area. The relaxation of the hot tub at the end of the day was bliss! The works on the Marina will be fantastic when completed and are being done to a high standard. Great weeks holiday!

The lodges are first class and it is just a 5 minute walk to the train station, and a few miles from a large supermarket and shopping centre. The park is very private with nice walks.

I have previously recommended Hoseasons and would do again. It's great for a little getaway, there are plenty of locations to choose from so you can go somewhere close to home if you only want to go for a few days. Also brilliant for last minute holidays, you can even book on the day.

The area was lovely, the lodges were complete luxury and the park was gorgeous - a complete, relaxing break. Ee had a wonderful time and I don't think it could be improved!

The accommodation was excellent, spotless and well furnished with top of the range TV and shower and a wonderful hot tub. When the hot tub temperature was accidently put down by my son the maintenance man was there within minutes to reset it. Also brilliant for catching regular trains to London with late returns.

The lodges were better than I could have expected. I felt that I was really staying in luxury, especially with the fantastic hot tub. The location was fantastic making a for a relaxing and tranquil holiday. I will definitely revisit and have recommended it to all my friends and family. Considering I normally go abroad for a break, this has made me look at holidaying in the UK as a number one choice!

The lodge was very nice and spacious with all the mod cons and great info on how to use them. The hot tub was hot when we arrived and we had no complaints. This is an ideal getaway break if you just want a quiet and peaceful getaway.

Would prefer to keep this gem a secret but that wouldn't be fair. Great for access to London. Plenty of walks around lakes and canal. Two good restaurants in the town (Italian and Indian) Three days wasn't long enough for us.

Here you get the bost of both worlds because if you are looking for a relaxing break the Roydon L Lodge is fantastic. The facilities within the lodge are great, and sitting out at night in the hot tub. If you are looking for a busy weekend then you can walk 5 minutes to the train station and you are in the heart of London withing 30 minutes!

The accommodation was gorgeous, so was the hot tub and we had a lovely time. We did not try any of the pubs in the small village up the road, however, the Red Lion pub in Stansted Abbotts (a five minute drive) was lovely, the restaurant had the best food I had ever tasted and it was very reasonably priced.

We went away for Christmas for the first time this year with our 4 and 6 year olds. This location was perfct for us as, and although it only took us 45 minutes to get to, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. We were looking for a quiet few days to relax and enjoy Christmas as a family and this is what we got. The accommodation was beautiful, spotlessly clean, modern but comfortable and with a kitchen big enough to cook a Christmas dinner for 8 people on Christmas day. We spent our time playing in the snow, relaxing in the hot tub or playing games and eating loads - it was absolutely perfect for our needs. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful as the day we were travelling there had been a lot of snow, so we left home very early, but due to very little traffic, we arrived by midday. We phoned reception in advance and they very kindly had our lodge ready early for us so that we didn't have to spend hours hanging around in the cold, which with 2 children wouldn't have been a good start to our holiday. We go away with Hoseasons every year and have so far not been disappointed. We would definitely recommend the Roydon Lodge to others without hesitation, and we will certainly be going away again next year!

This is a great place to stay when visiting London. The train runs every half hour and is about six minutes walk from the resort. We took our Granddaughter aged 11 and she loved coming back after a full day sightseeing to a place that was quiet where she had space, could see the ducks and rabbits and feel very relaxed. The accommodation had all that we needed and was clean, comfortable and quiet. This is partly a residential site and it looks as though any caravans are being fazed out and being replaced by the Lodges. There is a bar and grill on the site but we did not use it. We will definitely return next time we go to London and will recommend it to our friends and family.

The staff were friendly and helpful making sure that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The location of the park could not have been better with the train station only a short walk away giving access to London within 20 minutes. This was a really first class holiday. The park is so close to the train station, so you can get to London or Cambridge cheaply and easily (leaving the car at home) Roydon is within walking distance and has good pubs, serving food and also restaurants (curries and an Italian) There is a great choice of attractions in the area and the clubhouse on site has excellent entertainment and really good quality food. The lodge was really well equipped with lovely modern fittings. We'll definitely book again and we can't praise this enough!
