This site was very quiet - just what we wanted. Very clean and well kept. Easy access to Chester (by Park and Ride ) and North Wales.

Excellent site, the location is ideal only 1 hour drive to Liverpool and Alton Towers, superb location for visiting Wales etc. Very relaxing and quiet place, no clubhouse which suited us as the site was nice and quiet which is what we were looking for. We did a lot of visiting all the beautiful surroundings during the day, Chester is a lovely historic town with excellent shopping both in Chester and the huge outlet shopping nearby. Would definitely go back now the children are older it was definitely our kind of holiday, our 13 and 14 year olds also enjoyed the site as they didn't have to travel too far to reach the destination we travelled to.

If you're looking for a quiet location in a parkland setting for two this is worth a visit. It's kept clean and tidy by Alan (site warden) and his buddy. It's only a short drive straight into Chester or you could have a 15 minute walk down the lane and get the park and ride. You have to pass the retail area on the way and it's got the usual out-of-town shops which are good or get yourself into Chester for a great day out shopping and have a walk around the walls. The North Wales coastline is only a short drive away, if your in the National Trust go to Plas Newydd on Anglesey, it's a gem. Have a trip to Llangollen and visit tearooms just over the bridge if your coming from the railway station, its about 50 yards on your right set back a little and have Welsh teatime specials and then you can either walk back over the bridge and up to the canal and have a long stroll to Llangollen junction and walk over the aqueduct or it's a short drive to it either way it's worth it.
