This is an ideal place for couples wanting to relax and get away from it all for a few nights. Fantastic quality of accommodation and furnishings/fittings with very friendly and helpful owners. We had a wonderful time with lots of visitor attractions nearby and places to visit

We arrived at Wighill Manor Farm Lodges for a 4 night break over the New Year. From the moment of our arrival until our departure, we enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing break in this quiet and secluded location. First and foremost, the owners, Melanie and Rupert, were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and it is evident they want to ensure their guests have a relaxing time during their break away. The neighbouring White Swan pub is a 2 minute walk from the lodges, and serves a high standard of food and drink at a great price. The nearby village of Tadcaster had plenty of stores to buy in groceries; however, its worth noting that the owners also sell basic items at very reasonable prices. The accommodation was first-class; the standard and quality is well above that of other rentals we have stayed in previously. Overall, we were extremely impressed with the lodge and surrounding area, and will most definitely be returning.
