 It?s like a 4 star hotel room in the forest. Plenty of woodland walks, the dog loved it. Thorsby Hall is a 40 minute walk away with a nice cafe for food and a beer.

If you want just to relax, do nothing and have a great time in the hot tub then this is the place, it's wonderful.

A wonderful place to relax in the seclusion of Sherwood Forest. Fabulous accommodation and added extras that make a visit to Sherwood Lodges a real treat.

Beautifully decorated and very well appointed lodges and perfect for that 'get away from it all' break. No site facilities as yet as this is a very new development. Would highly recommend a stay at Sherwood Hideaway if you want to be home from home. Do pack a torch if you plan on venturing out at night as the site is very dark at night.

Lovely peaceful location, ideal for walks in the woods and relaxation. The accommodation was very good quality with real attention paid to detail, nice touches like slippers and bathrobes in the room. Hot tub was brilliant, very quiet more for adults. The fact you can take the dog is a bonus, he loved the walks!!!!

We had a lovely time - the lodge was spotless, well furnished and comfortable - the bedding was superb. Would completely recommend a stay at this site. We are hoping to go back again later this year.

The log cabins were amazing a real luxury in the forest and we used the facilities at Thorsby Hall which was a 5 min drive away. We were not expecting a basket on arrival with wine and fruit etc. which was a lovely surprise, the staff were very helpful. The hot tub was ready heated on arrival, everything was lovely, kitchen facilities excellent, cabin furnished to a vey high standard. Will be booking again very soon.

Sherwood Hideaway is exactly that, early days for a developing park, (March 11) but has lots of potential for anyone seeking a break in the heart of the Nottinghamshire country side. Peaceful and quiet, lovely for couples and families wanting to enjoy time together. Not for people who are wanting the hustle and bustle of a lively family park. Beautiful walks/bike routes and lovely places to visit locally.

Beautiful cabin, with very modern high quality furniture and fittings, very helpful and pleasant staff. Had a very pleasant three days here going for lovely walks and star gazing at night in the hot tub with a glass of wine, BLISS. So much so that we didn't want to leave, but will be back very soon as it was above our expectations.

Sherwood Hideaway lodges really are a modern hideaway, so peaceful but with a town and the beautiful Thoresby Hall in walking distance, the best of both worlds!

A great position for park adventures nearby and for relaxing on very comfortable patio furniture if staying in. Park staff helpful and properties of a good quality.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this place! The lodges are beautifully decorated with lots of carefully thought little details. We stayed in a traditional VIP 2 lodge which I could not fault at all. On arrival we received a basket full of goodies including wine and chocolate which was a nice surprise. The hot tub was ready to go when we got there and was one of the first things I tested out! The beds are extremely comfy, so much so I struggled to get out of mine every morning. Its such a relaxing place, I would recommend it to couples and families. There is not a lot to do on the park, lots of walks but thats about it. Tesco is about 5 minute drive away to get all your essentials, your kitchen has all utensils with pots, pans, plates and cutlery. One suggestion I do say is to take some cleaning cloths, we didn't have any which was quite annoying to just wipe tables tops with or an odd plate so had to buy some from tesco. All in all this is a beautiful place and can not wait to go back. I'm a travel agent and can be quite picky but I do not have one bad word to say about this lodge, its park or staff.

Went to Sherwood Hideaway for our honeymoon & it's beautiful. The park is not yet finished with things being built around you but it was a fabulous week & will definitely return.

A great place to chill out and rewind, great accommodation (loved the welcome pack, toiletries and slippers!) Fantastic hot tub and plenty to see and do in the area if you want to. Made use of the Thorseby Hotel Spa twice, highly recommended. Will be back.

This site is very peaceful and yet within close proximity of all local attractions. We had a very relaxing break at the Hideaway and would recommend it to anyone looking for a 'get away from it all' break.

We had a lovely time and really enoyed the walks in the woods with our puppy (she would recommend it!). Staff were really friendly and helpful. The hot tub was so relaxing and the quality of the lodge was very good. We especially appreciated all the luxury extras - the welcome pack, the bathrobes and slippers, the fluffy towels and the very high quality toiletries provided. We'd definitely consider booking again.
