This reviewer rated the park as 5 out of 5. Captain Cooks Haven is a lovely site,with great views of the river Esk. The accommodation is good,and we certainly hope to return one day.
This reviewer rated the park as 5 out of 5. Very quiet location. great for train fanatics just across the river Esk from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. No entertainment on site, although the places all have DVD players. Whitby is only 1.7 miles away (so a car is vital). Lots of pubs with live music, quizzes etc.
This reviewer rated the park as 5 out of 5. Fabulous mini-break, pool was lovely and warm, ideally located, peaceful setting by the river. The staff were great and very helpful, and the cottage itself was perfect for what we needed for a short break away.
