A very good location for exploring Dartmoor, Devon and Cornwall. A very nice park, peace and quiet and good staff.

The park is located in a central location allowing you to visit towns, and the North and South coasts. Ideal if you are looking for a quiet get away.

Fabulous location, great for lots of walks. Peace and quiet with very friendly, helpful staff - highly recommended.

We stayed at Woodovis Park to be near relatives, and we couldn't have wished for better, in the country and peace and quiet. The park was immaculate and the staff very friendly and they couldn't have been more helpful. The Chip Shop public house gave us 2 great meals - the fish and chips were great, the best we have eaten for a long time. It's great to be so near to places of interest and we visited relatives in Plymouth. Our caravan was wonderful so we had a perfect break - I would recommend it to anyone who would like a quiet break, and it's dog friendly too!

An amazing park, and a lovely, welcoming atmosphere from all the staff. The accommodation was absolutely spotless and well kitted out (Super Finch). The shop was really handy on site and the freshly made bread to order is a must!! The swimming pool and jacuzzi were an added bonus for such an intimate park. Dog walking area is great too, but dogs have to remain on leads at all times. Only 10 minutes from the main town and 15 minutes from Dartmoor. Tamar Valley walks are only 5/10 minutes away - not for those that don't like walking up and down hills!! Tavistock market was also a great place with a lovely atmosphere to visit along with a lovely walk along the side of the canel. Oggy Oggy is a great place to grab a bite to eat (pies and pasties were fab), and cupcakes and treats went down very well as gifts!! Always a lovely place to come back to - beds were comfy and it felt like home for the time we stayed! The present of fudge, tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets on arrival was a wonderful touch after a long journey, even if the fudge didn't last very long!! We will definitely be returning soon!

On arrival we went to the reception and we were welcomed by friendly and professional people who very swiftly checked us in, we were then escorted to our caravan where we were shown how to operate the different gadgets in the caravan, again this was done in a very friendly manner and put Us in holiday mode straight away. Being a hotel general manager it was exactly the sort of welcome I would expect guests of mine to experience when they arrive. the caravan was very clean and brand new, there was tea and coffee available on arrival, and of course the packet of complimentary fudge, mmmmmm. Unfortunately we couldn't of picked a worse week weather wise - it rained, snowed, hailstoned, and the wind blew gales!!! However the indoor pool and sauna provided ample cover and kept us occupied, all the amenities were available, and everywhere around the park was spotless and very well maintained. The management and staff were on hand to answer any queries and nothing was too much trouble - well done and thank you for making our week away so enjoyable. I was impressed with the location and everything, and will return in the summer for another enjoyable stay!

Woodovis feels like home to us. The staff are very cheery and friendly, the facilities are always very clean and tidy and we are warmly welcomed with our caravan set up and ready for us. A great place to stay, and one we would always consider going back to.

This holiday was extremely relaxing-especially the jacuzzi!! The site was peaceful & completely safe for children to wander around. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble for them. The freshly baked bread was a great start to each day - it was absolutely delicious and has to be tried!!

This is our first time staying at Woodovis and it won't be the last! The park is lovely, peaceful and ideal for a relaxing, stress-free break. The caravan was spotlessly clean and everything was thought of, and the pool and sauna facilities were excellent. We would thoroughly recommend the park to anyone and we hope to return in the very near future!

Overall the holiday was top notch. All facilities were good and very clean and the staff were very helpful and conscientious -it was brilliant!

An excellent place, quiet, peaceful and in nice surroundings. The couple who own it and their wardens are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

Such a peaceful and relaxing place, the staff were incredibly helpful and very friendly and always happy to answer questions. The pool and sauna were great and as it is a small park it is never overcrowded. The dog walking area was a real bonus that attracted us to this site, we will definitely book again and will recommend to friends and family.

This was a great park! We have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and they loved the swimming pool, park and the pitch and putt. The park was well maintained, quiet and very clean - we hope to go back in the near future.

Ideally situated to explore Dartmoor, the north and south coasts of west Devon and east Cornwall, and with several beautiful gardens nearby.

Thank you for a fantastic holiday. Both the park facilities and staff were second to none. On arrival the staff were so helpful, and when we checked in, the welcome pack of tea, coffee and homemade fudge really went down a storm after a long journey. We were really impressed with the amount of recycling and environmental policies at Woodovis, and small touches such as movement activated lights and dyson handryers really made the difference. The solar power for the swimming pool and therapy room were really good. There is lots to see and do around the park and lots of useful information in the games room to let you know whats on and where. The Chipshop Inn is well worth a visit as the food is fantastic, and the staff are very welcoming. We have already recommended Woodovis to friends and family and will definitely plan a return visit.

I would highly recommend Woodovis Park. The site is excellent, a good base for sightseeing in Devon. The site owners John and Dorothy Lewis are the most friendliest and welcoming people I have ever met on a holiday park. I am seriously considering returning there next summer.

A wonderful friendly welcome from all the staff. The accommodation and facilities on site were excellent especially the archery and water walking. For a small site it still has everything you could want but still keeps a relaxed quiet feel. I will definitely be a regular visitor.

Woodovis Park is a superb location. The owners John and Dorothy, and their staff are so very friendly and helpful. The park is very clean and tidy. It is also an ideal location for touring Devon and Cornwall. This was our second visit to Woodovis and it most definitely will not be the last.

This is a nice park, everywhere is spotlessly clean, and there is great attention to detail, for example the delicious complimentary sweets left in the caravan for our arrival!

You cant improve the standards at Woodovis Park, just keep them up. The park was spotless, our caravan was spotless and all the staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely happy. We loved the park and will be going back again definitely.

Woodovis Park is one of the best parks in the UK. Set in stunning countryside its facilities are second to none. The staff are helpful and friendly, the park is very clean and well run and the swimming pool and sauna are superb. Perhaps on the quiet side for some, but for those with younger families, or like us, the dog walking and sightseeing couples, absolutley first class! - we will be going back soon!

The site was perfect for a quiet family break. It was immaculate, safe and staff were very friendly and helpful. The fact that there was no noisy clubhouse was a bonus as was the swimming pool and games room for the kids. All in all we were made to feel very welcome and even the dog had a great time!! Would definitely recommend Woodovis for anyone looking for a great relaxing holiday.

A lovely caravan on a peaceful site in an excellent location.

Woodovis is ideally situated to make Dartmoor and the the coast easily accessible. The site itself is extremely quiet and the staff are happy to help. We had a great time.

We found the park ideally situated to reach everywhere we wanted to visit, including the train into Plymouth. We had a excellent holiday, have no complaints and we would revisit.

My wife and I and our two dogs had the pleasure of staying in the Woodovis Cottage for a short break at the end of October. It was a wonderful few days, and the cottage was warm and comfortable with everything we needed available. The park is lovely, beautifully kept and has plenty of space. Everyone was so friendly and it was so nice to be made so welcome, especially when you have dogs with you. The facilities are excellent and the staff are wonderful - very caring and helpful. We had a great time and the dogs enjoyed the lovely walks. We would recommend the park to anyone, and look forward to coming down to Devon again soon.

If you are looking for a relaxing, unrushed and quiet holiday then Woodovis park is the place for you. The staff were all very helpful, the park was perfect for our needs and was exceptionally clean. My daughter, dog and I enjoyed our stay and would very much like to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent week at Woodovis Park - a really beautifully kept park, and cared for by a very friendly group of people. We have stayed at many Hoseasons parks over the years but think this one is the best. The park is situated in beautiful countryside and close to many attractions such as Cottele and Buckland Abbey, the home of Sir Francis Drake. We can thoroughly recommend meals at the "Harvest Home" pub less than 2 miles away.

Woodovis Park is a central location for touring Cornwall and Devon, with excellent accommodation away from the major roads and traffic noise. The peace and quiet on site was fantastic for a pleasurable, relaxed break. Friendly staff greet you with a smile and show you around your accommodation to settle you in, and the park is well maintained by a small team who are happy to assist at all times. We will visit this park again in the future.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Short journey to access Dartmoor for walking.

I would highly recommend this park the facilities were spotless clean and the extra touches such as flowers in the toilets and complimentary toiletries make you feel really welcome. Staff were always on site and you could always find someone if needed which made such a difference. Overall just a lovely experience.
