 The park was in a stunning location, very quiet with amazing views. The quality of the accommodation was outstanding and the interior design was very homely and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone who was looking for a peaceful holiday within reasonable driving distance of many of North Wales' beautiful attractions.

Since arriving the holiday ran so smoothly, accommodation was luxury compared to what I'd experienced abroad. The hot tub was ready on arrival, with fresh water, 40c and fairly deep, far better than our local leisure centre. The weather was pleasant, mostly dry which was lovely for mid October. My son got ill on the second night though the health service were excellent and the site manager offered us another night in the lodge if needed. I will definitely go again.

We have been on many holidays with Hoseasons and have always found the standard of accommodation to be very good. I would certainly recommend all of the sites we have visited in the past to family and friends.

This was a superb weekend break, the lodge accommodation was outstanding, exceptionally clean and comfy. Lovely and peaceful even with our 16 month old son!!! Lots of things to do in the area and great as a base to explore further a field. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

This was a nice, family friendly holiday spot. Everything was geared towards families enjoying the outdoors, or indoors if you preferred. The kids loved it, especially being carted around in bicycle buggies and the Blue Lagoon pool!

An excellent holiday that would appeal to most age groups seeking a complete rest and change from the daily grind. Peace and quiet was wonderful and also a good place to see some stunning scenery. Accommodation was first class.

I could not recommend Hoseason enough. The accommodation is always excellent, so too is the location and the friendly and helpful staff. We have had three holidays with Hoseasons so far and would not dream of booking with anyone else (we have booked to go to Cornwall next August already) The little things, like tea coffee, milk, ice in the freezer and other little bits and bobs they leave as a welcome, make us feel cared for and not just another client, keep up the good work, we love it.

Peaceful location, central to the many attractions in Snowdonia and North/Mid Wales. Accommodation was immaculately clean, well furnished and with all necessary accessories for cooking etc. Site staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the site manager in particular attempted to provide assistance whatever the request.

We had a great time at Pen Y Garth lodges and look forward to going back next year. The accommodation was superb and a pleasure to stay in all day due to the heavy snow!

We would recommend and visit this holiday area again simply for the outstanding views across Bala and surrounding area, the scenery was spectacular. Plenty of places to eat and relax and the locals gave a warm and friendly welcome.

Despite the pouring rain we were shown to our lodge ,the lodge was nice and warm on entering ,lovely and comfortable ,surprised at how big the lodge was ,3 double bedrooms and a shower room in the double room and a family bathroom !Lovely outside wrap around veranda with a gate ,as we took our dog this was great .this is a lovely quiet site with lovely views on all sides -if you want to chillax -this is the place for you !!! Particularly enjoyed our walks round Bala lake with our dog -all areas spotless ,litter free -highly recommended !!

We spent a wonderful 4 days at Pen Y Garth Lodges. The site was lovely and peaceful with great views, and from the moment we arrived the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a good central base for walking, cycling and sightseeing. There is nothing on the site except for a small children's play area, but Bala Lake is only half a mile down the (rather steep!!) hill and Bala itself another half a mile from there. The kids loved it (aged 6 and 2) and enjoyed watching the rabbits and even the odd fighter plane flying over!! We'd go back tomorrow!!!!

Beautiful location, fabulous lodges, very clean and modern. Staff very accommodating. Very good value for money. Boys enjoyed kayaking at Bala lake. Even went to Liverpool which was only 1 1/2 hrs away. Would highly recommend these lodges to family and friends. Will be back soon.

A fantastic lodge, with the most amazing views. You couldn't fault the accommodation at all - a real 'home from home' feel which is just what you need with two very young children. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and it's a holiday that shouldn't be missed by anyone.

This location was excellent and provided the perfect getaway. Plenty for families to do with everything on hand within the area. Beautiful scenery, and the children enjoyed watching the pheasants, rabbits and squirrels. We enjoyed it so much so we are thinking about returning again next year!

What stunning accommodation! We had the lodge country six platinum - very clean and modern and the bedroom has en-suite. I also looked around the other accommodation as we are re-booking. The VIP lodges are outstanding, I have never seen accommodation to this standard. I also had a look round the house, again amazing!!! I have hired many lodges, but these are the best by far and cost the least. The park is quiet with good views, and the hosts are very welcoming. Bala Lake in within walking distance, and the town is a little further, about 2 miles. A few pubs and restaurants but no Indian, and fantastic walks and bike rides. If you want somewhere to unwind and totally relax then this is the place to go - I can't wait to return!!

I would definitely recommend this holiday. Already told relatives to get away for a relaxing time at Pen Y Garth in the hot tub. Beautiful settings and surroundings. Views amazing. Also snowed while we were there. It was like been in Chronicles of Narnia. Definitely created some lasting memories.

Lovely accommodation, clean and comfortable. Good location for exploring North Wales, it is about 30 mins to 1 hr from most attractions. Please note the shops in Bala are basic, so do try and do a full shop in a big town before hand.

Excellent accommodation - small things like having beds made up on arrival make all the difference. Thought that Hoseasons might be a bit 'tacky' but you would never have even associated this park with a big holiday company. The impression was of a small private holiday park with first class accommodation. Really impressed, better than expected!
