 The lodge was located in a quiet and peaceful site with a small lake and a brook surrounded by woodland, but was served by a well stocked shop, with bar and pool nearby. It was in an excellent position to explore the surrounding seaside locations and with a nearby railway station with good car parking, to venture further afield if required. It was in fact exactly what we were looking for.

Thurston Manor is a great getaway holiday, just returned from there today and had a fab time. Would recommend this 2 any couple or family who just want to get a peaceful weekend away from home. great value for money.

The park itself is big but well layed out with lots of seperate areas. The area we stayed in 'The Glen' is newly constructed and slightly away from the main site. Its lovely with its own private fishing lake and small play area for the children. This area has new caravans and lodges, some privately owned, some owned by the park, but all virtually new and in beautiful condition. The whole park, including the touring area, is well maintained and beautifully kept. The entertainment complex offers good choice for all ages, with a bar, amusements for children and a small indoor pool and fitness centre. Overall a great choice for families and couples alike.

Loved the relaxed setting by the lake watching the birds and wildlife was great. Also a good site for variety of activities e.g. coastal walks and visiting Edingburgh etc..

Thurston Manor is very easy to find, only half a mile off the A1. It, therefore makes an excellent base for exploring the North of England and Southern Scotland.

Great first caravan holiday experience for our little girl and baby. Great park and location. Play park and swimming pool was very popular! Definitely come back again as still lots to explore.

Excellent location for many sandy beaches, interesting sea resorts and easy access to Edinburgh through park and ride. John Muir Way and Country Park are also excellent for walking through a variety of good scenery. Thank you for an excellent holiday location.

We had a great time at The Glen, Thurston Manor! Would definitely go again. We were in a very quiet part of the glen that is not full yet and with 2 toddlers it was great, was able to watch them from our decking without them disappearing between caravans/lodges. It is quite a walk though, to be able to use the park facilities. Our accommodation was absolutely spotless - definitely recommend it.

A beautiful park, very clean and well maintained, really nice walks down to the Glen. Also very central for Edinburgh and Berwick, also Dunbar 10 mins away,very nice town. Accommodation was spotless and very well stocked with kitchen utensils, bedding very fresh and clean.

Thurston Manor, Dunbar was an ideal location for exploring both the East Lothian coast line and the City of Edinburgh. The caravan was immaculate and park facilities excellent.

You could not improve on this Hoseasons Holiday. It was fantastic from start to finish, and the information booklet with all the details of local attractions and places of interest that was in our holiday home helped us to plan the weeks outings, very, very good.

This park was lovely and the accommodation looked brand new and was spotlessly clean. The entertainment and swimming pool also made for a lovely holiday. Would definitely go again some time.

The location was first class to explore this part of Scotland and the ease of travelling was good. The holiday park was clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful, would recommend this holiday to anyone that was looking to visit Scotland.

A good site, in a nice location with great facilities for adults and kids, definitely worth considering for that part of Scotland. But you have to pay extra for the pool.

Very family orientated park, kids disco in separate club plus big function hall with cabaret, spotless and very friendly. A lot of caravan owners, like one big happy family.

We have stayed in a few other holiday parks (with other holiday companies) this by far was the best. The setting, the location, the cleanliness of the caravan was so impressive, as there is nothing worse than arriving ad having to clean the caravan because the bathroom and kitchen are so grimy. The caravan was nicely set out and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a truly relaxing holiday, one of the best we have ever had in Great Britain.

We thought that Thurston Manor was a great setting for a family holiday. A good location, great facilities, clean and well equipped accommodation and very, very peaceful! All at a very competitive price - just what the Doctor ordered!

A nice, clean park with plenty of facilities but without being too noisy or busy. A good location for exploring the surrounding area, a well stocked shop, the swimming pool is great for families and they have friendly and helpful staff.

Thurston Manor is a beautifully kept and well laid out holiday park. The Glen in particular is absolutely stunning but still close enough to the facilities of the park. Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The welcome pack was a great bonus. We will definitely be back.

I have stayed in this holiday park a few times and love it. It is great for the kids and the restaurant is fab.
It is not far away from the town, and there is a supermarket just a few mins along the road.
The entertainment it great and there is bingo on in the evenings.
Kids entertainment it good too the young boy is fab with them
I would go back again and hope to do so in the near future.
