I would like to recommend this holiday because it was a lovely site, very clean and tidy. It is just a short walk to the beach and to the village so would suit all ages. The village pubs were dog friendly which is good if you have your pet with you. Hopefully we will be back again for another visit.

If you are looking for a quiet, well run and clean park, friendly staff and somewhere close to the beach then this is one place you must try!

I've been going to the same place (Charmouth) for ten years now as it is a real escape from London. The peace and tranquility of Dorset is just the remedy for the stress of city life.

We enjoyed this park as it was next to the sea and on the doorstep to beautiful coastal walks. We didn't have to use the car every day. The park is small, peaceful, and next to a tranquil river.

What a wonderful park. The situation was excellent, the caravan was just as we hoped and the staff very helpful.

This park is really good, it is very clean. Ideal for going out and about and walking on the beach .There is a lovely fish and chip shop less than 5 minutes away in the village which caters for most tastes. Also in the village there is a few shops and two pubs. The little shop on the park is a great help when you need something in hurry.

The park that we went to was just want we wanted, nice and quiet but enough around the site to keep various interests alive. The local public houses and restaurants were excellent for value and exceptional quality of food. The site itself was well run and remained clean and tidy throughout our visit despite having children on site. It was nice to see well behaved dogs were also allowed on the site.

This site is next to a fabulous fossil beach and ideal for children and dog friendly too. The caravans are wonderful and the park is very well kept and flat which helps me as I have a back problem. The staff are always friendly and I have already booked again for October and will be back next year too

Seafront caravan park is an excellent location for fossil hunters to stay at!

A pleasant and peaceful site very near the beach.

We did recommend it while away, in fact one couple we met in another resort was so impressed when we compared holidays that we saw them the next day on our site .They agreed and said next year they would go to Seadown.

Site so near to great fossil beach and so quiet when we visited in early July. So near to all of the amenities in the village of Charmouth that you could easily walk. Great site.

We found this to be a very quiet and peaceful site, the caravan was all we expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The best holiday we have had for quite some time.

It must be the ultimate park for being the centre of a massive touring area (Weymouth in the East, Sidmouth in the West and Yeovil in the North), and all within 45 minutes!

The location of this park was a walkers paradise, we parked the car and never used it again until we went home. Whether it was fossil hunting along the beaches or being able to walk miles inland on the many pathways - varying from easy to difficult to suit yourselves.

We wanted peace and quite and that is what we got. Beautiful area. Good local eating places. Also nice walks.

Very nice quiet site, ideal for people who don't want a noisy, busy holiday and all the trappings of bars, club houses and entertainment. Within short walking distance of a lovely unspoilt beach and cliff walks. In the heart of a picturesque village with well stocked shop, bakery and fish and chip shop as well as pubs and restaurants and bric-a-brac shops.

A lovely quiet park in an ideal location to explore the beach. Brilliant for both adults and children who enjoy walking and a good location in which to explore other areas of Dorset.

A perfect park for beach access and lovely dog walks. A spotlessly clean park, and accommodation, friendly and a great base for visiting Lime Regis, Westbay and many other places of interest.

Our children (aged 13 and 10) beg to return here year after year, they love being this close to the beach! The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble.

Fantastic value, so close to beach, we could walk there and back really easy. Excellent dog walk right next to park. Beautifully clean and quiet. Will definitely book here again.

Quiet and close to the sea.

The location was excellent for access to beach and some coastal walks. Great for peaople with dogs and a good sized aera for exercising them. Short walking distance village for shops & pubs. Dogs allowed in local pubs which was also a great bonus.

A fantastic location for family holiday, a clean safe beach yards away from the park with cafe facilities. The park was immaculate and well laid out and the on-site shop was well stocked and had friendly/ knowledgable staff. The Cobb Arms, Lyme Regis provided excellent value for money and home cooked food. Local towns of interest, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Bridport, Dorchester.

I don't think you can improve this site (Seadown, Charmouth) Excellently run, clean and very helpful staff. Positioned right next to the beach with private access. Lovely quiet site. Have visited for three weeks this year with Hoseasons, liked it so much in May went back in September.

I would be happy to recommend the site and it's facilities to anybody . Everything was just perfect.

Excellent location and accommodation (Dorset Horizon) and very clean. The Royal Oak pub in the village does very good food with a friendly atmosphere. A nice relaxing holiday, ideal for coastal walks and pottering about and an ideal location for visiting the nearby towns of Lyme Regis, West Bay, Seaton, Beer and Sidmouth. I would definitely go again.

i would prefer not to recommend as this site is a jewel and we dont want everyone going to it !!

It is a very quite site, with lovely walks along the cliffs or on the beach, very friendly staff, site well maintained.

This is a good site which is literally minutes from both the sea and village of Charmouth which has everything you can need i.e. fish and chip shop, butchers, cafe and friendly people. With lovely walks it's been a pleasure to stay here, thank you once again Hoseasons.

Seadown is very clean ,friendly staff,right next to the beach so great for fossil hunting ,heaven for the dog with the walk straight from the site to the cliffs and beach, great location for exploring all the jurassic coast.

This was a good value holiday on a quiet site. The two beaches at Charmouth were very close - less than 5 mins walk. The village also has an excellent fish and chip shop that sells much more than the usual menu (curries, pizza, pasta dishes etc.)

We had a fantastic time in Charmouth. The park was really close to the sea and also handy for the village. We went on a bargain deal and it was our first stay in a static caravan. We didn't know what to expect, but would definitely go again - it was fab!

A lovely park and an ideal location, great for people with or without children. There are shops nearby and if you haven't got a car there is a local bus service. The accommodation was excellent, very close to the sea and also very good if you have a dog.

We had a wonderful holiday! We really liked the park and its position so near the beach, luckily the weather was kind to us and we were able to get out there every day. The park was really kept clean and the bins were emptied regularly each day. Thank you for letting us have a special time with our grandchildren and our daughter.

We would certainly recommend this site as it is suberbly located for the beach, is peaceful and quiet but above all dog-friendly. This was our first holiday with our 6 month old puppy, we didn't know what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised with the whole experience.

The area is just beautiful. The scenery is spectacular. The site itself is very clean and not too big. Less than five minutes walk to the sea. Five minutes walk to the village which has shops where you can buy most essentials. Lots of lovely local places to visit.

This is a lovely quiet site, without the noisiness which is often associated at those sites with a social club. Plenty of good facilities available within a few minutes walk, and the site is ideal for dog owners.

Would recommend to anyone who wants a nice peaceful holiday in great surroundings. Not only is it nice for people, it also caters for the four legged friends. The dog walks around the park are lovely and there is direct access to the beach and cliffs. It's well worth a visit!!

Great place to stay.

A great location with the beach being so close. We didn't use the car for a good few days as the beach was great, also there are great coastal walks from the park. We thoroughly enjoyed this holiday, just wished it was longer - highly recommended!

Seadown is a lovely park and Lyme Bay has been a firm favourite with our family for many years. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so!

I would definitely recommend this site, constantly clean, amazing location pretty much on the beach, beautiful walks around, easily walked to Lyme Regis from here with 3 young children. Lots to see and do. Beach immaculate and allow dogs on all year round. could not fault this holiday at all will definitely be going back.

I would recommend this park as it was very clean and had everything that you needed, whether you were in a static caravan or touring. It was also in a fantastic location and the prices were reasonable.

Seadown park is one of the sites you would think being near the sea would be noisey , no way , everybody respects each other so the site glows with comfort and calm, thank you for a brill holiday.

We would certainly recommend this caravan park-it is perfect for families with all facilities and just the right size whilst catering for all ages. We had a lovely time visiting Dirdle Door, testing the coastal path from Abbotsbury along to Chesil Beach and frequenting the bay at Lyme Regis. Thankyou.

Well located and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The park was lovely, clean, has access direct to the beach, and most of all is dog friendly which is important to us. The near by pub was also a hit - we will be back there again soon!

This is a most delightful location. Charmouth itself is quiet, quaint, and quintessentially English coast at its best. The beach and beach walks, estuary with ducks, geese and swans, views, and ease of access to neighbouring towns is too fabulous to describe. This park is perfect for a relaxing, charming and yet invigorating holiday - perfect!

The park was within easy walking distance of both the beach and Charmouth village, and the park was nice and quiet.

I would certainly recommend this site to others, fantastic location to the beach for carrying the bags. The caravan was equipped well and really liked the gas cooker and fire, other caravans have been electric and are not as warm if the weather becomes chilly. Great to be able to bring the dog and take him onto the beach in May. Very clean site and I would definitely return.

An excellent site with easy access to the beach and plenty of open spaces, one of the best sites we have visited for cleanliness - we will be back again!

If you enjoy holidays away from commercial hustle and bustle this is perfect. A very quiet site, lovely long beach strolls or coastal walks. 2-3 little shops in village and bigger towns if you want not too far away. Great for kids too who don't need high intensity entertainment. . .My 6yr old loved fossil hunting, running in the waves and kite flying.

The park has the best caravans we have ever stayed in, and is so near to the beach!

A very enjoyable holiday and an easy place to tour Dorset from.

Charmouth residents are very welcoming and helpful. The park is situated in a peaceful location adjacent to the beach. It is away from all the trappings of the bigger seaside locations (eg amusement arcades). Beach was clean, mainly pebble but still had sand for making sandcastles. Went on a fossile hunt on the beach and found loads. My six year old daughter is now addicted. Accomodation was clean and well equiped. Everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Didn't want to come home.

Brilliant holiday! Couldn't ask for a better location, better caravan or better friendly but unobtrusive staff. Apart from the expected vagaries of the weather, we managed to do pretty much everything we set out to do: swimming, walking, visiting culturally important sites, fun places for the kids etc. Charmouth is excellent because it is equidistant from both Devon and Dorset, so we had access to Dorchester as well as Sidmouth and Beer. Pity we could afford only 14 days. The other families on the site and generally those holidaying in Dorset seemed to be more cultured, cosmopolitan and open than those we met around Goodrington in Devon. I feel rejuvenated; the kids already want to go on holiday to Dorset again.

Excellent location, lots of walks, frequent local buses to nearby towns.

An ideally situated, safe, family site. Good access to beach.

The park was very clean and spacious with very good walking areas by the river, ideal for dog walking. The river walk led straight down to the sea and the park was quiet.

Superb location (Jurassic Coast) very picturesque beach with fossil interests and a pleasant 2min walk from Caravan Park. The park is exceptionally clean and quiet. Seadown Park, Charmouth is ideally located for coastal walks incl. Golden Cap and, also, within reach of many famous places of interest. I have stayed there twice in 6 months and intend to go again soon. Dorset is a beautiful county and enjoys great sunny weather. The roads are a pleasure to drive on and are maintained to a high standard with grass verges cut regularly!

The standard of accommodation is excellent and the staff were very polite and helpful. I would not consider booking my holidays with anyone else. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a happy holiday.

The park is right next to the beach which made fossil hunting every evening an enjoyable part of the holiday. This holiday was perfect for us it was really central to everything we wanted to explore. The warden made a really good job keeping the park clean and tidy - I don't think it can be improved!

The site and caravan was very clean with a short flat walk to the beach. The bus services were convenient and near to shops in the village. We had a good holiday and will return sometime soon.

Seadown is an ideal base for exploring East Devon/West Dorset. It's clean and quiet with direct access to Charmouth beach. Perfect for scenic coastal walks and fossil hunting. Two pubs within walking distance.

A great park in a great position inbetween popular areas.

Well kept park, grass cut regularly. Well equipped caravans, seem like new. Good shop with a good variety of stock. Pleasant helpers. Plenty of leaflets of places to go. Beautiful spot near the beach.

This was our third visit to Seadown Park and is ideal for taking the dog for his holiday. The beach is 5 minutes away and the park is very peaceful. The locals are all very friendly and the pubs and restaurants also allow dogs into their establishments which is very good.

It was a fabulous site, well situated for the beach. It was also quiet and clean. My children aged 11 and 8 found lots to do and they felt safe, we will definitely be going back.

Our first UK holiday for many years in fact since childhood, we can only highly recommend Seadown Park, only wished we had booked for two weeks instead of one. We are also first time dog owners and our little Jack Russell, Peanut had a ball too! Many thanks to the Seadown Staff and to Hoseasons.

We had been to Seadown many, many years ago when our children were small, apart from the shop being larger and field has been improved a great deal since then, it was a pleasure to see families having picnics and playing games. To be able to be on the beautiful beach at Charmouth, in minutes, is wonderful. To have the flexibility of when, where, what to visit and have the comfort of the 'static' as a base is very convenient.

This park is ideally located for visiting the beach, looking for fossils and taking a stroll over beautiful hills with tremendous views of the countryside and the sea. The park is clean, well kept and very quiet. For the children there is ample space, near but not between the caravans so they don't annoy other visitors. We loved staying here and woudn't mind spending another holiday here!

Lyme Regis, great place to visit and parking areas plentiful and parking charges very cheap at only ?1.00 per day up to 6pm. Would definitely recommend this site to anyone.

What a fantastic site to enjoy a real, unspoilt holiday in a very uncommercialised resort. I would thoroughly recommend Charmouth to anyone looking for natural scenery, peace and quiet.

This is the second time we have stayed at Seadown Park and we plan to visit again next year, we just love the peaceful location. This year we took our dog and it's just a lovely place to go for walks and we did not feel restricted at all. First Class.

This site is suitable for those wishing to 'get away from it all'. If you want to be away from the usual noise and entertainment and want to enjoy a quiet, peaceful holiday this is definitely a good site.

Seadown is a fabulous place. We had a wonderful caravan which was immaculate and it is set in beautiful surroundings close to the beach. The park is very dog friendly and there is a dog friendly pub close by with wonderful food. Ideal for a relaxing holiday!

Seadown Park has an excellent atmosphere, is clean and tidy and staff are always around to help. The caravan was in excellent condition and had ample room for a family of six. Being close to the beach was fantastic and the children were able to go off exploring without us worrying. Highly recommended to all we will most certainly go back in the future.

The site at Charmouth is extremely well presented and is in an ideal location with easy access to the beach and river walk. The beach was nice and family friendly with pebbles when the tide was in, but vast areas of sand at low tide for the children to run around on. The access to the surrounding areas by road is also very good and there is a bus stop within a couple of minutes walk. A nice site which we would visit again and would definitely recommend.

A fabulous location, lovely local walks and several pubs are within an easy walking distance that serve food and are dog friendly - they even gave us a dog bisciut with our pint!

I found that Seadown Holiday Park was very nice and clean, ideal for the beach. In the town/village of Charmouth was quite small, few shops, but The George (public house) served great meals, good selection to choose from and the staff very friendly, highly recommend that you have a meal there. The setting for the holiday park was lovely & perfect being next to the beach. The site was really clean & maintained to a high standard & also lovely & peaceful at night. we would definitely return to this site hopefully for longer this time.

This is a good park to take dogs to as there are plenty of places to walk them, including along the beach - we thoroughly enjoyed this park!

Seadown park is great in every aspect - accomodation is perfect, the actual site is just a perfect size, clean, quiet and just few meters from the beach and also very close to the local amenities. I would recomment to anyone and will definitely spend my holiday there again.

We had a fantastic time here - the staff were really helpful and friendly, and we all enjoyed ourselves - young and old alike!

The caravan was spotless it was nice to walk into the caravan and smell fresh smells and cleaning products instead of the usual caravan smell. The park is in an excellent location with walks down to the sea and by the river. The holiday park is a dogs dream with lots of walks and friendly people. Charmouth itself is also very dog friendly it was nice to be able to take our dog out with us at night into the two local pubs. We had something new to do each day of our holiday. If not next year the year after we will be returning. Thank you!

We like this holiday because it non commercialised (no club, and no noise) and the fact that pets are alowed is brilliant.

The location of this campsite could not be better. Practically on the beach, you have the flexibility of returning to base at your leisure whilst only being a fossil stone throw away from the sea. The campsite is quiet, friendly and ideal for our family that wanted a beach holiday without the overwhelming range of activities and amenities that would distract from our quality time together. The staff were always smily, friendly and eager to help and the shop (and surrounding village) had the range of products required at normal, everyday prices. A fabulous holiday. We would recommend it to you without reservation and intend to visit again and again.

This quiet site is in an enviable position, just a five minute walk from accommodation to the beach! We will be back, we loved it!

Peaceful, lovely scenery, easy access to the caravan for my disabled husband and you are able to park next to caravan. The village is minutes away with nice little shops and eating places, there are pubs within walking distance, its close to sea and there is a bus stop close by.

Great location for expoloring the region, and a great park if you have dogs, with a dog friendly pub and beach nearby

Charmouth Park is a hidden jewel which once found will quickly become a gem of a venue for an annual holiday.

Excellent site to walk the coastal walk, very friendly staff, have been before and going back in September.

We have stayed at this park a number of times it is a perfect location for visiting the wonderful towns and villages of Dorset. The beach is lovely and the village of Charmouth has good facilities - we can't wait to get back there next year.

Seadown Park in Charmouth is one of the cleanest and friendliest parks I have been to. Perfect for my family and dog friendly too - a great break.

My wife and I have just returned from Seadown Park Charmouth after a weeks holiday there. We would recommend this park to our family and friends, it's clean, it's quiet, dog friendly, even though we don't have a dog. A short walk through the park takes you to the Jurassic coast beach, a lovely place and nearby there are numerous interesting places to visit. It's a walker's dream - as well all those rolling hills and cliff top views, a holiday we both enjoyed.

Very relaxing and peaceful setting, ideal for resting the mind and body. Pleasant views of the surrounding country side are always with you. Also nearby are some nice walks and places to visit.

It is an excellent location for a holiday if you want a break from driving as there is a bus service to a number of resorts. Easy walking distance to the beach, everything you need for a relaxing holiday including local pubs and facilities.

Great site, we were made to feel welcome with children and the dog where so many other places just seem to 'put up' with them, close to the beach and lovely walks, Kids loved it, dog loved it and we found it relaxing, the only thing wrong with the whole holiday is we weren't there longer!

Charmouth is a lovely location to relax away from the crowds with old fashioned pubs, that supply wholesome food and local ales, wonderful coastal walks and a beach that is clean with both sand for sandcastles and pebbles for sunbathing!

This was our 8th visit. Seadown is ideal for a quiet break, beautiful location and for dog owners like us does not cost the earth for that extra set of paws.

Great site, with wonderful access to the beach. The caravans are well equipped, and make for a very comfortable stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

I am reluctant to recommend this holiday because I want to keep it as my secret Shangrila (it is perfect) I have booked another holiday in September this year on the park.

Every thing is on site or close by. For older people it's not a big site so it's quiet. Lovely walks & close to the beach.

We just had a smashing holiday at Seadown in one of their caravans, and I would highly recommend the park to anyone. It is spotlessly clean, the bins are emptied every day, and it is so quiet and peaceful with no fear of noisy people coming through the park at night. They are dog friendly but you seldom hear a dog bark - I've been there twice and I can't wait to go again.

Our aim for this holiday was fossil hunting and this park was just the perfect location.

Seadown caravan park dorset had everything you want in a relaxing holiday nice greetings from staff and a good location i'd recommend hoseaesons any time. My wife and and I hardly ever go on holiday because we cant afford it most times.. This holiday was a reasonable price for what we got Well done to all concerned thanks NICK & SOPHIE

Fantastic, site was close to the beach and was very peaceful. Staff were helpful when you asked them anything and the location of the site was brilliant for going to other places. Will be going back next year for a reunion!

This park is superb with access to the beach, very clean and welcoming. We have been here two years running and were as delighted as ever. Nearby is Lyme Regis and Bridport and plenty of places of interest to visit.

Absolutely fantastic ,the site is immaculate, the bridge, meadow and beach area so unspoiled it is a supremely beautiful place. Especially to unwind, also we could have the company of our beloved dog.

This is an ideal location for people wanting a restful holiday, and is particulary suitable for dog lovers as the walk to the beach is lovely. You also tend to meet other like minded doggie people and everyone we met was friendly.

The park is the cleanest we have ever stayed on and we have been motorhome owners and are well travelled. It is ideally situated for Lyme Regis and Weymouth without being in the towns. There is a good shop with happy helpful assistants and it is also ideal if you are a dog owner as there are plenty of walks. I would recommend it unreservedly!

The location of the park is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by idyllic countryside. The caravan itself was comfortable, clean and kitted out with all mod cons. I would highly recommend this holiday and will definitely be back again in the future.

One of the best kept, quiet sites we have ever stayed on, lovely.

As a single parent this holiday was ideal. We were on a family orientated park which was quiet and friendly, the shop was perfectly situated and the beach was nearby with lots of space for the children to play in safely.

For couples like us with a small dog the place is excellent - this was our 8th visit - and seems to be 'mecca' for dog owners (and responsible ones at that!). We also like it because of its beautiful location and it's quiet with no entertainment facilities. The 'Dorset' caravan available to dog owners is relatively new and very clean, i.e. no doggy smells! The caravan's TV was a new digital one - the only downside was that digital radio reception for one's own portable was non-existent (because of the surrounding hills). The TV was fine so was used for both radio as well as TV programmes.

I would recommend here to anyone for a relaxing holiday. It is the best holiday we have had!

The park is suitable for people with dogs. The dog walk and nicely mown grass to the sea was very good - highly recommended for dog lovers.
