Absolutely amazing! Felt like a celebrity in the lodge, the surroundings were breathtaking and wished we had booked to stay longer. Will definitely be coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kippford Park and would recommend it to anyone considering a stay there. The staff are courteous, helpful and very pleasant. They are very well informed regarding their park and local knowledge. The Norwegian VIP Lodge was lovely to stay in. Our experience with Hoseasons has been a very positive one.
Particularly good for wildlife enthusiasts; nature walks offered by the site. Red squirrels resident and readily seen at the park.
Kippford Holiday Park is set in stunning scenery and has been really well thought out to give virtually every pitch gorgeous uninterrupted views. The walks are well signposted and the village itself is very welcoming. Loads to do even so early in the season. When it is sunny there is no place better and even when wet, waterproofs allow the enjoyment to continue. Well recommended!!
If anyone is looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful location then Kippford is it. It's our second visit and we'll definitely be back.
Excellent value for money, Pine lodge accommodation was the best we have stayed in. Site very well laid out and great play area's for kids.

Pleasant staff and a good holiday for young and old. An ideal place for children to make new friends on holiday.
Wonderful part of the world and lots to do for children. We've been going for 15 years and still discovered some new things to do this time.
Located in a beautiful part of UK, this park is well looked after and staff were very helpful and friendly.
Kippford is a fantastic holiday park. Beautiful location, caravans and lodges are on a hill side, hidden behind trees, bushes etc so there appear to be very few of them, and the beaches, and places of interest are quiet, beautiful and unspoilt. No swimming pool or evening entertainment - just hills and trees! Fabulous!
The information and details in the brochure and website are what you get, and mostly better. Would have no hesitation in booking again
Yes, immaculate setting, five yes FIVE red squirrels... Scotland's hidden gem!
A very relaxing holiday set in beautiful surroundings.
The site is an ideal location to tour around the local area. Lots of easily accessed walks from the site. Quiet and peaceful location with the added bonus of on site red squirrels. Great value for money.
Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the site.
This is a fantastic location for a relaxing break. The park is set on a hillside with copious trees dotted amongst the caravans, we saw numerous red squirrels and rabbits running around the site. It is a refreshing change from the stereotypical 'holiday camp' type holiday, there are no clubs, pubs or swimming pools! There are a couple of pubs/restaurants nearby serving good food, a golf course and lots of woodland walks. There are lots of castles, museums and historic sites nearby all set in stunning countryside that we enjoyed. Our caravan was lovely, the hospitality tray and fresh milk in the fridge was a nice touch, not to mention the crisp white bed linen and fluffy white towels that you do not expect on a caravan holiday. Overall, we had a lovely, relaxing break and would recommend it to anyone.
Kippford is a lovely site beautifully situated and very well looked after. It is very hilly, however and would not suit those who have difficulty in walking and getting about, that said by mother is 83 and I have osteoarthritis in both knees and we both managed! The staff are friendly and helpful and could not be faulted. I would recommend this holiday park if you want a peaceful holiday, the absence of a club house/pub is a plus rather than a minus!
This is a very pleasant place to stay with friendly staff, and the park is set in a superb location. We can't wait to go back - even the two days of none stop rain didn't spoil the holiday in any way!
It was very relaxing place not too many children ideal for chilling out.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, our lodge was fantastic, the site is beautifully set out and we found all the staff very welcoming and friendly (from the people on reception to the lovely guy who emptied the bins) - we didn't want to come home!
The park is in a wonderful spot with fantastic views and easy accessibility to the local beaches and the village of Kippford itself.
The caravan was very well equipepd and included towels, tea/coffee and a hair dryer. The park is in a lovely location in the woods and very quiet.
Kippford is a beautiful place, what a find, we will be back...
Kippford is a caravan/lodge park set into a leafy hillside. Relatively quiet park considering it looked full. My kids liked the caravan, the red squirrel, the playgrounds. We enjoyed days out on the local shell and sandy beaches, walking in the extensive forestry behind the site, visiting National Trusts and Historic Scotland properties, and on a hot day the river at the Otter picnic site. The site produces two free booklets on recommended local places to visit in surrounding areas, which were very useful. I plan to stay again.
I would definitely recommend this site to anyone who enjoys the countryside and wants to be close to the coast.
Beautiful peaceful setting, red squirrels were gorgeous!
Excellent park, so quiet and peaceful. seeing the red squirrels was a treat.
The site was in a fantastic location with lots to do nearby. Caravan Park is very well kept and caravans are situated in lovely woodland grounds. I liked the way the caravans were placed at different angles to improve privacy.
Holiday was absolutely fantastic, the accommodation was beautiful, and WELL worth the money. Location was great. One of the best weekends ever. Staff were very helpful and friendly on arrival and check out. We will be back next summer, hopefully try the hot tub out this time... Thanks for a brilliant weekend. xx
We had a lovely holiday at Kippford, we stayed in a bungalow, it had every thing you needed. Lovely walks around the camp site, so quiet & peaceful. It was one of the nicest holidays we have had, Peggy the dog loved it. Would certainly go back. Mrs E Wall, N. Yorks.
Great for couples seeking a relaxing weekend, suggestion take some tealights for the spa bath, very romantic.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. As a peace and quiet park it is brilliant, and the whole area is just a lovely place to stay.
A great park to relax in with peaceful surroundings and daily visits from red squirrels. This park is in the heart of a forgotten corner of Scotland which has an unrivalled variety of scenery amidst quiet roads and no tourist tat. I shall certainly return.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our break at Kippford, the place was spotless and reception staff were very pleasant. We can't wait to go back especially our dog!! We had lovely weather and there are lots of lovely walks if you have dogs with you! Fantastic value and we will definitely be back.
The site itself is quite unique with the way it is planned and the beautiful views from either the caravans/lodges or from different parts of the park. Plus lots of outdoor pursuits on the doorstep including walking, fishing and touring. Night time can be enjoyed having a meal or a drink at the two local eating pubs which are within walking distance or just quietly taking in the beauty of the location.
Absolutely impressive accommodation loved every minute of the place, we will be back to Kippford.
Beautiful caravan on a beautiful and well kept site. All the staff on site were so friendly and welcoming...giving a real personal touch.
It was an excellent site and beautifully set out, ideal if you want a quiet relaxing few days. Our caravan was the best silver van we have had, more like gold, also the fact that towels, dish towels and washing up liquid were supplied was a bonus as was that the heating was on for us, was very thoughtful. Overall very pleased with our visit.
Kippford is a beautiful place and the holiday park is perfectly located next to the Alpine Woods where you can see Deer, Rabbits, Red Squirrels and even Badgers. From there the coast is less than a mile away where coastal walks are plentiful. It???s fantastic if you have dogs. Ours loved every minute of it. We stayed in a bronze caravan and I was unsure what to expect. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised. Accommodation was perfect for what we needed. The location is good for those who want to relax and those who are active.
A beautiful area to explore - lots to do for all ages. There were 12 of us having a family celebration from 2 - 70 & all were happy.
I would highly recommend this holiday to anyone who wants a quiet and relaxed setting as it is the most chilled out area I have visited. The walking in the area is superb and I would highly recommend this park and the area.

Great site in a beautiful location with lovely accommodation. Best site we've ever stayed in.
Excellent site for peace and quiet. Exceptional gold standard accommodation. A lot of thought had gone into the layout of the site ensuring secluded placements for the caravans. We would recommend this site to everyone who enjoys superior accommodation with everything provided that you could need for self catering.
Everything was perfect.
We loved this park, it was so peaceful and we loved watching the red squirrels and the rabbits. There are no amusements or entertainment which is what we were looking for but there is lots of things to do nearby. We would definitely recommend this park!
We arrived to a very friendly welcome from the wardens. The park is absolutely beautiful; full of flowers and well kept greenery. The accommodation was immaculate and very well equipped. I cannot rate this park highly enough. There is plenty to see and do closeby - we loved it and will return for a longer stay.

Kippford Holiday Park is a beautiful, quiet site. Ideal for people wanting peace and quiet or wanting to get out into the outdoors and being active. This is not the site for you if you want on site indoor entertainment but if you love the outdoors, it is perfect!
Fabulous, relaxing break. Accommodation was as described and to a very high standard. Hot tub was excellent for relaxing at the end of the day. Quiet location within easy travelling of many local amenities and attractions. Saw red squirrel on our deck on the last morning!
This was the best site we have ever used. the site itself is lovely, and we had red squirrels right outside our caravan. There are lovely walks very close by. A fantastic holiday.
A great quiet park with wonderful wildlife at your doorstep. We saw woodpeckers, red squirrels, rabbits and lots of other birds including nuthatches, all from the caravan window. the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was well appointed. It was very clean and had lots of space for our family of 4, even a walk in wardrobe! We stayed in a gold 3 bed caravan.
On arrival we had milk, coffee tea and biscuits provided and also washing up liquid, dishclothes and washing up brush. Even candles and matches were in the caravan in case of a power cut. The surrounding area was beautiful. Unspoilt beaches with lots of rockpools for the children to explore. The Galloway forest is a delight with lots of things to see. We enjoyed a truly relaxing week with wonderful scenery and lots of wildlife.
For a peaceful holiday with wonderful scenery, Kippford is one of the best locations in the UK!

I would recommend this park for it' s setting and the natural trees and foliage and the wildlife especially the red squirrels who's antics kept the grandchildren entertained. The attractions in the surrounding area was ample to keep us busy.

Great park, great location with plenty to do for the kids without having to drive for miles! Very welcoming staff and a generally nice atmosphere - not just at the holiday park but around the whole area. We would definitely consider returning and would recommend this park to family and friends.
Beautiful and peaceful site, very friendly staff, close to a tidal inlet with hills and mountains as a backdrop.
I have holidayed at the Kippford Holiday Park four times in the last two years on short breaks and have yet to be disappointed with the friendly welcome and helpful staff, plus the standard of accommodation on the site. With two good pubs providing excellent food at reasonable prices just a short walk from the site, plus, with lots to see and do in the area I would recommend this holiday to anyone.

This is one of the most beautiful caravan parks I have stayed in. The caravan was of a very high standard and the surroundings were peaceful and filled with lovely wildlife. The stars were unbelievably clear at night and very romantic. We had a wonderful short break and will definitely return soon.
We just wanted a short break at quite short notice to fit in with our timetable and liked the look of Kippford Holiday Park which had been previously recommended to us. From the original phone call to the pleasant lady at Hoseasons who couldn't do enough for us right through to the end of our very enjoyable break everything ran very smoothly with friendliness and quality service all the way. Mind you having spent our first holiday with Hoseasons on the Norfolk Broads back in the late fifties - I am not suprised!
I would recommend Kippford Holiday Park to people who like peace and quiet, relaxation and who enjoy wildlife. This holiday park is close by to all sorts of amenities to cater for all interests such as cycling, mountain biking, fishing, walking or simply chilling out on the nearby beautiful beach. There is wildlife galore and castles to be explored in fact this holiday is perfection.
If you choose to go,
This holiday and location was perfect, no need for improvements.
The best park we have ever been to, and we have been to quite a few over the years - you can see why David Bellamy recommended it! The little touches that the park owner provides, ie bedding, towels, tea/coffee/milk for your first cuppa were very welcome. The siting of each caravan/lodge has been considered thoughtfully. If only we lived a little nearer we would buy a caravan at Kippford!
The park is excellent for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings. Just the place for getting back to nature.
Having not been on a caravan holiday in over 30 years I was so impressed as to how spacious, comfortable and well equipped they have now become. The kitchen appliances and equipment were of a good standard and the style, range and quality of the crockery, glassware and cooking utensils was excellent. I feel it provided a much better standard of living accommodation than many self catering accommodation places that I have stayed in the past, and had the added advantage of being in a lovely environment.
Beautiful park and a beautiful location - we saw a red squirrel the day we arrived!
Kippford is a wonderful place, with fantastic scenery, we had some great evenings sat watching the sun go down over the water. Lovely people, friendly atmosphere and beautiful walks.
Superior accommodation - Boston Lodge
Kippford Holidy Park is of the highest standard. Staff are very friendly and are customer orientated. We booked a Gold Standard caravan in January 2011. On our arrival the caravan was warm and had tea ,coffee, sugar, shortbread and fresh milk for our use. The standard of the caravan was excellent throughout and was very well equipped. There are many forest walks in and around the park and the views are excellent. The 9 hole golf course is picturesque. Kippford Holiday Park is quiet, well maintained and a lovely place for a relaxing holiday.
Would definitely recommend Kippford Holiday park. Lovely surroundings and plenty of beautiful countryside to explore. Close to lots of places of interest to visit...a great holiday destination to get away from it all!

A wonderful location, ideal for walkers, golfers and young families.
Accommodation was 1st class, lovely quiet relaxing weekend, within driving distance of local towns. Would highly recommend this accommodation and park to others. We travelled with a toddler and due to the decking being fenced off we were able to let her run about and know that she could not get away. Brilliant weekend had by all and can't wait to go back.

A lovely park set in idyllic countryside - a nice, peaceful park.
Kippford is in a beautiful part of Scotland, but that on its own is not enough - the park wardens are very attentive, welcoming and happy to deal with any queries you may have, and the standard of accommodation is EXCELLENT with everything you could possibly need provided. We have recommended this park to both family and friends which has resulted in visits from them who were also suitably impressed!

Kippford was such a pretty site with an amazing amount of flora and fauna to entertain us all day long, there weren't enough hours in the day to enjoy this site at its best- just sitting watching nature do its thing! I'm a townie and endure all day and night in the rat race, what a treat to rest in Kippford for a few days.
Their wee shop is a gem as well - not full of fast food junk, has local produce and very friendly staff ahhh bliss
