Great for fishing and for couples and the local walks were well signposted.

The lodges are set in a lovely, quiet and rural setting. We loved the peace and quiet and the children loved feeding the ducks on the lake. The park is also in a very good location for visiting Longleat and other nearby attractions - we all want to go back!

The holiday was fantastic, the place itself perfect, and close to lots of places to visit. The fishing on site was really enjoyable with different lakes for more experienced or the novice. My 8 year daughter that has never fished before caught plenty - we are definitely returning.

We had a lovely peaceful time, great walks and not far from nearest supermarket.

This was a fabulous holiday that was very well priced. The location was beautiful and close to lots of tourist sights (I think we were the youngest people on this particular site 22-24) but we enjoyed relaxing by the lake with a nice glass of wine!

I thoroughly enjoyed this holiday. The location is very central to all the sights, and we had an enjoyable trip to Bath which was merely 25 minutes away. The surroundings were very picturesque (especially as it was snowing), and was more than I anticipated. This is a family run business and all the staff at the location were very friendly and we spent many nights in their bar in great conversation with various members of them. The owners go out of their way to be very hospitable and provide an excellent service. I'm currently planning my return trip! This was well worth the money!

What a wonderful place! The location of the park is great for visiting the surrounding attractions. The lodge itself was lovely, right on the lakes edge. It was great to sit out on the veranda in a morning and be greeted by the very friendly ducks!!!!! The hosts were lovely, friendly, cheery and welcoming. I would recommend this park to all my friends and family.

I would recommend this site to my friends, as most of my friends fish and it is nice and secluded and peaceful. This is just the place to unwind and relax, just the noise of mother natures animals going about their daily business, and no unruly children.

A beautiful setting in a woodland, the lakes are totally sheltered, peaceful and quiet and the lodge was set 8ft from lake edge with a personal fishing platform.

The family running this park were second to none, the food and service were great and we were greeted like old friends. We will be there again next year without fail!

Stayed in the Magpie lodge, fantastic break so relaxing no traffic noise such a beautiful location, Sitting by the lake in the Morning and evening with a cup of tea, beautiful walks for the dogs within 2 mins, get up early and see the deers just up the road on the left. Great Location for exploring to with Warminster about 5 mins away with everything you need from supermarket to pet shop, also Bath is easily accesible and a great day out, another good day out is the Bath and Dundas canal company, hire a day boat and travel up the Avon & Kennet canal. Also some good places to eat out, our favourite was the The Angel Inn Upton Scudamore Warminster great food and you can take the dogs. The owners realy nice seems like no task was to big or small and will do anything to help. Thanks again for a wonderful break.

Fantastic place.

Set in a remarkably secluded backwater but only a stones throw away from Warminster shopping centre - it was perfect!

If you are looking for peace and quiet in a lovely setting, then look no further as this park answers all those requirements.

Although my 14-year old son is the only fisherman, all three of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hunters Moon. The site is very tranquil and relaxing. Our cabin was right next to one of the lakes so my son was able to fish right outside the front door. The site is extremely close to Longleat Safari Park (it's a 5 minute car journey to the park gates) and pretty close to other local attractions. However, we found Hunters Moon to be so peaceful that we were more than happy to spend a couple of days just relaxing by the lakes. The owners, Nick and Sandy, are really friendly, they made us feel totally welcome and treated us like part of the family. We would thoroughly recommend Hunters Moon and we will definitely be making a return visit!

This is a beautiful park with friendly and helpful staff. It is central for most things to do during the day and has a well stocked and lively bar area at night. If you like fishing, this park could only be described as heaven as there are 3 ponds with some magnificent fish in!

A wonderful location, warming reception and everything you could want need nearby - overall a very nice romantic break!

Very welcoming lovely people, nothing to much trouble. If you like fishing ideal location, if you like reading very peaceful, although we did not eat in restaurant there was a full menu on offer.

Hunters Moon was a quiet and peaceful holiday you could sit and watch the wildlife around the lodges for hours.

The location was brilliant, the lodge was right at the edge of the lake and it was lovely waking up to the ducks and swans at my door waiting for their bread. There are lovely walks to go on with my dog and the town is within walking distance. The park was quiet and very peaceful, it was brilliant and I will be booking to go there again!

We already have recommended the parj to some of our friends! A super location and ideal for Longleat and so many other places of interest, we will stay here again. Waking up to the ducks and other wildlife was a fantastic experience for my 10 year old daughter!

A beautiful location for a peaceful and restful break. The lakes and stream are literally on your doorstep, making it a wonderful place for those who want to do a spot of fishing. There are some lovely places of interest a short drive away for those who want to explore. Hunters Moon is the place to escape the rat-race and we will be back next year!

I would totally recommend this park to other fishermen - over our weeks stay we caught 53 fish! The secluded feel of the place made it a most enjoyable getaway from everyday life.

Beautiful setting, ideal for lovers of wildlife. A welcoming owner with a very good knowledge of the area and places of interest and a great base for touring - especially Longleat and Bath.

Good fishing in lovely surroundings!

It is a very quiet and relaxing place to be. There is good fishing right in front of the accommodation. The views across the lakes are a treat to see especially when the sun is low. The manager and staff are very polite and they provide excellent meals, if you so wish, at reasonable prices.

Hunters Moon was a lovely peaceful setting, with lots of friendly ducks to greet you every morning! The owners/staff were more than helpful and we shall be booking to return sometime in the future.

Had a fantastic 5 day break at Hunters Moon, Warminster, Wiltshire. Myself and my fiance are very keen on fishing and can recommend it to other fishing fanatics! The staff were friendly and helpful, the log cabins were lovely and cosy, clean and had everything you needed! Warminster town is only 2 mins drive away so you are close to local shops and everything you need! PERFECT! Will be booking up again for next year! Can't wait!!!

Hunter Moons was a wonderful 'escape from it all' weekend. It is very quiet and away from it all, but for a short car ride you have plenty of choice. The staff are just fantastic and I can't rave about them enough. I have visited Hunters Moon about 6 times now and I will keep coming back. I have recommended to it several friends and have they have always come back and said how much they have enjoyed it - you won't be disappointed!!

A superb location for touring the area, a lovely setting, and leaving the hustle and bustle of the tourist trap behind. Very good value.

If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed break but within easy distance to local ammenities then Hunters Moon Lodges provides a great base. The owners are probably the friendliest and most helpful I have met in many years of travelling and their local knowledge is unsurpassed!

This was one of the most relaxing breaks I have ever had. Nothing was too much trouble for the site owner Nick, who made us feel very welcome. The lakes were well stocked and directly outside our cabin. We are already planning our next visit!!

The short break we took at Hunters Moon near Warminster was brilliant, it couldn't have been any better. OK the weather helped, but the setting was amazing, lodge was right on the lake side. The staff were brilliant so welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic holiday - peaceful and relaxing site with wonderful fishing lake for children - just like Hook a Duck! Friendly and helpful owner/staff. 15 mins walk from town an 10 mins drive from Longleat Safari Park. We will definitely be returning!

Wildlife superb in a wonderful setting, relaxing and peaceful surroundings with good bar and restaurant on site. Excellent location for sightseeing and Longleat and Bath Roman Baths are a 'MUST'.

I had a wonderful 4 day stay at Hunters Moon. The welcome was fantastic, the cabin was spotlessly clean, the surrounding area was full of wonderful walks and the park is situated on a lake with lovely ducks waddling around with their chicks. Longleat is a must as it is only 2 miles away. I would like to thank the propritors for their help as my Mother was taken ill whilst on our visit, and they helped get a Doctor's appointment at their local surgery which was brilliant as we had to leave a day early to take her to our local hospital. I would recommend a break at Hunters Moon and I will be returning to visit again!

A beautiful, quiet park tucked away in the Wiltshire countryside but convenient for local tourist attractions - Longleat, Stourhead and Clark's Village.

Hunters Moon is a very beautiful place. Peace and quiet galore. The staff are friendly and helpful, and not intrusive. The food in the restaurant is first-class.

Hunters Moon is without doubt the most fantastically beautiful, peaceful (but near to some great attractions, Wookey Hole, Longleat) clean (I am very fussy with my cleanliness) and with the most hospitable staff I have ever had the honour to come across. It entails spacious, beautifully decorated lodges, in the most tranquil setting of springs, woodland walks and fishing lakes. There is a lovely restaurant and bar on site, with takeaway if required. I would highly recommend this oasis to anyone and everyone, and am in the process of booking my next holiday there.

My husband and I found this holiday to be extremely good. Well located, comfortable and welcoming and the staff were all lovely and made you feel at home.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Every evening we had a warm welcome at the bar. Plenty of places to visit locally for day trips. It was a very lovely relaxing and peaceful holiday. We are going to go back.

I would certainly recommend this holiday to others if you are looking for a nice relaxing weekend break. It is very convenient for all the local family attractions, e.g. Longleat House and Safari Park, Salisbury town and Cathedral and a really fun family theme park called Paultons is less than an hours drive away. Warminster town centre has a handful of really nice resturants and supermarkets. We had a really nice stay and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly, they even recommended the best places to eat in the town to us and booked a table at the local Indian restaurant. Also the food in the parks restaraunt was excellent, my partner described it as 'the best steak he had ever eaten'!

This was a great week away for us. The location was perfect for a spot of fishing, beautiful walks with out dog and shopping in a good old fashioned high street. The owners were really lovely too.

My two children aged 9 and 14 loved it here, nice get away from modern life and very central, few minutes to town and ten minute drive to Longleat.

A fabulous, ideal rural retreat for fishing, wildlife and woodland dog walking - it does what it says on the tin! Our host Nick was very hospitable, flexible, and aminable. The cabin was clean, well equipped and we had piping hot water in the huge bath after long walks. We took our own food but there is a Morrisons very close by. We will be going again!

If you are a couple, then this is the perfect place, all lodges looking over the lake (so not suitable for children). Lovely setting and very peaceful. Very helpful staff.

The holiday lodge at Hunters Moon was a perfect setting for a lovely relaxing, romantic break just before Christmas .. we loved it so much we are going to return in February all being well. The park and the bar area are dog friendly which made such a difference especially at this time of the year! 10 out of 10! Thank you

Very helpful and kind owners, a beautiful park and the house was situated perfectly near the water. We had a perfect holiday!

The park is ideally positioned, just outside of the town but close enough to visit local shops etc. A half hours drive gets you to Bath with a further half hour into Bristol. Even if you don't want to drive you are just minutes away from some lovely walks. All in all I would recommend it highly.

The cabins are set in a very peaceful location, the people are very friendly and welcoming. It was a very good base to see the local area.

We have had a brilliant stay at Hunters Moon. When we arrived Nick actually brought us to our lodge and showed us everything, I've never experienced service like that! The surroundings were quiet and serene, the most noise we heard all week was the ducks greeting us every time we went outside. Highly recommend Hunters Moon as either a place to hide away and chill out or as a base to explore the area. I'm sure we will definitely be back and will be telling all our friends and family about it!!

We have been to many Hoseasons holidays in various accommodations and enjoyed them all, but this one was fantastic. The cleanliness of the log cabin, the up to date appliances and the park itself. We are definitely going to return to this park!

There is a lot to see in the area of historical and film interest. With Lacock village, Stonehenge, Longleat Safari Park, Alfred the Greats Tower and much more. If you are taking a dog, there are plenty of beautiful walks right on your doorstep.

The setting was glorious and very peaceful.

My husband and I had a wonderful week in this fantastic location. The snow had fallen and the park was looking stunning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, AND many thanks to Nick, Sandy and James for a terrific week where we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. This particular park was so relaxing. I am a young person, but all I wanted from a holiday was to get away for a couple of days, relax, have great service and see some beautiful scenery, this park provided everything I wanted and they really made us feel welcome. I will definitley be returning in the future!

From the initial phone call to the last goodbye Nick and Sandy were fantastic, the most welcoming and friendly hosts. They alone would have made the holiday special, but we also enjoyed the lovely surroundings - so peaceful, and yet so much wildlife to see (ducks, moorhens, geese, heron, even deer) The bar and restaurant were a real surprise, very pleasant and good quality food and drink. The other guests and visiting fishermen were all very friendly too. We'll certainly be back soon.

Just had an excellent weeks holiday on this site, my husband enjoyed the fishing and I enjoyed exploring the local country walks with my dog. It's a very dog friendly place and the ideal place to meet good company.

A super location with wonderful staff and nothing was too much trouble for the owner who also had a great sense of humour.

The park is in a beautiful tranquil setting, but is central to most places whether you wish to go site seeing, shopping or just for a nice peaceful break, its all here.

The holiday was absolutely fabulous and we have booked to stay again in October before our holiday was over. The site is exactly how it is advertised there was no hidden surprises. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. The food onsite at the restaurant was spot on we ate there every night happily. The owners were extremely helpful and made us more than welcome throughout our stay and were happy to recommend several places to eat on the one night that food wasn't available. The grounds were very well kept and my boyfriend enjoyed the carp fishing, catching several, the rates were very reasonable and flexible to. I can't wait to return in October.

Hunters Moon is a peaceful, picturesque place that takes you away from the hassles of everyday life to a very relaxing place. It is still within easy reach of local shops and supermarkets, and is in a part of the country where there are plenty of places to visit. The staff were friendly and helpful, with a genuine interest in ensuring that the stay was as enjoyable as possible.

Very peaceful and tranquil, staff very welcoming and helpful. Recommend clubhouse for socialising in a very friendly atmosphere whether having a drink or a home cooked meal. We may be coming back in the summer months.

If you are looking for an angling destination I think you would find this site difficult to beat - don't tell too many people!!

Hunters Moon is a beautiful, tranquil place with only a small number of chalets set around a lake. The owners are helpful and friendly (but not intrusive), and the ducks are even friendlier! There are also very many places of interest to visit nearby, the nearest being Longleat. My family and I loved our stay there and will definitely return.

A wonderful experience, lovely place and people. If you want to forget about real life for a few days and just relax then Hunters Moon is the place to be. I would highly recommend it. A nice warm welcome, lovely clean lodge, and if you don't want to cook then the bar and restaurant is good value, the food was great.

We deliberately chose a 'Peace and Quiet' location and the setting was idyllic.

We had the chance to meet the owners of the Hunters Moon and they were both very accommodating and very friendly. It is the best place to stay away from the busy city life. We love the country ambiance and the homely feeling shown by Nick and Sandy. We will never hesitate to come back in that beautiful and peaceful haven.

This is a lovely quiet location, perfect for a relaxing get away. The staff are very friendly and instantly made us feel welcome.

The park was in a very lovely setting, used by anglers, and the ducks provided us with much amusement at 'feeding time'. The cabin was big enough for two, very comfortable and the cooking facilities were brilliant, as was the bathroom and shower. There were plenty of hangers in the bedroom and the owners had provided Freeview for the TV. The owners were very helpful, and the bar and restaurant were very good. Very near to Warminster, and Bath was only 30 minutes away by train or car.

I would recommend this holiday if you like peace and quiet with fishing. The lodge is set in a very good spot for touring being situated between Bath and Salisbury for culture vultures and for those who like shopping there are some very individual shops in both of these venues.

Excellent for anyone interested in fishing and also handy for many other resorts nearby.

We felt it was in beautiful surroundings and matched the description perfectly. The staff were very friendly, and if you want a peaceful holiday this is the place to be. It was also a great central point for visiting local attractions.

A beautiful, natural setting. Quiet and yet alive with a warm welcome from Sandie and Nick, their staff and of course the ducks and geese. Cosy and very clean accommodation and beautifully cooked meals available in their restaurant or reasonably priced drinks at the bar. Best holiday we have had in this country and highly recommended to all. Our daughter loved the whole experience and so did Grandma who came with us. Suitable for all age groups interested in nature, exploring and relaxing. First class, thank you.

An ideal site for just relaxing, fishing, walking or touring.

The welcome was very good and friendly, the accommodation very clean, the park in the woods and lakes was nice and peaceful and thebBar and restaurant was excellent!

I would recommend this site, Nick was extremely helpful. I had forgotten an email with my Longleat eTickets, he was very kind and suggested we use the wireless connection in the bar to forward the email to him so he could print it off. Being local, he was also very useful for suggesting various places of interest to visit.

My family and I really enjoyed the holiday, and it was just what we where hoping for, a quiet and relaxing break. The helpfulness of the staff at the park was fantastic, even having time to show us how to fish, they went out of their way to help in any way they could. We spent two weeks in the lodge and we will be going back without doubt in the future. As I have a terminal illness and use a wheelchair when getting about we never found this any trouble, and there were lots of places to visit right on the doorstep. One of the best British holidays we have ever had thanks to Hoseasons, who kept us informed about our holiday and was very helpful from the very first time we phoned - we will be back, thanks again!

The peacefulness of the park, the great fishing and the friendly staff made this a complete chillout for us.

This holiday was fabulous just as described, great fishing, lovely cabins and peaceful location.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The check in was superb, we were then escorted to our cabin and shown around and given helpful information. The setting was great, in fact EVERYTHING about this holiday was excellent.

Good central location with easy access to major tourist and historic sites in the area. Friendly, helpful staff and a lovely setting.

Value for money and a peaceful location, albeit not far from supermarkets and eateries.

We had a lovely relaxing stay enjoying the views over the lake. Our hosts recommended local places to visit and had a lovely bar and restaurant on site - very family friendly!
