Füred Camp Site is a lovely big site on Lake Balaton in Hungary. Lake Balaton, with a length of 80 km and an average width of 8 km is the biggest lake in West and Central Europe. The camp site is located in the tourist town of Balatonfüred on the northwest side of the lake. It is a large camp site with many guests and many activities, but there is plenty of room for everybody to enjoy the sun on the grass by the shore of the lake. The main attraction is the huge water slide in the lake. The water here is not very deep, making it a safe place to swim, even for children. There is a small beach close by where they can play. There is a water-ski circuit for the sporty types. This camp site in Hungary has a lovely modern swimming pool with a separate shallow section and a smaller water slide. The grounds of this family camp site are level and divided into marked out pitches. The amenities are first rate, with a large supermarket, good toilet facilities, a sauna, a playground, various places to eat and bars.
