This is a really attractive and relaxing parc, which is especially suited to young families thanks to the excellent shade given to most pitches by the tall pines throughout the parc. The nearest beach is pleasant if rocky, but you’ll also find a beautiful sandy beach just a few minutes’ drive away. Within the parc itself, there’s a popular terrace bar which overlooks the lovely L-shaped pool, where evening entertainment takes place in high season. Close by you’ll find the charming little town of Jard, with a wide range of shops, cafés and restaurants lining the winding narrow streets, as well as a small yachting port. While small and relatively quiet, it offers you a lovely swimming pool with a small waterslide as well as a super Scandinavian style play area, all of which makes it especially suited to families with young children. It is also just 500m from the longest south-facing beach in the Vendee, where you can swim and sunbathe, before trying a spot of windsurfing on the 'marine lake'. Try tennis, mini-golf or even saddle up for a relaxing pony trek through the open country.
