This excellent campsite is regarded as one of the best in the Vendée. It’s just a ten minute walk from the beach and five miles south of St Jean-de-Monts. With modern facilities and sunny pitches, the focal point is the exciting pool complex with covered pool, waterchutes and sun terraces. The site organises evening entertainment throughout the season. There is a supermarket just around the corner, and in high season a choice of restaurants are open nearby. Some of our pitches are across a road from the main campsite facilities.
Visit the delightful village of Apremont with the remains of a Renaissance Castle or relax at the pleasant lakeside beach. Travel along the coast to the pretty resort and fishing village of St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. The popular Atlantic Toboggan Waterpark is also close-by with its waterslides and swimming pools. Cycling is the perfect way to explore the flat countryside nearby.

Located just two miles from the beach of Les Mouettes, La Yole is one of our most popular sites. With large grassy play areas, the peaceful setting and family atmosphere are perfect for families with younger children. The restaurant, offering a varied menu, and pleasant bar overlook the swimming pools. Evening entertainment, held at the bar can get quite lively during high season and may be heard from some parts of the site.
Visit the popular Atlantic Toboggan Waterpark at Merlin Plage with a variety of swimming pools, waterslides and picnic areas. The Motor Museum at Talmont St-Hilaire is another favourite with over a hundred vehicles on display. Les Sables d’Olonne has some excellent seafront restaurants and a popular zoo with free-roaming monkeys.

The seaside resort of St Jean-de-Monts is just a few miles to the north. Its wide sandy beach is perfect for children of all ages. Further afield you can visit the marshlands of the Marais Poitevin and the ancient port of La Rochelle with its cobbled streets, fortified harbour and many bars along the waterfront.

| Situated next to a wonderful sandy beach, this modern campsite is ideal for a family beach holiday.
Camping Sol-à-Gogo has direct access to a superb beach and is an easy stroll from the resort of Les Mouettes. The fantastic swimming pool complex offers a refreshing alternative to the beach and the children will love the waterchutes and waterslides. There is also a covered pool which would not look out of place in a private health club. The site is well-maintained, and facilities include a bar and a lively entertainment programme in high season. Some noise may be heard from the local road.
There are numerous beaches in the area, from the sandy sheltered beach at St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie to secluded coves at Sion-sur-l’Océan. The market town of Challans is only ten miles away, with a popular market on Tuesdays. On the way back you could visit a working mill at Sallertaine still using traditional methods.

St Hilaire-de-Riez is just a short drive away. On-site, the attractive swimming pool complex features a waterchute, indoor pool, spacious sun terrace, and poolside bar sheltered from sea breezes. Some pitches are separated by tall poplar trees and mature hedges, providing shade from the hot Vendéen sun.
Shops, restaurants and the Atlantic Toboggan Waterpark are just minutes away at Merlin Plage. Here the sands are golden and fine and the beach shelves gently into the sea. For surfers, Les Sables d’Olonne offers big waves and the largest beach in the Vendée, an ideal area for exploring the coast and quiet villages by bike.

The focal point is the outstanding waterpark with jacuzzi, waterslides, waterchute and lazy-river as well as spacious sun terraces and a new modern bar just just been added. A short stroll takes you to a beautiful sandy beach or you can explore the woods and dunes along the coast. This site is three quarters of a mile from Merlin Plage, and four miles from St Jean-de-Monts.
The colourful fishing port of St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, with its large expanse of golden sand at the Grand Plage, is ten minutes away by car. Further south, Les Sables d’Olonne has a variety of stylish shops and restaurants. Take a boat trip to the traffic-free island of Ile d’Yeu, an island of granite cliffs and rocky creeks and the beautiful rocky Côte Sauvage. Its capital is a lively fishing port where you can sample fresh lobster.

The site provides a free coach service in high season that will take you and the family to a variety of local places including the beaches. Les Sables d’Olonne, a famous west coast resort is only 10 minutes drive away. It boasts a fantastic Zoo that the children will love.

Camping Bel is a small site, just a short stroll from La Tranche-sur-Mer, with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The facilities on-site are extremely well-maintained and you can spend long carefree days relaxing on the sun terrace by the attractive pool. The sports facilities include half tennis courts and an outdoor fitness course.
The Vendée is an ideal place to try your hand at watersports or sea fishing. La Tranche-sur-Mer is an attractive holiday resort boasting the longest south-facing beach in the Vendée. Further afield, a trip to the ancient port of La Rochelle, with its narrow streets and fortified harbour is a must. Whilst in La Rochelle visit the fabulous Aquarium or drive over the bridge to the Île de Ré, with a wonderful landscape and famous salt marshes.

This lively site offers an excellent range of facilities. Lazy days can be spent soaking up the sun on the vast expanse of beach, sheltered by dunes. Relax on-site by the lovely swimming pool, or play a game of tennis before enjoying a relaxing sauna. Fitness fanatics meanwhile will enjoy the on-site gymnasium. The large bar becomes lively in the evenings during high season and noise may be heard from some pitches. Some of the pitches on this site offer shade from the hot Vendéen sun. One mile away is the resort of Longeville.
The lively seaside resort of La-Tranche-sur-Mer has a regular market and plenty of restaurants. The fine Grand Plage at Les Sables d’Olonne is well worth a visit. La Rochelle, one and a quarter hours drive away by car, has a fortified harbour, cobbled streets, excellent shops and a popular Aquarium. You can take a boat trip to the Ile de Ré from the port, where you can sample the local oysters in one of the many restaurants in the old town.
