| Situated right by the sea, with a wide, steep sandy beach hardly used by anyone outside Le Soleil, this first class park offers a well appointed base for a family holiday on the Franco-Spanish border. Together with an array of superb facilities, Le Soleil sits just 2km from the bustling resort of Argles, surrounded by the beautiful hinterland of the Pyrnes.There is something to suit everyone in this wonderful part of France. Lovers of fishing will enjoy the opportunities offered by the river adjacent to the park, and the nearby picturesque old port of Collioure offers a homage to fishermen via the famous painters Matisse and Derain. During their many walks, the painters captured the landmarks and the soul of the fishing village, which now boasts a 'living museum' based on reproductions of the paintings exhibited in the streets. A visit to the Aquacity is a must, adventure parks, Les Angles animal park, the huge yacht harbour at St Cyprien and Confient caves are all close by.

The site is one and a half miles north of Argelès-sur-Mer with its five mile stretch of golden sand. As a Keycamp customer you are automatically given membership to Club La Sirène, with free access to a wide range of activities, including tennis, barbecue parties and organised evening entertainment. PADI scuba-diving lessons with the English-run school and kayaking tuition are available in the stunning swimming pool complex. This is one of our most popular sites and is ideal for teenagers.
A range of watersports are available at the beach as well as boat trips along the coast to Spain. For the children, two miles away is the popular Aqualand waterpark at St Cyprien. A trip south to the picturesque old fishing port of Collioure, with its beautiful rocky bay, brightly coloured fishing boats and 17th century château, is a must. The foothills of the Pyrénées are only a few miles away.

Bois de Valmarie has become a popular choice with our customers. It is set on a hillside just across the road from the beach of Le Racou, and a short walk from lively Argelès with many restaurants and bars. The waterpark, with fantastic views of the Bay of Argelès, includes a split-level pool linked by waterfalls, waterchutes, waterslides and a children’s pool. The restaurant and bar on this small site are the ideal location for relaxing at the end of the day. Trains can occasionally be heard from the nearby railway.
There are five miles of lovely beaches along this coast, and at nearby Argelès Plage you can enjoy a choice of watersports. For a day out, head inland to the fortified town of Villefranche de Conflent, from where the tourist train takes a spectacular journey into the Pyrénées. The Aqualand waterpark is in St Cyprien, 8 miles away.

Camping Hippocampe provides all the ingredients for a fun-packed family holiday. There is a long sandy beach only a mile away at Argelès-sur-Mer, and an impressive choice of campsite activities. With a superb swimming pool with waterchute and waterslides, you also have access to the wide range of sports facilities, children’s clubs and evening entertainment at La Sirène, its larger sister site across the road. The lively evening entertainment at La Sirène can sometimes be heard.
Within 20 minutes drive you can be exploring the hilltop villages of the Pyrénées. Perpignan is a short drive north. It has a Spanish flavour and many residents speak Catalan. Visit Collioure and see the Bar du Templiers where young artists such as Picasso and Matisse would buy drinks with their paintings.

Situated beside a long stretch of glorious sandy beach, this large, lively campsite has excellent facilities and organised entertainment throughout the season. There is an attractive pool complex surrounded by a large sunbathing area and restaurant with panoramic views. The site is divided by a small road that leads to the beach. Most facilities are across the road, separate to where our accommodation is situated.

| Close to a superb sandy beach, a large holiday centre with extensive amenities and leisure facilities.
Domaine de la Yole offers all the ingredients for a family holiday, with a landscaped swimming pool complex with two pools and a glorious shelving sandy beach just a short walk away. This is a large, lively site, just one and a half miles from Valras Plage, and ideal for families with younger children. The campsite is partly shaded by poplar trees providing some welcome shade during the hottest parts of the day. There is a large bar with terrace, a popular place for rounding off the day.
Béziers, an attractive old town and capital of the Languedoc wine industry, is just a short distance away and has an impressive cathedral and Roman arena. A visit to Sète, twenty-five miles away, makes a pleasant day out. For a fun day out visit Aqualand waterpark, nineteen miles away in the modern resort of Cap d’Agde.

| A brand new site for Keycamp in 2008 offering a superb location in this popular holiday destination.
The site is set on the edge of Argeles town offering views of the Pyrenees and a local vineyard. It is therefore well placed to take advantage of the numerous bars and restaurants in the resort, plus of course being within easy walking distance of the sandy beach.
Our pitches on-site are large and grassy and are situated to the rear of the site with mature trees providing some shade on the majority of pitches. All our mobile home accommodation on this site will be brand new for 2008 and includes air-conditioning and decking.
A new pool complex will be built for the beginning of the season and the site also features a children's play area and basic bar facility.
There are miles of great sandy beaches along this stretch of coastline and the beach at Argeles features a range of watersports. The Aqualand waterpark at St Cyprien is always a good family day out, or why not explore some of the pretty villages around this area such as Collioure on the Spanish border, or take a day trip into Spain.
