A superb Castels site with a waterpark, next to a lake beach.
Le Val de Bonnal enjoys a rural setting in the former estate of a château, and has a refined Country Club atmosphere. A river runs by the site, popular for canoeing, and there are four large lakes within easy walking distance where you can swim, fish, hire pedalos and cycle. The lakeside beach is backed by large, grassy areas for sunbathing. The facilities are first-class, including a waterpark with waterslides and waterchute. The snack bar and reception are housed in traditional stone buildings.
The surrounding area is full of places to explore, from the Alsace vineyards to the northeast to the Jura region in the southeast. The Dino Zoo, with huge dinosaur models, will be a favourite with children, and the Gouffre de Poudrey caves with its son et lumière show are something for the whole family to enjoy.

This campsite offers the attractions of a new waterpark, combined with a beautiful setting on the eastern shores of Lac de Chalain. The blue waters of the lake are backed by the forested Jura hills, and offer a wonderful natural setting for relaxing on the lakeside beach and enjoying the scenery, or hiring a canoe or pedalo. There is an extensive range of amenities including a bar and restaurant. The site becomes quite lively in high season, and is ideal for those wanting an active holiday and to explore the beautiful countryside.
This is a wonderful area for those who enjoy the outdoors, with plenty of superb walking and cycling trails through wonderful scenery. Use Keycamp walking notes to explore the local area. Arbois, twenty-two miles away, is one of the most attractive towns in the Jura. The Cirque de Baume, near Lons-le-Saunier, is a spectacular steep valley with caves, waterfalls, streams and underground lakes.

| Camping Les Sources is a large terraced camp site full of atmosphere set in woodland in the mountainous area of Alsace. The pitches are not completely marked out but are scattered among the trees and form a real woodland camp site! There is masses to do here: an extensive entertainment programme for all ages and plenty of sports amenities. You have the use of a tennis court, volleyball field, minigolf course and even stables with horses. The heated swimming pool is not lacking either. There is also a lovely indoor pool. After all that sport enjoy a delicious meal in the intimate restaurant where the head chef will spoil you with authentic regional specialities. There is also plenty to do and see in the vicinity. Between the endless woodlands you will find extensive vineyards, sights along the ‘Route des vins d’Alsace’, medieval ruins and castles or the towns of Wattwiller and Colmar with their many half-timbered houses. You can also take part in the regional wine festivals of Alsace. You are in the perfect place to vary your camping holiday with a few days in the Jura in eastern France or Switzerland (really beautiful!). Via Mulhouse you can be in Basel or southern Germany in no time. |

| Domaine des Bans is located in the heart of the Vogues at an altitude of 560 metres and offers all the advantages you could wish for to make the holiday unforgettable for the whole family. Here you will find a lovely water park with slide, wild water rapids and a jacuzzi, perfect for keeping the children occupied all day long. Another source of water fun is the large lake on the site where you can go canoeing, and several lakes in the vicinity. Fishing is permitted in some of these. The camp site is also a great place for a sportive holiday. You can play tennis and beach volleyball here, go cycling, horse riding and there is a multi-even sports field. Plenty is organised for the children and they can have fun in the various playgrounds, the children’s' disco and the playroom. Domaine des Bans is the perfect base for exploring the spectacular (mountain) landscapes of Alsace and Lotharingen. Be sure to visit a silver mine on your day out and the spectacular La Volerie des Aigles bird of prey show in the medieval castle at Kintzheim. It is also beautiful here in winter! |
