| Nestled in the Basque country, this parc is ideally located for the surfing beaches of the south west. Situated beside a small lake, this Castels parc is four miles from the elegant town of Biarritz. The soaring Pyrenees form a magnificent backdrop to the parc, which has terraced hillside pitches set amongst oak trees. There is a waterpark with a four lane waterslide, as well as a covered pool across the road in a newer part of the parc. However, if relaxation is more your style, don’t forget the Balneo, where you can enjoy a massage in the outdoor spa or relax in the jacuzzi complex which is free in low season and available for a small charge during July and August. The facilities on this parc are second to none, especially the superb aquatic area with its three pools, play river and triple waterslide - and with a new waterpark, including an indoor children’s pool, spa, jacuzzi and Turkish bath, its only going to get better! While about 900m away, you can learn to surf and bodyboard in the spectacular Atlantic waves. There are dozens of activities for kids of all ages, as well as entertainment, centered around the bar-restaurant every night in high season, with the promise that all will be quiet after midnight and the parc owner is keen for all rules to be respected for the benefit and comfort of all guests. Beyond the parc, Labenne offers endless forest roads and cycle paths; while the town itself has a splendid outdoor market, two petting zoos, as well as the lovely Marais d’Orx nature park. | ||||||

Close to a magnificent beach and lake, Le Vieux Port is located in a beautiful pine forest and offers an exceptional variety of facilities for all ages. Whilst peaceful in low season, this parc becomes lively during the months of July and August with an extensive organised programme of entertainment. Children will love brand new pool complex with fantastic wave and children’s pools, as well as waterslides. Most of our pitches are sandy and benefit from shade. The lakeside resort of Port d’Albret is a short walk away and Messanges is 3 kilometres away. Le Vieux Port has direct access to the beach, however it is a 10 mins walk through the parc. | ||||||

It is just a fifteen minute walk or cycle to the fine sandy beaches of this area, and watersports facilities are widely available. Whilst there is plenty to do at this well maintained parc, the Les Landes forest is perfect for cyclists. Parc rules are strictly enforced for the benefit and comfort of all guests. | Camping le Ruisseau is a well-equipped, top quality family-run site. Situated in the Basque country and close to the sea, the majestic peaks of the Pyrénées rise in the distance. The emplacements here are set in shady oakland and the site boasts its own lake, which is ideal for a quiet spot of carp fishing. The fantastic pool complex incorporates waterslides, a jacuzzi, sauna and an expansive sun terrace. Sports opportunities are plentiful – take to the tennis courts or the gymnasium, while young children will love the excellent play area and trampolines. In the evenings, entertainment is laid on during the height of the summer in the popular lively bar and on the terrace. The site lies close to a motorway but traffic noise is minimal. | ||||||
