Take a trip into the Verdon canyon, Europe’s largest – a beautiful, steep-sided slice through the Provencal countryside, with an emerald river snaking through it. The elegant boulevards of Nice, Marseille, Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Monaco are all within an easy hour’s drive, or less. | A superb holiday centre with a Californian-style waterfun park, in a beautiful hillside location.
This family-run site blends in perfectly with the rolling Provençal countryside. At the centre of the site is a waterpark featuring waterchutes and jacuzzi, with free entry for Keycamp customers (outside of high season, plus every weekend, and each weekday all season between specified times), there is a charge outside of these times. The site runs over a quite steep hillside and may be unsuitable for young children or those with walking difficulties, however, most pitches are on terraces with lovely views, and during high season site staff organise sports activities and lively evening entertainment. The site is 11km from the beach at Canadel. Please note that pool opening times and prices are based on 2007, please check at time of booking.
Visit the fine sandy bays at La Croix-Valmer and Cavalaire-sur-Mer, which are among the best on the Riviera. St Tropez, with its luxury yachts, smart cafés and designer-label boutiques, is just a short distance to the east. For a longer day out take the ferry from Le Lavandou to the traffic-free island of Porquerolles where you can find a secluded beach of your own.

Superbly equipped and exceptionally well maintained, Holiday Green offers just about everything you could want from a holiday destination. There’s a 1000m² Californian-style swimming pool. A brand new indoor heated pool with waterslides and jacuzzi opened in 2007. To keep the kids happy, a whole range of activities are held throughout the season. Plus with ample sports facilities, a fitness room, massages, tennis, themed restaurant nights, live music and more, there’s also plenty for mum and dad!
Fashionable Cannes and St Tropez are both a short drive away. As are Aqualand water park, Marineland sea adventure park, the Lunar Park and Fréjus Zoological Park. Plus if you really want to take things at a lazy pace, there’s the tortoise village of Gonfaron. There are several golf courses nearby, including the 5005m, par 68, Golf de Valescure course at St Raphaël.
