Its excellent range of facilities has long since made La Baume one of the most popular parcs on the French Riviera. You’d think that the magnificent pool complex with its four-lane waterslide would be the unrivalled centrepiece of this lively parc. However, there is also a completely separate and beautifully designed ‘lagoon’ pool with still more slides, providing wonderful facilities for all. This year there is also the new covered pool, on two levels, with slides, jacuzzi and steam room. The parc’s top quality facilities also include two bars, restaurant, tennis courts, play area, take-away and fitness room. There are also plenty of lovely beaches nearby and come the evening you can choose between live entertainment and dancing the night away in the parc’s own disco. This is a popular family parc with facilities that include a first-rate 25 metre heated pool, as well as an attractive restaurant and near the pool, a sauna and super new jacuzzi. You are also just 100m from a lake beach where you can swim, canoe or simply soak up the sun. As if all that wasn’t enough, there are plenty of sports facilities nearby and the myriad of lovely beaches and chic resorts of the Côte d’Azur are just a short drive away. In fact, the whole area is simply gorgeous: vineyards and peach orchards surround you, while Roquebrune itself, with its 16th Century walls and narrow cobbled streets is as picturesquely charming as ever. The stunning Gorges du Verdon 60km away makes a great day out, as do Nice, Cannes and Monaco. |

Despite its close proximity to the heart of the Riviera, L’Etoile d’Argens enjoys a peaceful, rural setting with a vineyard as its nearest neighbour. The owners take great pride in their parc too, and this is evident everywhere you look. There’s a super pool complex with adjoining bar and restaurant and from May to August the ‘animateur’ organises activities for all the family. In high summer you can also travel free of charge and traffic free, on the parc’s busy little 12-seater boat down the tranquil river to the golden beaches of St. Aygulf. Like the little resort itself, they are among the best on the Riviera. You are also just across the bay from Fréjus and the fashionable resort of St. Raphaël. |

| You’ll enjoy delightful walks and panoramic views from this beautiful parc. This first rate, steeply terraced parc with it’s ochre buildings blends into the scenery so well that when you first set eyes on the glorious swimming pools, they create a quite startling contrast. Esterel really is a perfect holiday location, with an excellent restaurant and disco on the parc and a night club and golf courses close by. The Esterel hills too, with their wooded slopes and pink outcrops are truly breathtaking. It’s an ideal spot for nature lovers, with many superb walks, from gentle strolls to robust hikes. For more sophisticated pleasures, you are also just a couple of miles drive through a wooded valley to Agay, with its pavement cafés and sandy beach. |
