A spectacular mountain setting in the heart of the Jura,ideal for outdoor and watersport enthusiasts. Situated on the wooded shoreline of the beautiful Lac de Chalain, La Pergola is three miles from Doucier and a convenient base for exploring the lakes, forests, waterfalls and mountains of this stunning area. Much of the daytime activity centres around the lake and beach, where you can make use of windsurfing facilities. There is also an attractive swimming pool complex. In high season the site becomes very lively, with plenty of organised entertainment. Our mobile homes are set on steep terraces. Lac de Chalain, perhaps the most impressive of Jura’s lakes, is ideal for fishing and watersports. There are many woodland trails nearby, following the River Hérisson and its magnificent waterfalls. To the west, the Cirque de Baume is a beautiful valley with huge caves and waterfalls.

This campsite offers the attractions of a new waterpark, combined with a beautiful setting on the eastern shores of Lac de Chalain. A large parc that enjoys a superb lakeside setting, making it ideal for watersport enthusiasts and sun worshippers alike. Ideally situated on the banks of a fabulous natural lake and surrounded by the wooded foothills of the Jura, Domaine de Chalain is a quite spectacular parc. It features a fantastic pool complex with waterslides, children’s pool, jacuzzi and heated indoor pool, not to mention a wide range of sporting activities, though some may not be available until July, when the parc can be quite lively. Eurocamp customers are entitled to free access to the pool according to a credit system for entry, please ask at time of booking. The adjoining lakeside beach is a great place to soak up the sun, but you can also fish, swim, or hire a pedalo or canoe. There are also many beautiful walks and gorgeous wine villages to be explored and the many attractions of Switzerland are within easy reach.

Part of the excellent ‘Castels’ group, this parc is ideal for overnight stops and longer stays alike. In either case, you are assured of a warm welcome. Lying amidst the unspoilt forests and rolling meadows of the Haute-Marne region of Champagne, the parc’s full range of modern facilities are housed within a beautifully converted 17th century forge building. These include a heated indoor pool as well as all the sports facilities you could ask for. In high season, the English speaking owners organise an extensive entertainment programme, with activities for children and adults alike and most people who come here take full advantage of the terrace bar, where you can have a drink or a meal overlooking the parc’s own small fishing river. A river runs by the site, popular for canoeing, and there are four large lakes within easy walking distance where you can swim, fish, hire pedalos and cycle. The lakeside beach is backed by large, grassy areas for sunbathing. The facilities are first-class, including a waterpark with waterslides and waterchute.
