Check and grease |

Wheels & Brakes |
- coupling head
- over run piston
- breakaway cable
- corner steadies
- jockey wheel

- Remove the wheels and brake drums.
Remove any dust with a stiff bush and
check that the brake shoes are in good
condition. If they are worn out
replace them
- Adjust the brakes as necessary, not
forgetting the handbrake mechanism
- Examine the tyres ensuring that they
have not perished and are legal
- Check the tyre pressure and inflate
as required

Lighting and Electrical |
- Check that the gas hoses are not leaking
and are not perished
- Check the fridge works on gas, battery
and electric
- Check the cooker works
- Check the water heater is working properly
- Check the heater and blown air unit
(if fitted is working)
- Check the water pump works and all the
taps and showers work
- Check that the toilet flush mechanism
works OK

- Check that the external lights work
correctly
- Check that all of the mains and battery
powered lights work inside the caravan
- Check that the battery is still holding
a charge, re-charge and replace if required

- Oil door
and cupboard hinges
- Clean the
door and window seals
- Check that
the blinds all work
- Refill gas

- Damp check
to ensure that your caravan is dry
