Campeggio Polvese is an attractive camp site directly on the shores of Lake Trasimeno, in the green heart of Italy. It is an ideal base for exploring Tuscany and Umbria. The centuries old city of Perugia is not far from the camp site and is a revelation for culture lovers. But just a day shopping or a coffee in a stylish cafe is an experience in Perugia. The camp site is noted for its large pitches, the excellent quality of its facilities and its hygiene. The pitches are spacious and shaded. On the lake there are moorings and a quay for boats, actually in the camp site. There is also a private beach where volleyball is played. There is a swimming pool so you can take a lovely dip, and when you are getting hungry you can head for the restaurant which has excellent pizzas.
