La Grande Tortue is a friendly family camp site situated on the Loire between the cities of Tours and Orléans. The medieval town of Blois is close by. The camp site is located in a lovely flower-filled setting and has spacious pitches which offer plenty of privacy. The refurbished restaurant offers a large choice of (simple) meals: snacks, dishes of the day and roast chicken are just some examples. You can eat these not only indoors but when the weather is nice, outside on the new terrace. Children can play around in the playground or be amused by the entertainment team. The team arranges activities for the whole family every day in high season. These include performances and shows and games for the children. If you prefer to do something by yourself try volleyball, tennis, jeu de boules or basketball! You can freshen up in the swimming pool. Even the youngest ones are taken care of, as there is a toddlers' pool.
